• Hate/enemies/annoyance to love. He hates androids but I enjoy him working through that hatred. Android coworkers; coworkers who rank above him (with that power imbalance); other relationships with androids and/or characters with some sort of power imbalance. Jealousy/possessiveness one way or mutually. My kingdom for one-sided pining on Gavin’s part (or presumed one-sided, initially one-sided, etc). Toxic/abusive relationships (that get better or stay terrible).
Preferences
Memes or PSLs. Might be easier to start with a meme unless we have a specific scenario in mind.
Smut is great but totally cool with avoiding it, or fading to black.
I’m cool with exploring Gavin at different points of character development: post-peaceful android revolution where he’s learned to be less of an asshole (or whatever AU equivalent). Canon era where he is terrible. Etc.
Gen ideas
• For gen: we can try out something more relaxed like TFLN/other chatty memes.
For gen threads I like to have a CR goal in mind to work toward, even if it ends up changing/evolving as we go (which is fine! Love to see ideas evolve); e.g. “Gavin ends up kidnapped/injured/etc, or the other character does, and they realize they actually care about the other!” or “Gavin begrudgingly takes in someone who needs help, learns to really care for them and he wants to take care of them, then it turns out they’re actually an android! Gasp.” Or the reverse with the latter idea, with Gavin getting out of an abusive relationship or something and he’s the one in need of help.
Present tense prose by default, but I’ll match. I default to medium-ish tags (200-500 words), but I try to match; longer tags are awesome; shorter tags are fastest. Can boomerang with a heads-up.
