Especially with a slowburn towards the romantic. And honestly I remember reading somewhere that they almost put in a post-script scene of the two of them talking where he was all "don't worry, I didn't tell her about us" and I like that. I like that a lot. And as for Hawke/Cullen… they would just be really INTERESTING together, I think? [game/psl info]:PSL-land is where it's at for me, and I mostly want to play around with canon. And AU!canon. Specifically an Inquisitor!AU where Hawke ends up Inquisitor. I just think it would be extremely fun to explore that with Varric, and Cullen, since they're the two people she knows and has history with.
