[why]: The current state of Spidey comics for the past... two decades? And the larger franchise, save for really good things like Into the Spider-Verse, just leaves me frustrated with the direction of the character. Reading tons of omnibi over the past few years and digging deep into Spidey lore has gotten me super hooked on PeterMJ. It would be great to rebuild what writers/editors (I'm looking at you Joe Quesada and Nick Lowe) actively sought to destroy. I wanna just explore the realistic emotional consequences of their lives and conflicts, and let them just feel like a real couple again. I'm interested in pushing these characters to grow without an adherence to editorial mandates for a status quo that has put Spider-Man - both the character and his mythos - in a rather depressing stasis.
[game/psl info]: By default interested in using 616 as the sandbox, but open to AUs and other ideas. Can take things to memes and/or a musebox, whatever works!
