i haven't made it to alan wake yet but a former player keeps yelling at all of us to start it, so it's just a matter of time.

any of yours at fade rift! we're small, slower, and set in the dragon age (high fantasy) universe. you don't need any canon familiarity to play.

characters arrive through a magical rift between worlds, into an ongoing war against a big bad evil guy. we're plot-heavy (quarterly mod plots and smaller player events between), but it's pretty easy to take stuff at your own pace and dive into what interests you. our AC is a quarterly summary of what your character's been up to.

powers are sometimes nerfed to fit with the setting, but the mods are flexible about the stuff that's important to you to keep. canon updates happen to characters in dreams, but not physically, which seems very dune.
