These two have such good chemistry and synergy, and yet still make excellent foils to each other. Both tend towards high energy and fun-seeking, and are completely in their element when socializing with others. Both are diligent and skilled at their jobs, and know when to swing from play time to serious when on the job. Even off the field, training becomes fun competitions and games just to make all the bad stuff go away for a little while. They also compliment each other well in how they oppose eachother. Reno is more willing to do bad things for good reasons because the end justifies the means to him, and while Zack doesn't think the end justifies the means, he understands the role the Turks are in and both sees and trusts they are acting for the greater good while still holding Reno accountable and giving him a more solid anchor to push him more to the heroic side. Meanwhile Reno isn't the type to let Zack hide the weight he carries. He sees right through people easily, and he likewise understands the position Zack is in as someone people look up to. Zack will have someone to help him carry that weight(because Reno won't let him get away with carrying it on his own), and being more closely associated with the more reliable Turks gives Zack a sorely needed source of stability in his life alongside support he knows he can count on.

I'm looking for a long-term PSL that really dives into character development for these two, especially having the Turks save Zack and Cloud from Nibelheim and changing the timeline. I'm always down for those tasty angst threads, fluff during Crisis Core or Before Crisis, but mostly I really want a what-if where Zack survives and processes all of the things that's happened while dealing with the world falling apart around them.

Either way I want something long-term and meaty with a good plot to settle into and enjoy, and I'm always here for any other scenes and scenarios. I just really enjoy this ship and want someone to play it with.
