I don't know if this one has been suggested to you before, but may I recommend
? It's a game I've found to be a good mix of slice of life and mod-plot driven in my short experience there so far. The premise is that everyone in their own worlds starts to feel like they're living in a dream (ala the matrix) and seek for a reason to wake up. When they do, they wake up in the living city of Nautilus. Initial powers are lost
can be regained (along with any abilities your character might want or is able to learn) through something called "bending", which is essentially learning how to bend reality to your will. However, as the city itself is alive, it can
bend reality and it has the ability to override any one person's ability to bend in instances called reality storms. I've found it to be a lot of fun so far!
There is a log community as well as a community for people to use communication devices, and both get
of use. There's also a test drive if you want to see how a character will fit in, and I know our Keith would be happy to see either Shiro or Allura joining him in Nautilus.
There is a navigation post here with links to everything you need if you're interested!
