ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the Second Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game. IN GENERAL: ➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be frozen or screened. ➤ All mod responses regardless of whether they're rule breaks, correction requests (like someone posting in the wrong section), or thwapping someone for spamming copy-paste ads, have always been and will almost universally be public. If someone sends a PM and the conversation gets combative, this will also be made public and posted to the comments of the mod contact page. This is for the sake of transparency so people can judge the emp mod's communications for fairness themselves. There are times where the player's post may be screened (such as if they posted to the wrong section) but the mod's response will be left unscreened. ➤ Players may sometimes be allowed more than one strike for copy-paste ads since this is often just enthusiasm behind it, but game mods should know better. LEO: For those unfamiliar Leo is a composer/idol from the Ensemble Stars franchise (a student in ! era and graduated in !! era, yes the exclamation point denotes two different eras why this) who tends towards the eccentric and excitable as well as being a sort of disorganized mess. He's 19 in current canon but I can play him earlier or age him up! Depending on era he's either the king of Knights, an idol unit, or the ex-king who is pretty much just as annoying as he was when he was in charge. I'm interested in both castmates and cross-canon folks for threading and while obviously idol-genre canons will work quite well I'm game for literally anything and don't mind going wild on the AU note. I love shipping but it isn't required! Favorite canon ships include Sena, any Knights member really, Eichi, Madara...but I'm open to pretty much anyone from canon and anyone cross-canon!

IZUKU: Izuku is a superhero in training with the quirk "One for All" - basically, he has super strength and a few other things. Determined to become the best "hero who rescues" with a smile on his face, Izuku is a super nerd who can be pretty awkward but who is super friendly with a heart of gold. He's 16 in current canon but I can age him up or play him earlier depending on what we'd like to do! I'm good with canon or cross-canon for him and in terms of shipping my canon favorite is Katsuki but I'm open to pretty much whatever, canon or cross-canon. Izuku does best with people who have some sort of passion and who are a bit more on the strong-willed side!

SCENES: I've got some specific scene ideas here but tropes I'm jonesing for these days are soulmate marks, a/b/o, hanahaki, TIME LOOPS!!!, knight/royalty AUs, android/human stuff, AUs in general specifically ones based off of cards for Leo or popularity polls for Izuku, some sort of fantasy isekai set up, throwing characters into other canons, and so on! I do have more specific ideas for each but it depends on what characters they're being played off of so feel free to ask for more details.

⤑ Original characters. I've taken a real liking to building OCs and would love to do so for more PSLs. I have several unused concepts or generic "plug and play" types we could use for whatever oneshot or PSL you like.
⤑ Slowburn romances. We can string these out over a series of meme threads with building CR or a series of PSL threads. Or half and half, I'm not picky.
⤑ Soulmates / Mated tropes, particularly when combined with other things such as monsters / the supernatural. I like markings, courting / mating rituals and such.
⤑ Supernatural things. This can include fairy tales, fantasy, mythology or spookier things.

I've been gnawing on my enclosure bars for au's where the Turks manage to get to Zack in time and get him and cloud out, or even Reno going rogue to extract them from Nibelheim/Midgar WASTES. Also rattling my cage for scenes following up the consequences of a Turk/SOLDIER going rogue, them as rogue operatives either low-key helping, or getting directly involved in helping Cloud's crew in VII. Or just enjoying domestic fluff of them staying in hiding and being left alone along with the other BC Turks.

Rufus:
Preface this by saying I do enjoy a healthier relationship between these two, and if anyone wants to thread healthier/friendlier things between them I am ALWAYS down. That said: I'm also definitely in a mood to do various scenes between these two with someone else who has played Before Crisis. Looking for toxic-shipping or darker-themed scenes of heavy conversations. I'm in a particular mood to write scenes for something dubious/toxic between them including a longstanding tension from that time Rufus made them bargain for their lives at gunpoint, and I'd love to play with the dubious consent of that power dynamic trickling into AC for a scene or two of them sleeping together(just for the want of satisfying needs, and the other is the best/safest candidate; nothing emotional).

Turks:
I absolutely NEED scenes of the Turks clowning in the office. Just. Getting into stupid trouble. Rod and Reno sending eachother cursed memes. Reno saying things just to get on Gun's nerves, dragging Two Guns out of the office to socialize. Literally any and all of the Turks. Also I would be down for more emotionally charged scenes, so hurt-comfort, angst, etc. I love the found-family aspect the Turks have going on in Before Crisis and would love to do scenes that really build that. As with the specific Veld request, as a Zack/Reno shipper, I'd again love a scene of dragging Reno out to a bar, Aerith's church, or even the training room to make Reno actually fucking grieve instead of trying to bottle it up.

Aerith:
I'm down for it being light-hearted mischief, or maybe also something more emotionally charged, but I'd like to do stuff with these two, and play more with the idea that Aerith and the Turks have a sort of understanding. Considering the events of BC/CC, how things play out in VII, Tseng's feelings and Veld's circumstances, it's likely the Turks intentionally kept her away from Hojo by feigning incompetence regarding her capture, and I'd like to explore their interactions in non-work/non-perfirmance settings.

Veld:
Look Veld almost called the Turks his children, and Reno almost called Veld father in On The Way To A Smile, and I just need little quiet/happy one-shot scenes with these two. Reno treating Veld's daughter like a little sister, Reno just doing something nice or ridiculous to get a smile out of Veld. Forcing Veld out of the office to relax a little. I just want a lil domesticity, maybe some fluff, and some found-family hurt-comfort I am a simple player. I would love to do a scene referencing Zack/Reno after Nibelheim or the Midgar Wastes of Veld--knowing exactly what Reno's going through--stepping in to support a low-key self-destructing Reno. Maybe Reno's being absolutely reckless about how he throws himself at AVALANCHE operatives, or there's an uptick in incident reports of Infantry members going missing, and after going through the paperwork to run the names against the Nibelheim/Midgar Wastes assignment, Veld realizes Reno's really out there punishing infantry as if killing enough people could bring Zack back.

Rude:
Of course I need a Rude. I don't ship them romantically, but I absolutely ship them as platonic life partners and just need any thread I can get of these two. I'm also looking for a player I really jive with to be more of a long-term roleplay partner. Please come babysit my Reno. He'll wingman for u in return.

SOLDIER:
Honestly I'm open to any suggestions/wants. I'm down for gen, shenanigans, and soft scenes of Reno learning things about Seph/Angeal/Genesis that might change his opinion or ideas of them. Cid Highwind:
I want to do scenes with these two SO bad. A younger Cid from before the Rocket Launch incident that got recruited into ShinRa. Reno hangs around the hangars so much and just. Scenes of these two getting along and bickering, Reno just absolutely annoying Cid because he respects and likes the guy, Cid dunking on Reno for all the times he's whipped Reno's ass in pilot races or skill competitions. Cid and Reno absolutely chattering over nerd engineering shit. Reno and Cid bickering because Reno keeps playing with weapon augments on his helicopter. Reno and Cid just talking over beers in the hangar about why they both like flying. Also, I'm down for scenes before/during/after VII where these two catch up again. Reno understands if there's hard feelings regarding The Highwind, but these two passingly acknowledging their shared history and being amicable.
