- regarding the note about psls above: i'm game to write pretty much anybody from the death note cast and feel confident in my ability to swing several from the tellius series with a bit of canon review (in particular and in descending order of preference: ranulf, soren, mist, shinon, and elincia, but honestly shoot your shot because i adore everybody from this saga...)
- no mandatory smut AC though ftb is fine; open to memloss and AU games on a case-by-case basis
- very curious to try a short-term game so long as it's happening sometime between mid-june and mid-august

📓 for light • i'd like to take him from an early post-timeskip canon point, as that's a flavor i haven't had much chance to explore. this would put him in his early twenties. he'd do best in a small-to-medium-sized game that's on the slower side just because of the sheer amount of shit that writing him requires me to know. i'm particularly keen on putting him in a faction game of any stripe -- sci-fi, fantasy, military, whatever genre so long as it isn't slice-of-life; i'm pretty burnt out on psychological/actual horror but am open to making an exception if i like the premise.
❗️ potential angle: at this point in his canon, he's nothing beyond his masks (kira, L, light-the-graduate-student, light-the-task-force-leader, etc.). for this reason, i think it would be very rewarding to put him in a situation where he's compelled to assume L's identity entirely or to reconcile with the fact that he's become an empty shell. ("but you said no psychological horror" shh...)

⚔️ for ike • i'd take him either from the end of path of radiance (17) or the end of radiant dawn (20), with a slight preference for the latter just because it's easy to accommodate in a jamjar setting (iykyk 🤪). a game of any size is fine; all genres, too, with the exception of slice-of-life because it might drive him a little bonkers. that said, i will consider literally any game if it features one or more characters from his canons, provided it doesn't have mandatory smut AC.
❗️ potential angle: i'm very interested in him coming to grips with the past that was essentially denied to him, as it's arguably in virtue of that denial that he was able to become the person he is... (a bit like soren's situation, come to think of it, lol.) and while these aren't strictly speaking "canon" as far as the recollections books go, i really like his "bittersweet" endings -- ones where he never learns the truth of his own history and as a consequence never has that pivotal heart-to-heart conversation with soren, etc., but does find meaning elsewhere (like in his travels with ranulf). ← ikesorenranulf is my ot3, btw, in case anybody is interested in psling that...

💸 for elan • he's tricky because he's a matt-from-death-note-type character -- that is, he has limited screen time; he pretty much only matters because of his relationships to other, more important characters; and most of his personality/backstory is headcanon. i'm not sure that many games would accept him, but i think hardly anyone plays from gwitch, so? maybe it's not that much of an issue... ? lol. my kingdom for any game in which he can apply with his clones that upsets the basic power relations between them. any size is fine. i have a slight preference for faction and/or sci-fi games here, or ones that lean into psychological horror.
❗️ potential angle: i'll be real, he's most interesting as a package deal with his clones, and what that package deal looks like will depend upon the game, so -- i've got nothing at the moment. if you'd like his character type around your game and have a pitch, though, do let me know!

🃏 for akira • another tricky one in that much of his voice is up to the discretion of the particular player; he's a half-blank protagonist. i don't rely on any canon beyond royal to play him, so his voice and personality are truly my own (within the limitations that the game provides). i'd take him either from the bad end to the original game where he agrees to the false god's pact or from the "true" ending to royal. any game of any size is fine; it's really just a function of seeing how he jives with the setting and existing roster, give or take any castmates. i prefer slice-of-life and similar for him.
❗️ potential angle: i am extremely interested in seeing how he might develop from having a very contractural view of intimacy to a more genuine/vulnerable/equal one. for this reason, he could be pretty interesting in a game that explicitly features a lot of contractural elements (ex., partnerships, deals, exchanges). will he buy into them? subvert them? make them his own? break away from them entirely? really depends upon the relationships he forms and the extent to which he comes to learn that people can love him regardless of what he's able to do for them.
