FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

[game info]: A fun semi-horror game where characters are stuck in the underground City of Hadriel, trapped by 'Gods' who use their emotions to power up themselves while they keep the city safe and, as far as our characters know, keep teleporting it away from misterious enemies who would kill everyone if they ever catch up. It's fun, it alternates some dark events (Like the current one where characters are faced by a ghost of their loved ones and have to kill it to survive) and pretty carefree ones (hot springs? check. Mopeds? Check again.).

Ac is super easy (20 network comments, 10 logs or a mix of the two with the ability to link multiple threads), the playerbase is friendly and amazing and it's great for whoever likes to throw a character in a good mix between horror and fun.

A Test Drive is currently open so... we're crossing our fingers here.

Hello there! I play Steven Universe at

empatheias, and I would absolutely love to have a Lars there! Plus there's Kingdom Hearts and Disney casts as well!

The game's a mix of slice-of-life and plot with adventure elements. Characters live on a floating island on a ruined world in which their emotions effect their environment (in pretty much any way that you can imagine!), and there are opportunities to explore the world to solve its mysteries and try to work towards healing it! Plus there's a lot of low-key and light-hearted stuff to play with too, often in the form of a wide variety of sidequests avaialble on the game's Task Board.

Apps are closed for the coming month because of a big plot, but they'll be reopening at the beginning of August if you're okay with waiting! And a new test drive should be up in a few weeks.

I know it's not quite a traditional game and is a little more old-school, but

thecityneversleeps has a Lincoln who I know would LOVE an Octavia (there's also Clarke, Bellamy and Raven). Once you app in, there's no actual formal ac unless you want to app again provided you have activity.

Welcome to the Omwi Fleet.
The Owmi, a spacefaring, nomadic civilization, have been traveling the stars for over a thousand years. That whole time, they have been searching for the remnants of their lost people, the Ibere. When their ancient society fractured long ago, the Owmi received a prophecy that said they would "find them". So far, the Owmi have been unsuccessful; but under the divine direction of their Orakalla, they press on searching the vast expanses between the stars. For belief is a powerful motivator.

However one day the unexpected happened. Stopping to refuel and gather supplies in a non-discript and uninhabited solar system, the Orakalla flared to life and declared, "They are coming," and then fell silent once again.

This caused quite the stir among the Owmi, for this surely meant they would at last be reunited with their lost people.

But, that is not what happened.

Strange people started to appear at the base of the Orakalla, strange people who were not Owmi or Ibere. Strange people who were not from this universe.

~ Game Basics ~
The Fleet is a pan-fandom game open to Canon, OC, and Canon AU characters (including CRAU) from most fandoms. It takes place in space where the setting is mostly a fleet of ships (a mix of military and civilian ships) periodically stopping at new locations. It incorporates jam-jar and slice-of-life elements, with a non-mandatory metaplot that will involve mystery, intrigue, and maybe even space battles. The game will also involve mod-driven plots and player-driven plots.

Meta powers are zeroed upon arrival, but there is a game mechanism for characters to regain their powers. Or, characters are welcome to explore various other power-gaining options.

We are smut-friendly, but not smut-centric.

The game environment is conducive to non-human characters (they are not forced to take human form), characters with unique needs, and child-aged characters.

Reserves and Applications are always open, with applications being processed every Saturday.

AC is one or two instances of play per months (5 - 10 comments minimum), with additional activity gaining characters in-game rewards.

[game info]: I realize this is a long shot, but I thought I'd give it a try.

Mask or Menace is a long-running game where your character is ported into the world, given superpowers and a job, and then is pretty much left to their own devices. You the player get to choose the superpowers and whether or not your character registers as a hero, or gets involved in the plot, or just tries to live their life. There's always something going on, and if you prefer slice of life stuff, there's plenty of that, too. Tina has the power to make anything she cooks turn out like a gourmet meal and works inspecting ~~butts~~ jeans at a clothing factory, so it's possible for them to just keep on as they normally do.

About the Game:

Maison De Portes is a pan-fandom survival horror/mystery game. The potential for death and harm to come to your characters is almost guaranteed. The game is prose-only, with a very easy activity check. We have multiple story paths, with endings to be decided by the actions of the characters. The game is slow to mid-paced, fairly small, with lots of chances for characters to work together to solve the situation they find themselves in. We are very backtag friendly and very willing to work around schedules, as we feel that RP should be fun, not an additional job. Apps and reserves are currently open! This is an amazing list, and I'd especially love to see Cassian in

sixthiterationlogs. It's a slow game most of the time with regular metaplot but a lot of downtime for shenanigans, and while it's a jamjar, it's a jamjar with a lot of mysteries to uncover. Upcoming plot is unveiling a whole new area with an exploration party, so that aspect is there. It is sort of a power loss game, but there's a point system where temp powers and other characters' powers can be bought back for a bit. Currently the Rogue One cast is Bodhi here and Baze, and Leia and Poe are also kicking around. We already have a Newt, actually, but we have Moana, so there's a bit of a Disney presence already.

Shipping, smut (especially kinky smut, but tbh I know beggers can't be choosers), anything else! I'll play Botan.

holy crap, a gokudera! Really the best person to come, since our Yamamoto is Mukuro's AU brother and Chikusa's AU best friend, lmf....

And unfortunately yes! The reserves open late in July, but until then.... If I had to guess the reason, it's probably to let some of the current cast get more involved into the plot without a new round distracting them. (The first round of characters have only had a "beginner's tutorial" fighting round against Shadows so far, and the second round have yet to "Awaken" at all.)

Still, that just gives plenty of time for any canon review you want to do, getting apps done early, and thinking about other things like what their Awakened appearance, weapons, and demon will look like!

(It might interest you to know that I chose a crossbow for Chikusa since I think him and Gokudera make interesting mirrors of each other in their respective groups.)

If you like, you're even more than welcome to friend me on plurk if you have one- I think I probably know more KHR players than anyone else, lmao (which isn't saying much) and I have the majority of the Recursion playerbase friended.
