my idea's simple, and actually not incredibly detailed. it could be in any community, so perhaps this could even be a ffxiv jamjar of sorts (though i would need world info)! where he just randomly shows up and starts living in the place and opens up shop, or helps out in someone else's flowershop. he's mysterious and nobody knows anything about him, and he does not seem to dodge any questions about him, but it's so very obvious he's not telling the truth. but since joshua does not seem to be harming anyone, then they just let it pass :'D
