ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the Second Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / kink you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no fonts and other html that make ads super long, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canon in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ There is a "Pairings You Want to Play" section, where you can ask for castmates or crosscanon you'd like to ship with. Please format this with "[YOUR CANON] seeking [CASTMATE/OTHER CANON (if crosscanon)/SEE DESCRIPTION (if a general character type)]. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Pairings You Want to Play" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. Alongside castmates and crosscanon, you can choose to ask for OCs or general character types as well. Try not to get too wordy and please don't outline entire scenarios. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game. IN GENERAL: ➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be frozen or screened. ➤ All mod responses regardless of whether they're rule breaks, correction requests (like someone posting in the wrong section), or thwapping someone for spamming copy-paste ads, have always been and will almost universally be public. If someone sends a PM and the conversation gets combative, this will also be made public and posted to the comments of the mod contact page. This is for the sake of transparency so people can judge the emp mod's communications for fairness themselves. There are times where the player's post may be screened (such as if they posted to the wrong section) but the mod's response will be left unscreened. ➤ Players may sometimes be allowed more than one strike for copy-paste ads since this is often just enthusiasm behind it, but game mods should know better. They'll get one warning for copy-paste ads, and if they spam anymore copy-paste ads after the warning, they'll be banned from the meme. ➤ The meme is for fiction-based RP only (with the only exception being involvement of fictionalized historical figures or historical settings.) Synflux is a cyberpunk, mission-based survival inspired by Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell, Akira and others set in an alternate Earth in the year 2277. Characters are organized into teams based on their personality and skill and brought by force to give the humanity in this world one last chance. Characters will be sent on missions to fight the very things that has put this world in shambles: ruthless monsters from another world. Zip up your suits, Outsiders, it's gonna be a bloody ride.

Characters can bring a mobile suit with them, too. It's downsized by half, but 30 feet is still sizeable. There's Destiny Spec II, Duel Blitz, Lightning Buster, Akatsuki, and Z'Gok (with a surprise inside). We're all post-movie for easy round up, and we've got resources a plenty to assist. Journal names ideas, icon mats, even making icons, lore dumps, fun memes, etc.

The next TDM will be the beginning of July with apps a little later. There are limited player slots to be aware of, though I don't foresee any issues. Even if someone wants to come and toss a dude there, we'd love it. Feel free to drop a line here or PM if there are any questions. c:

A "choose your own adventure" style game where you decide how little/how much you want to do/effect the premise. Focus is on exploration and character development with bits of plot as it's primarily down to the players to do as they like and effect where the game goes. It's ocean/pirate-esque themed and it sure been amusing watching Sonic try to deal with being surrounded by water. AC is only 5 comments and there is a reward system where you can turn your extra threads into points that can be used for regains, buying a boat, an island, neat stuff.

As a note, there is a cast cap at ten, so there's only two slots left. Unfortunately the game doesn't allow character dupes at this time. Next application period will require an invite from a player due to almost reaching game cap. We're happy to of course, offer one if you end up liking the premise! Pixie Led is a panfandom semi-private mission-based dark fantasy and folk horror roleplaying game with an emphasis on the more unsettling side of mythology and legend. Characters are led astray by the Fae and whisked away to their realm where they get adopted by one of the Faery Courts. Each one has a played court leader NPC and special abilities for characters to make deals to obtain. It's check-in AC and no power nerf, so there's lots of stuff to do, with optional fae body changes and opportunities for new abilities.

ART (though it’d have to be ART-drone here), Dr. Mensah, Amena, Ratthi, Pin-Lee, Arada, Overse, Gurathin, Iris - I’d love any and all of them. The Convoy could use some more scientists, as there’s plenty of Weird Shit to investigate here - magic runes, weird gravity-defying rocks, plants that heal you, cryptic radio transmissions, etc.. And then there’s the transformations, of course! Which have a fun parallel to alien remnant contamination.

I don’t currently anticipate adopting show canon if it differs significantly from the books (Aside from Sanctuary Moon) but I’ll be happy to play against folks who are show-canon, once it’s done.

Route 666 is a monster transformation road trip! Wake up in a creepy rune circle in the midst of a garage, find your vehicle, team up with the rest of the Convoy, and try not to die on the way to Nirvana, if it even exists. Each month the Convoy moves through a new biome with new monsters, fragments of story about the world, and potential hazards that affect the characters in new and monstrous ways.

There will be a Test Drive going up on the 15th for anyone playing from the books, and applications will go up on the 25th of May! Apps are every two months.

Gojo is an adorable catboy (soon to gain four additional beautiful and terrifying eyes on his face!) who is enormously traumatized from an immediately post-Shibuya canon-point and dealing with it by collecting boyfriends, apparently (calm down, Slutoru, please). Choso is a bloodroot flower with exciting new poison abilities. They're moving in together with a nice robot.

A fun element: some characters have been brainwashed to act as enforcers on behalf of the scientists, resulting in very interesting CR.

