oh man, raidou! i think a lot of your cast list would be a good fit for expiationlogs actually. it's a fantasy/sci-fi game with exploration elements (and the occasional light bit of horror). i'd put it in the medium pace range. i can't guarantee any mentor-cats, but i'm sure secret identities are on the table. the most recent test drive is here, and apps are open until thursday
