It was slated to end after 2 - 2.5 years, but the mods have stated that they want player action to determine endgame (and how it goes), rather than a simple time limit where they have to go 'rocks fall, everyone dies.' At this point, I'm afraid I can't give you a hard deadline, but we're closer to the middle/end than the beginning. I will say that due to the 3 OOC: 1 IC Day mechanic, there tends to be rather a lot of development that goes on in a relatively short period of time, if that helps you sort out how you'd feel about that.
