ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the Second Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / kink you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no fonts and other html that make ads super long, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canon in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ There is a "Pairings You Want to Play" section, where you can ask for castmates or crosscanon you'd like to ship with. Please format this with "[YOUR CANON] seeking [CASTMATE/OTHER CANON (if crosscanon)/SEE DESCRIPTION (if a general character type)]. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Pairings You Want to Play" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. Alongside castmates and crosscanon, you can choose to ask for OCs or general character types as well. Try not to get too wordy and please don't outline entire scenarios. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be frozen or screened. ➤ All mod responses regardless of whether they're rule breaks, correction requests (like someone posting in the wrong section), or thwapping someone for spamming copy-paste ads, have always been and will almost universally be public. - yuki loved mafuyu too much to haunt him for real but since mafuyu is sensitive to the supernatural and even has very lucid dreams of connection with the dead (can be explained as him working through his trauma but also taken literally or both), using the plot device of him being a magnet for OTHER ghosts or bad things would be interesting...especially if that residual effect won't go away unless he consciously handles his grief for yuki. in this AU i think he doesn't meet ritsuka. but i would end-game want to work music into it somehow, whether your character is a musician, a composer, or none of these and just involved in the supernatural workings of the world. AND if they are a character who would be trying to help him rid himself of the otherworldly miasma/bad karma / whatever, it would be interesting if that character fell in love with him while he's still in love with yuki (despite him being dead...) well, lots of things to play with here!

- all the art of mafuyu in the ten-years-later timeline is jaw droppingly gorgeous. and so i am self indulgently placing Model Mafuyu AU here. he'd still be his introverted, quiet self, and maybe this would rub some people the wrong way (probably.)

Looking for castmates and cross-canon! I'm completely open to writing gen against anyone from Metaphor: ReFantazio. I'm also interested in AUing Will into other Atlus canons, such as Persona, Catherine, and the Shin Megami Tensei games. (I have a section in his journal which explains the general premise I'd be running with for that, but can change things up as needed.)

I would particularly like to write Will off any of the protagonists from the Persona series! ...Okay, I do admit I mean 3/4/5 here but I promise i respect 1/2 as well. However, Metaphor was basically fantasy Persona 6 in spirit and gameplay so I just think this would be very cute. This is not for shipping purposes and more just that I would like to do silly cross-canon things like have Will join the investigation teams or Phantom Thieves, etc., get to show off his Seeker Archetype (as a Persona or as his own super special thing) — things like that. Social link hangouts! Fun friendship dates! I'm also happy to suck your character into semi-medieval Euchronia if that would spark joy, but the quality of life is a lot worse for a Japanese high school student so I don't know if I recommend that. for your character's mental health, I mean.

For castmates, I'd love to play out scenarios of all sorts: scenes set during the course of the game, scenes that happen post-game, fix-it canon divergent scenarios where nobody dies, modern-day AU shenanigans, etc. I'm very into fluff, domestic slice-of-life, and hurt/comfort, but I'm equally fond of political drama, writing background NPCs, and complicated plots. As far as ships go, I really only ship Will with Strohl and Louis — I'm pretty open to other M/M castmate ships too, if you're super big on shipping and really want to make the boys kiss, but by default, I'll keep Will's other relationships platonic or intensely intimate without actually becoming romantic unless you specifically tell me that you'd like romantic content with Will.

If you do play Strohl or Louis, I have plenty of ideas I'd like to explore! I think it'll be better for both of us if we just bounce off each other on memes for a bit before launching into a huge PSL, but if you're interested in jumping straight into something plotty, here are some ideas for threads that I'd like to have:

▮ several different AUs... i like the idea of "will and the prince are separate people," usually in a context where i'd like to explore will's early game lack of value for himself + being willing to die for the prince's safety; i kind of want to explore "will is the prince's body double" or "will is the prince's whipping boy." that being said i can also do AUs where the prince was never cursed and thus will just continues on as the prince. i have enough prince icons for this. i'd be playing both will and the prince lmao

▮ i like the idea of strohl being one of very few noble children he's allowed to have as a friend, or louis as the child soldier / prodigy general being allowed to have an audience with him. alternatively, something like louis training the prince's body double??? grius is probably pissed about that but whatever grius.

▮ obviously i'm fine with playing out anything from the OU game as well. fleshing out the soiree would be a good one for both strohl and louis. i want to believe there was dancing!!!!! give me fancy party vibes!!!! i'm also here to explore will and strohl's intense sexual tension from the very beginning of the game... cute fluffy gauntlet runner cooking and shopping, etc.

▮ the cow boyfriend strohl memes are getting to me, okay. what if strohl and will on a farm. just hang a little bell around strohl's neck and set him free in the halian pastures. also, cute post-game general strohl stuff. i feel like he got bigger??? maybe it's the cape??? but i want will to remark on how strohl's gotten ripped and get him all flustered okay. he used to bitch about stairs

▮ generally open to darker themes: noncon/dubcon from louis at any point in the story, mutually insane bad end archdemon sex, will being sold as a slave (a rare elda!!) and either purchased/liberated by louis or rescued by strohl, etc. that being said i'm typically silly and not into whump for whump's sake, so darker plots should probably have a directive we're moving toward.

