ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the Second Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / kink you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no fonts and other html that make ads super long, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be either frozen or screened (based on what seems right based on the content). FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL section, where you post your character's canon in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ There is a "Find Crosscanon" section, where you can talk about a character you play and and desired crosscanon for that character. Please make sure this is not too generalized a search, because just wanting general crosscanon can be accomplished with the other sections of the meme. This is for specific characters or character types you're looking for. In the subject, please list the "Looking for [canon you're looking for]" rather than your character's canon. If looking for a character type, list the character type in as few words as possible. Do not make the subject huge or I'll screen your comment. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find Crosscanon" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. This section is only for game crosscanon as in the psl section people can list their preferences. ➤ Examples of crosscanon you can search for: You play The Flash from DC Comics and your dream CR is fellow speedster Quicksilver from Marvel. Or you might play a witch and want cr with other witches in general. Or maybe you play a good character messed up by evil parents and want to play against a villain character you know has evil parents, because you know it'd lead to some interesting negative CR. ➤ There is a "Pairings You Want to Play" section, where you can ask for castmates or crosscanon you'd like to ship with. Please format this with "[YOUR CANON] seeking [CASTMATE/OTHER CANON (if crosscanon)/SEE DESCRIPTION (if a general character type)]. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Pairings You Want to Play" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. Alongside castmates and crosscanon, you can choose to ask for OCs or general character types as well. Try not to get too wordy and please don't outline entire scenarios. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be frozen or screened. Keep in mind this needs to be more specific than "this game has easy AC like you're asking for but meets none of your other requirements." Make sure you're advertising games that might click with that specific character, where a few elements fit what they're looking for. You should be thinking about the story reasons of how the character might click with the game. IN GENERAL: ➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be frozen or screened. ➤ All mod responses regardless of whether they're rule breaks, correction requests (like someone posting in the wrong section), or thwapping someone for spamming copy-paste ads, have always been and will almost universally be public. If someone sends a PM and the conversation gets combative, this will also be made public and posted to the comments of the mod contact page. This is for the sake of transparency so people can judge the emp mod's communications for fairness themselves. There are times where the player's post may be screened (such as if they posted to the wrong section) but the mod's response will be left unscreened. ➤ Players may sometimes be allowed more than one strike for copy-paste ads since this is often just enthusiasm behind it, but game mods should know better. I recently did a canon review of both games after randomly feeling the Urge to dust off this old and previously unused journal of mine :') I'm still kinda in the voice testing stage so please bear with me as I finally put this journal to use 7 years after I originally made it.

Canon and crosscanon! Tellius players, if you're out there... please hmu, I'd super love to thread with just about any character. If they don't interact in canon we can make up a reason for them to run into each other, that's what RP is for. As far as specific characters go, I'm especially interested in writing against a Sephiran, Ike, Micaiah, or a Greil.

Cross-emblem shenanigans are welcome too! Aside from the Tellius games, I'm mostly familiar with Genealogy and Fateswakening and I'm thinking of buying 3H once I finish Expedition 33 so I can see what the discourse memes are about. (If you happen play a 3H and want a thread, don't feel discouraged! We can still RP even as I'm playing through the game.)

PREFERENCES AND STUFF
★ Open to gen or shipping; my preferred ships are with Sephiran, Micaiah, and Ike. Also open to other adult characters.

What am I not looking for? Perms & Prefs / Kinks + Open post where I keep some recent meme top levels, and I'm open to talk about ideas you might have, gen or shippy or smutty!

Some specifics ideas:

