Oh man, a Ciel.... I play Wendy at [community profile] thefarshore and Joker at [community profile] lostcarnival and, while both aren't SUPER heavy with plot although it can happen (more in TFS than LC), the AC is pretty good in both and the pace isn't difficult to keep up with either!

The Lost Carnival is a pretty chill game with VERY easy AC (although bonus AC is tricky) and some minor transformation aspects (which can become major if you want). The premise is that of a fae circus, where characters are made to work for a year and a day from debt (whether it's a debt willingly taken on or otherwise- think a deal vs breaking something). The circus hops from world to world, giving an often changing range of things to do. The playerbase is rather friendly and always willing to backtag, too.

The Far Shore The Far Shore is based off of Noragami, but you don't need to know the canon to know about the world or the game. Characters can either enter as "gods" or "shinki"- the latter being technically dead and memloss'd, but who are vital for the destruction of monsters known as ayakashi which plague the mortal world. It can often be very SOL as a game, but there are also plenty of plot moments too for those interested. The pace is pretty easy to keep up with, although events sometimes explode, but it's nothing too bad and the AC is pretty easy to do as well.

I can go into more detail for either game, if you like, and am always glad to answer questions!