▮ still other flavors of AU... louis as hythlodaeus's bastard child deeply interests me as i feel it's a very valid alternative explanation for his behavior early on in the story... this would also make him will's half-brother and i think there's a lot to explore there. the public perception of the "rightful" candidate for the throne not being crown prince. full-blooded clemar vs half-blooded clemar/elda tribal tension type shit. or it could be that they're both half clemar and half elda, but louis is the clemar-presenting one? i'm also here for half-brother incest in this scenario but it changes louis's motivations quite wildly so we'd probably have to plot a lot

▮ sometimes i think too much about the fact that the prince's initial conception of "will" — a young elda boy from the village who would have been his best friend and was strong, powerful, good with magic and a sword, etc... was just louis... i think we should do something with that. i have a lot of feelings

Coming back to this game after a long absence, and I'm once again looking for castmates...! I've actually realized that I much prefer writing assistant Wise over main-Proxy Wise, so I think I'll be proceeding with that going forward, and I'm very happy to let that impact character relationships as necessary. I would love to play out shenanigans of all sorts, especially with Belle, but please note that I'm still somewhere in 1.4 and need to catch up to the current version. As far as shipping goes, I'm broadly open to most M/M ships with castmates, but I'm not looking for anything in particular, and Wise is something of a slow burn.

Looking for castmates! I'm completely open to writing gen against anyone from Genshin Impact, as well as M/M ships and smut against most male Genshin characters. The best thing for us is to probably just go off a meme prompt and run with it, but I can cook up a menu of plot options for our characters if necessary. I'm good with anything; I just want to write some stuff that would lean into Aether's baggage as a wandering prince with a noble heart who often finds himself doing ignoble deeds. I'm particularly interested in playing out scenarios that would let us riff off Sumeru and Dragonspine lore — Liloupar and Eberhart are my problematic historical faves! — but I can do whatever interests you as well. I must admit that I've had a special desire to write more Mondstadt-based threads and would particularly love Diluc, Kaeya, or Albedo to do that, but I'm also pretty open to everyone, so please don't be shy if there's some other Traveler-related thing I can write with you!

IDEAS
So Temeraire is from a historical fantasy novel and I'm most interested in playing in a similar sort of setting.

The simplest way is to AU a character into Temeraire's setting. So if would you like Cloud Strife or Bruce Wayne to be a dragon rider in the Regency era, that's totally doable!

We could also alter another historical setting to accommodate a 20 ton dragon! Temeraire takes place during the Regency Era so things like Pride and Prejudice and Bridgerton are right there. (In fact, there's already a canon Pride and Prejudice AU.) He's also very easy to shift into other time periods or regions like the Georgian era, Victorian era, Golden Age of Piracy, American old west, Japanese Meiji restoration, and so on!

Alternatively, a latter character either AUing into Hugo's canon or just dropping in there as their vanilla self is also great! (Hollows are canonically dimensionally fucked already, very easy entry portal for straight up crossovers tbh...though you might need help getting out of them--) Or maybe we just jamjar it up with a premise we can hash out a bit beforehand, why not.

Hoyoverse shenans? I'm very familiar with HSR (and could AU Hugo in there p easily!), but only peripherally familiar with other Hoyo titles. Still, I'm happy to work with other players with more knowledge if we wanna whip up any crossovers!

-Laura does great with people who don't mind that she doesn't talk too much. She's pretty succinct and to the point at first, but the more she gets to know someone the more she'll talk. Does excellent with characters that are more outgoing than her, other people made to be weapons or that feel their only place was as a killer, and just people trying to figure out their place in the world. Or thinking about the fact that their entire life has just been jumping from one fight to the next. She'll watch your character sleep its totally not weird!
-Starfire does great with anyone, no really. Anyone. She's outgoing, nonjudgmental, sympathetic, open, and very go with the flow. Still doesn't always get human slang and human things but she tries. Especially good for encouraging other characters, doing silly things, and not understanding why it's bad to just kill the bad guys.
-Aerith is also great with pretty much anyone, although she's a bit more reserved about her own emotions and sadness than she might come across at first. Excellent for sending mixed signals, dragging your character on dates then saying don't fall in love with me, and being understanding and sympathetic to everyone except you Hojo (and mad scientists in general).

✔ Open to fix it, horror, playing with the magical side of Marvel, silly adventures, serious drama, I have so many ideas and am open to anything. Super open to AU's too, from smooshing canon's together to mermaid AU's to vampire AU's. Siren AU? Victorian era vampire AU? Lets do it all

• for emily and helena, i'm most curious in manor happenings, what occurs between matches and how everyone has to actually live in these situations. also very open to full AUs based on costumes/essences, as well as inventing wholly new ones. cards on the table, i lean towards a mix of stageplay and game to theorize what's actually going on in murder manor, and i'm interested to pick at it more.

• for mycroft, he lends himself to a variety of historical settings or otherwise, and mostly i'm just wanting to throw him around like a worm on a string to see where he ends up. i'm also willing to discuss other types of AUs or see how he would work in an existing Holmesiana canon. while this is a younger Mycroft than is usually found in those works, we can always play around with the timeline.
