I have so many feelings about how we were robbed of the potential interactions there. For example, I could see people in Adrestia being a lot more nonchalant about Almyrans than people in Leicester--they're far enough away so as to be less intimidating, and it'd even be possible for enterprising Almyran merchants to sail around Fodlan to sell their goods to interested parties in Enbarr. Almyran fabrics in opera costumes, Almyran stories translated and adapted for the stage (with changes made to accommodate a Fodlander's sensibilities). That sort of thing.

Golden Deer Dorothea is absolutely heartbreaking. She's really such a gentle soul underneath all the thorns, and it's so obvious that the war is tearing her apart. It's even worse if you don't recruit Ferdinand. I don't want to talk about it.