• Anyone: Camp conversations and discussions about things light and airy or deep and dark. Exploring AUs where for some reason Verso sucks less and actually tries to tell the truth to his new friends, or is just forced into a situation where he has to reveal them. Pre-Fracture scenarios with various characters, AUing characters into Expedition 0 or pre-Fracture times and meet Verso when he's less depressing and more of a french-flavored fuckboy. Maelle!Ending continuity scenarios, probably deeply angsty, where DepressoVerso is the most miserable man who has ever lived, but maybe interacting with some other characters might help wake some people up, expose some truths, or instead find some new meaning in this new world.
• Fambly (real or painted): I'm especially missing some cute and painful stuff with Alicia and Clea if any of them are out there. I need Verso and his sisters being cute and/or sad, he loves them so much, pre!Fracture or otherwise. Painful reunions with post-fracture Clea also wanted. Exploring complicated feelings between real/painted family member cross-occurences, negative or positive. Also interested in exploring Verso's gradual fallout with his family, like a big angsty teenager. I'm open to incest trash, hit me.
• Gustave: What-ifs and missed connections, romantic or otherwise, Verso as a pile of guilt for various reasons. Fix-it AUs but also break-its because I love pain? Exploring jealousy wrt: Gustave as an ideal brother-figure.
• Lune: Music, questions, interrogations. Moments of comfort or maybe actual feelings. Break-it or fix-it after The Reveal, Verso probably deserves more shit than he actually got in the game lbr.
• Sciel: Moments of comfort or maybe actual feelings. Some brutal honesty in both directions in the face of Revelations, Verso actually telling her things for Reasons and working it out. Swimming. Sciel being able to read Verso in general and giving him some much deserved shit.
• Maelle: I'm really interested cute adoptive brother things and bonding early on, and also various post-reveal fallouts. Let him braid her hair, I demand it. Have interesting thoughts regarding Verso seeing Maellicia as distinct from Maelle and exploring that tension: guilt he feels about Maelle as he knew her being gone, Alicia's feelings about him now that she knows that he's a dead brother replacement goldfish, etc, or even RP magic being able to explore a post-act3 Verso interacting with Maelle as she used to be and the guilt involved. I'm also interested in exploring their dynamic *during* Maelle!Ending (its probably bad!).
• Verso: You heard me. I think characters interacting with themselves is really interesting and Verso is such a bundle of piles and lies with severe problems of selfhood and selfhatred, I think it'd be delicious. Different interpretations of Verso are only a bonus here. Sexy stuff not required, but my arms are always open for selfcest. RP magic can be how it happens, I dunno.
• Julie: Suffering!!!!!
• AUs and Things: I feel like I'm very far from exhausting the depths of canon so I've not thought much about AUs that move past the setting, but I am open to things and ideas!

Real!Verso ( HC info / Open ) as he exists outside of the canvas, interacting with your character through RP jamjar magic or through some plot scenario that can be contrived (i.e scaping the fire through the Canvas, the soul fragment just being able to do a lot more than expected). Available in pre-death or post-death varieties. Practically an OC so while I have some HC info written, but I'm open and flexible about making him work for whatever thread we have in mind. Things with him might involve me voicetesting and feeling him out. I cannot in good conscience drop this man into meme top levels, he is a spoiler atom bomb.

Some Non-Exhaustive Ideas:

• Verso: Come face your worst nightmare. Hate him for forcing you to live in his shadow, idolize him for being who you were meant to be, both at the same time and every complicated Feeling you can imagine, or just chat to him about family, because he could probably understand you better than anyone can. Also maybe make out with him, if you want?? I love selfcest bullshit, gimme.
• Fambly: Uhoh. Its actually him. What does he acutally think about you guys fighting over his old Minecraft world like this. Its probably a lot harder to project what you want onto his soul-fragment when the soul-fragment bites back. Or are you mad at him for being the reason you're stuck like this, whether or not he did it himself? Also: exploring happier times outside the Canvas, before and after and surrounding the fire. I am open to incest trash, hit me.
• Real World Scenarios: Primarily with the Dessendres for obvious reasons but I'm open to AUs, for all we know there are real Lunes and Sciels out there, gimme. We may never know what the Writers vs. the Painters are, but lets make some shit up.
• Angry vengeful wraith type Verso. Has survived, but only in a Simon-kinda-way. Here to prey on all of your doubts and insecurities especially about him, also some of your own ( like Visages ), and then also like kill you? Listen Real!Verso is in theory a SICK boss fight somewhere deep deep in the canvas, that's what this is.
• Other: Idk man. Big world out here. Hit me. I do think there's interesting potential for him interacting with any of the other Expeditioners as well (Maelle, Lune, Sciel), but I just have less specific thoughts there, but would be interested to bounce ideas off anyone interested.

+ a latent Renoir muse who needs further incubation, but, like, if anyone would like to register any interest in Daddy-flavored power-dynamic bullshit (not necessarily of the Daddy kink variety, but, like, look at him). I welcome it.

Looking for castmates and cross-canon! I'm completely open to writing gen against anyone from Metaphor: ReFantazio. I'm also interested in AUing Will into other Atlus canons, such as Persona, Catherine, and the Shin Megami Tensei games. (I have a section in his journal which explains the general premise I'd be running with for that, but can change things up as needed.)

This is kind of funny when I'm also playing a Persona protag, but I would also like to write Will off any of the protagonists from the Persona series! ...Okay, I do admit I mean 3/4/5 here but I promise I respect 1/2 as well. However, Metaphor was basically fantasy Persona in spirit and gameplay so I just think this would be very cute. This is not for shipping purposes and more just that I would like to do silly cross-canon things like have Will join the investigation teams or Phantom Thieves, etc., get to show off his Seeker Archetype (as a Persona or as his own super special thing) — things like that. Social link hangouts! Fun friendship dates! I'm also happy to suck your character into semi-medieval Euchronia if that would spark joy, but the quality of life is a lot worse for a Japanese high school student so I don't know if I recommend that. For your character's mental health, I mean.

