[game]: Come Sail Away come_sailaway [who I play]: Bastion / Overwatch; Wilson / Don't Starve [wanted]: JUICE / 17776 [why]: This is mostly not for me, it's for my co-players, who play a teenage French butch lesbian OC and Voyager from Fate/Requiem, another anthropomorphic space probe. I think this game needs more weird French people and more space probes and JUICE hits the centre of that Venn diagram dead-on. Voyager's human form is a child, so they might have a fun siblingesque dynamic.
Having said that, I think both Wilson and Bastion would like some new nonhuman CR, so if that sounds good to you then it sounds good to me!
[game info]: Come Sail Away is set on the Serena Eterna, an unbranded, slightly outdated luxury cruise ship in a bubble dimension full of sun and sea hidden away from the rest of the multiverse. It's run by the Captain, a rogue jinn whose preferred form is a replica of the villain from Something Wicked This Way Comes, and administered by Gal Friday, his constructed servant and our cheerful but beleaguered cruise director. The ship has many amenities, from clubs and bars to a Tommy Bahama store that extends infinitely beyond the dimensions of the rest of the ship, and a few resident monsters both PC and NPC.
It's technically a horror game, but this mostly comes into play during the events; the ship is powered by the passengers' souls and suffering, but between monthly events or during less dangerous events, the characters can hang out, enjoy themselves as much as they can on a murderboat, and get into shenanigans. The tone between horror events is usually comedic and slice-of-lifey, though not allergic to seriousness.
CRAUs are allowed. Characters keep their original memories and backstories but can't go back to their canons. Smut is allowed but not a major focus. Pace is medium; it gets fast at the beginning and/or denoument of events but isn't like that all the time, and it's genuinely the most backtag friendly game I've ever been in. AC consists of linking to either of: three threads with 10 comments from you, or one open post and one thread with 10 comments from you (I usually do the latter). It's checked at the end of the month and it's easy to find another player in the Discord to boomerang a thread to the required length if you're lacking. You can opt out with a hiatus if you're certain you can't do it, as long as you don't put the hiatus request in literally on AC day. This means you can't get regains from bonus AC but you can keep tagging.
Characters aren't required to be turned human or humanoid, but they have to be small enough to fit through a door or on a lifeboat/excursion tender, and it generally helps if they can move around on their own, so turning JUICE into anything from a gijinka to an object head to a toy-sized miniature floating space probe would be a good idea because he would have some difficulty getting out of his cabin in his original form.