The player base is welcoming and open to different types of CR. There's plenty of negative CR in this game but no ooc drama over it. If you're looking for a game and playerbase that is down for antics in light, silly, shippy, and dark flavors, this game is for you.

[game info]: Karteria is an art-deco monster transformation game! Characters have been brought in and received a Natural Soul as a part of their introduction into the world. Karteria itself has so far been a rich world with tons of details for the intrepid or investigative character, and the world reacts to the choices of the newly Augmented arrivals. Karteria just opened in April, and it's easy to integrate into the game and play with folks!

[game info]: Kateria is a monster-transformation game set in a mid-apocalyptic setting! Here is the full navigation. This is the second month in-game, so it's still quite new and players are very open to tagging around and plotting together in my experience. There is currently an ACTIVE TDM going and people are still tagging out and I will boost any toplevels for potential canonmates like an excited cheerleader, so. [game info]: Karteria is a dark fantasy monster transformation game with psychological/body horror elements. Characters are brought in to assist in saving the world from a decline and death due to a supernatural mineral called Katalyth, which has already largely restricted the population to living behind barriers in major cities. Implantation with a Natural Soul gives characters some resistance to Katalyth and additional abilities, but at the cost of gradually corrupting their human form.
AC is 5 comments per month but comes with an AC reward system, the game's pace has been around medium in my experience so far. After this current round apps will be moving to every 2 months (events and TDMs alternate, so the TDM acts as the event the month it goes up), with the TDM dropping near the start of the month and the app round happening towards the end. The game's 2nd TDM is currently active, with reserves opening on the 19th, so there's still plenty of time for people to pop in for this round!

The whole reason I came to R666 is because it was such a cool concept for a game and it meshed so well with Buffyverse tonally that I knew it would be a good time. Obviously Buffy some castmates would have a more fun dynamic with Faith because of shared history, and I know Buffy some are more popular than others to begin with, but Buffy anybody would be cool.

Any of the OG Scooby gang, like Buffy it would be cool to throw her at a Giles because I know they kinda get a second chance in the comics, or maybe Buffy Obviously a Wesley would be fun as well just because their dynamic in Angel S4 was great, also Buffy Spike and Faith had a neat vibe and I know everybody loves that dude, or, I dunno, a Buffy hell, even somebody Faith never met- it'd still be fun to get more faces from the canon. PLS BRING ME A BUFFY

[game info]: Route 666 is a MONSTER TRUCK ROAD TRIP through the POST-APOCALYPSE with MONSTER TRANSFORMATIONS and I mean, really, what more do you need? Every character gets a kickass ride and a horrifying monster that they're slowly turning into, and then you're off to the "Mad Max but make it goth" races.

Faith's a LCW, and lately she's been turning into a little bit of a zombie corpse girl, possibly with detachable head. She's not a fan. At least she's learning some practical skills and has (somehow) made some friends, but damn she'd love to see a familiar face.

Okay maybe she wouldn't like to see all of them She wouldn't enjoy a Buffy as much as I would but still.

[game info]: Labyrinthum is a private invite only game that has elements of slice of life, action/adventure and psychological horror. Characters come depowered (except for 1 vial they wake up with that gives them a special power) but can exchange points to get powers and items returned to them! Invites can be obtained easily enough through players within the game or by asking one of the mods!

Our application round just ended but it's bimonthly and the current TDM is still super active!

[wanted]: Honestly I'd love anyone, as Spike's a Lone Canon Warrior right now. His canon point is Post S5 and Pre S6, so a Buffy would throw him for a loop. (As long as she's not staking him, he'll be happy to see her.) I would love an Angel as well. Any of the main cast would be wonderful, though I also would *adore* having a Dawn to play with. A Drusilla would also throw him for such a loop too. He's a wildcard.
[game info]: Pixie Led is check-in only for AC, and has been a very simple premise that's been very fun to play in/with. Your character is essentially kidnapped by the fae, brought to the fae's world, adopted by one of the courts, and are now their pampered pet/prisoner/something. In between 'Missions' it's slice of life and just trying to deal with your circumstances. Our May TDM goes up on the 15th, runs for both May/June, with Invites opening on the 18th. Everyone's been very fun and easy to work with and write with, and while I've been having a blast with the wacky CR Spike has been getting, I'd love a cast mate or two.

« Game Info « Duplicity is a smutty dystopia, so not too far away from the world of The Boys when you think about it? Lots of sex, lots of opportunities for characters to get themselves in trouble. Power dynamics/struggles, systemic abuse, oppression, drugs in the water supply... fun stuff!

Genuinely, it's been very fun; working with people to fight the power and looking sexy while doing it has been a blast. AC is manageable, and most people work at a medium-pace, so you're able to work through things at your own time.

The Fae yoinked our characters from their homes and 'adopted' them into courts (aka see them as pets) so everybody is doing their own thing and coping how they can. Currently in-game characters are making connections with others, exploring the area during patrols and making quiet plans for a rebellion.