For castmates, I'd love to play out scenarios of all sorts: scenes set during the course of the game, scenes that happen post-game, fix-it canon divergent scenarios where nobody dies, modern-day AU shenanigans, etc. I'm very into fluff, domestic slice-of-life, and hurt/comfort, but I'm equally fond of political drama, writing background NPCs, and complicated plots. As far as ships go, I really only ship Will with Strohl and Louis — I'm pretty open to other M/M castmate ships too, if you're super big on shipping and really want to make the boys kiss, but by default, I'll keep Will's other relationships platonic or intensely intimate without actually becoming romantic unless you specifically tell me that you'd like romantic content with Will.

If you do play Strohl or Louis, I have plenty of ideas I'd like to explore! I can also adapt the shippy ones to be non-shippy for other castmates. ▮ in the above type of setup, i like the idea of strohl being one of very few noble children he's allowed to have as a friend, or louis as the child soldier / prodigy general being allowed to have an audience with him. alternatively, something like louis training the prince's body double??? grius is probably pissed about that but whatever grius.

▮ obviously i'm fine with playing out anything from the OU game as well. fleshing out the soiree would be a good one for both strohl and louis. i want to believe there was dancing!!!!! give me fancy party vibes!!!!

▮ ohhh shoot i just remembered i loved the idea of like stretching out will's "turning into a human" arc a little longer? like i'd love him wrestling with it occasionally / being in pain / trying to suppress the transformation in the time period after louis messed with him but before they reached the eldan sanctum and he got his life figured out lmao. like this is catnip for strohl being the c in h/c (or spicy conflict where strohl is kind of repulsed by him but trying to work through it) but we could also have louis show up to gloat over him or whatever. honestly will was a cute human anyway. just big

▮ still other flavors of AU... louis as hythlodaeus's bastard child deeply interests me as i feel it's a very valid alternative explanation for his behavior early on in the story... this would also make him will's half-brother and i think there's a lot to explore there. the public perception of the "rightful" candidate for the throne not being crown prince... full-blooded clemar vs half-blooded clemar/elda tribal tension type shit... or it could be that they're both half clemar and half elda, but louis is fully clemar-presenting, which could give him some really interesting tribal tensions? i'm also here for half-brother incest in this scenario but it changes louis's motivations quite wildly so we'd probably have to plot a lot

▮ oh, i am also a very big fan of taking advantage of the unexplored outside world... this could be sending will & his thread partner to another country of course, but i'm also interested in fleshing out "what if another country actually did attack euchronia at the beginning of the game when the king died like some npcs were concerned about," as well as "what if another country invaded euchronia while will is king." could provide some interesting reasons for will to lean on louis's military expertise or put the newly minted general haliaetus to task

▮ i generally roll with louis being fine in a post-game scenario but i'm equally here to have him be heavily injured and scarred as is somewhat popular in the fandom... bonus points if he's so injured he has to rely on will throughout the recuperation period... bonus points if this turns into love...

Past two years since I got back into Metalocalypse and I'm still in deep...

Anyway I'm looking for all kinds of stuff, but especially now I'm looking for some post-movie scenarios, since it's so open-ended you can really get a lot of stuff out of it. I'm especially interested in concepts like Dethklok developing into full-on gods now that stuff's over, or dealing with other stupid almost-apocalypse business, bad end AUs, or just palling around. There's a bad end AU I've been thinking of involving everybody failing and they end up in The Computer. Ask me about that! I'm also always interested in some of the other ideas stemming from Brendon Small's Galaktikon II, which if you know you know. I'm always super super thirsty for castmates, of course, but cool with crosscanon too. Fun crosscanon ideas: other musicians, metalheads, and artists.

Extremely down for shipping and smut (18+). For canon purposes I can honestly ship this dude with just about any main character, including the whole band at once. Especially craving some Explosiontooth or Murdertooth, or Hammertooth for some nice angsty stuff, but you know I like all those guys. In general, really down for some feminization, petplay, transformation, and a whole lot more. Kinklist is here.

[Looking For]: As much as it's a cop-out to say, everyone. Family (and fake family) is obvious, but I'm sure we could come up with a way for others to interact. I'm super interested in AUs, digging in to the past, or throwing weird pairs of characters together to see what happens. Cross-canon with people from around the same era (late 19th/early 20th century) is also super welcome as I've recently been turned on to how awesome that can get. I'd love an Alicia (either!).

I'm here for canon divergence and would love to extend the movie timeline or explore a post-movie AU! also down to try pre-movie shenanigans with the other Saja Boys, but let's talk headcanons and such first so we know our visions align.

◇ crosscanon/medium and OCs! I am canonblind to so many things but isn't that the fun of dwrp? AUs, canonsmash, jamjars etc I am so down for them all. some easy character types to bounce off would probably be other demons and Creatures™️, demon hunters amd exorcists, people who can see the supernatural, etc that sort of vibe, but we can try and make anything work. I would prefer gen threads to test out the vibes, but I'm not opposed to shipping if the chemistry goes there!
