ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. A bit specific! I'm looking for a place with the following features - a 100% match rate isn't required, but the more it covers, the more I'm interested:

• Not a sex game (non-negotiable, kid character)
• Not a pure horror game (but a bit of Creepy Shit is OK, and even a plus)
• Has some kind of hub area in which characters can lead at least vaguely normal-ish lives
• Characters have the ability to start up and run their own businesses (ideally, I'd want to run a book store)
• Regains exist in some capacity (or otherwise retaining some items from home)

In short, I'm looking for somewhere where Kosuzu can have a bookshop, possibly stock it with weird shit from back home, and then get in over her head with dangerous evil shenanigans she can't help but stick her nose into. I can't imagine I'll find the entire list in one place, but how many can I line up at once with the games that exist right now?

I don't have Reimu in a game but I did play her in empatheias a while back and I'm actually thinking of reapping! Characters can definitely run their own businesses there, Reimu was going to try to build a shrine. There aren't any regains because characters keep all their powers as long as they're not too world-breaky and I don't imagine that'll be a problem for Kosuzu unless you want to do wild things regarding the latest chapter c:

Empatheias is definitely one I have half an eye on! I've apped in and dropped out a few times, but that doesn't necessarily mean I couldn't give it one more shot with a fresh character.

Truth be told, the main reason I'd be looking for regains is so that Kosuzu can just have the Necronomicon gathering dust on a shelf somewhere in her shop.

I don't actually know if I'm going through with an impulse app for Reimu yet or not but I might. Also if you tag in the TDM or anything I'd totally tag Kosuzu there, I love their friendship a lot!!

Allow me to put in a word, in regards to this. There was recently a mod post considering skipping an round for 1 month, and last I recall it wasn't decided on which one. For the sake of game wide plot, last I remember.

Rechecked, no final decision, but it's either June or July that is being skipped. So just a thing to keep in mind.

I think thefarshore fits all your requirements!

- It's definitely not a sex game!
- Not a horror game but lends itself very well to horror elements. There's lots of monster fighting, lots of bodyhorror type stuff you can play up if you're into that, and it's heavily based on mythology/folklore themes. If you're familiar with Noragami at all then you probably know the kind of stuff that can happen.
- There are two "hub" areas, the Near Shore (basically just modern day earth) and the Far Shore (residence of the gods where PCs get to live). God characters get to create their own custom on the Far Shore side as well.
- I'm pretty sure we've got at least a couple characters running businesses already, so that's definitely allowed!
- There's a regain system in place, and I think characters can bring whatever they have on their person upon arrival. Regains are based on points gained from general activity (which is all calculated by the mods) so it's pretty easy to hoard points for small stuff.

To briefly explain the mechanics a bit, PCs are pulled into the world to serve as either Gods or Shinki. God characters are assigned a god from an existing pantheon/religion, given their own temple + a cool new power, and are also assigned a shinki as their partner. Shinki characters lose all their memories of their previous life (aka memloss is required for them, so if you're not into that you don't want to app as a shinki) and are basically the servants of the god characters. Gods can transform their shinki into a nifty weapon or tool on command, and can also sense their shinki's memories/emotions to a degree. There's a bunch of other stuff but it's much better covered by the FAQ, if you're interested at all.

If you personally would like to play with the offered characters, or The Addend meets specific preferences, say so, but as it stands, it looks like this game has just been spamming anyone that has remotely matching preferences.
