Looking for any and all castmates! Genshin Impact is my main focus right now and I love it to pieces, so I'd be happy to play Aether off any other character from it, even if you're just voicetesting and not seriously committed to a muse at the moment. Gen threads are very welcome — I'm down to do anything from wacky adventures to more serious musings on life and death and what have you. I've got extended shipping preferences in my journal, but the basic summary is that I only write M/M with Aether; still, I'm perfectly happy with playing gen if you're not interested in shipping. I also have a wishlist of scenarios covering some gen, shippy, and smutty prompts if you're not sure what we might play together!
I am always enthusiastic for old Genshin content if you are currently running through the game and haven't caught up, but since everyone else is on that post-4.2 high, here's a list of Aether-specific things I'm particularly interested in at this time:
SPOILERS FOR 4.2 ARCHON QUEST
Obviously, I'm down to do post-4.2 content of all kinds — discussions, debates, hurt/comfort, whatever works! (Aether is not likely to be the hurt party in these transactions; I am thinking, for example, of him helping Neuvillette sort through his feelings, or getting to visit Childe in Snezhnaya somehow... please, let him see Childe in a full-body cast...)
I'd be more than happy to play off any character that was involved in the Fontaine plotline; I feel like he should catch up with Mona about Barbeloth and "N," for example, and I have such a need for him to have more very tense (or perhaps surprisingly cordial?) tea parties with Arlecchino and/or the rest of the Fatui kids.
For more story-based, long-term shenanigans, I live for Aether being an ice-cold attorney and investigator whether he's the defense attorney or prosecutor, and I'd absolutely love to do more plotty, Ace Attorney-esque threads where he gets to investigate some crime. I'm more than happy to facilitate the actual development of the crime if you're not a mystery-minded person!
Also, I'm kind of reeling over the "remains of the Third Descender" lore; I don't usually go crazy with theories before anything is confirmed, but I am so, so desperately interested in playing out the theory that the Third Descender was the Traveler's sibling via some kind of horrifically messed up time travel, who is currently using a cloned Khaenri'ahn body and working with the Tsaritsa to recollect the Gnoses and rebuild their original body. (Yes, this is currently a semi-popular theory.) I rarely get to play Aether as the Abyss Sibling, so if this premise hooks anyone, I'm more than happy to see how this could be relevant to your character!
In terms of shipping, I'm most interested in bouncing him off Neuvillette, Wriothesley, and Childe. I actually like the idea of interactions with Lyney where there are unrequited feelings on Lyney's side that Aether refuses to acknowledge due to, you know, the trust issues, but I realize that very few people are interested in playing out unrequited ships. I thought I'd mention it just in case anyone is down, though!
