expiationnet might fit with a lot of what you're looking for, it's a fantasy/exploration game that deals with crime and morality. I'd call it medium paced and very backtag-friendly. There's a lot of chances for characters to affect the setting, and villains have been doing pretty well in the game too. New TDM just went up yesterday, if you're interested!
