NOTE: I live in PST. On Saturdays I sometimes work day shifts or do things when I'm off, where I don't get home until a pretty reasonable time of 5-6 pm in the evening. If I don't get to the post before I go out, I will make sure I post it when I'm home. If it's a rare day I work evening shift, and don't have time to post it before my shift, the post may go up super late (in which case I don't mind people poking to make sure it's going up.)

I have a recurring entry on google calendar that sends me reminders to do the post. Guaranteeing a set day but a flexible time the post goes up will allow me to reliably post EMP basically forever, regardless of my RL situation. As such, I will no longer be answering "will the post go up?" questions unless it's past 10 PM EST. After that, I'll let people know what's up if I'm running late. (Or act on the reminder if I forgot).

Is there a way to ask questions about multiple games, like “which sci-fi games are newbie-to-DWRP friendly?”, for example, in the game questions section, or is that section only for asking about specific games?

I know that enablemeplz probably isn’t the only place I could ask these general questions but it does seem like the friendliest one I’m aware of.

(Unless you can suggest a different place to ask these questions instead, one that isn’t rpanons or wankgate.)

You might want to see if afoolsgold is posting too many copy-paste game ads to too many characters. I’m not 100% sure that they are breaking that rule but it seems like they might be since most of their ads have basically the same text and they have been posting lots of them. So yeah, you might want to keep an eye on them.

You might want to check if iamsempai (I am not sure how many spaces are in their name or where they are) is posting too many copy-pasted ads for Nexus Crossings to too many people.

Aw man I thought I had that privated. I wanted to have it ready to go bc I'll be traveling next Saturday so I had it at least put together ahead of time. I guess all I can do now is advertise for it.

they've only done it a couple of times so far, but it looks like carrierdove is copypasting ads to people this post. might wanna give them a heads-up to at least customize them a bit more for each character before it reaches spam levels

I spoke to them anyway since it's borderline. They're someone I know personally and they're new to modding, so they're still learning the ropes on how a lot of things in dwrp operate. I explained how people prefer emp ads to be personalized and they're going to be more careful with it now that they know how it works.

Hey! I don't know if I'm just not seeing it on the primary post, but is it possible for you to make separate categories for games that accept CRAUs and fan-made AUs?

Unfortunately, this isn't really something I can reasonably do because there are a lot of different traits I could use to organize games (like pace, certain things they accept, genre, etc.) The meme would get really messy if I tried too drill down game ads to a bunch of different categories based on them.

The best thing I can suggest is using the "game questions" thread for a general question for reccs on games that have certain traits people want, or putting "accepts CRAUS"as a requirement in a character ad.

hi, mod. got a weird question. me and a friend want a three-way psl and we want to advertise for our third wheel on emp. where would we put that? we were confused on whether to put it on 1-on-1 psls (caust it's not 1-on-1) or in museboxes (cause it's not a musebox).

You can put it under 1 on 1 that just means it's person to person and not a larger musebox or game. Three people is still very person to person.
