it might be a little slow for your tastes, but fade rift is a small game using dragon age's setting. if you're not setting-familiar, that's definitely not a requirement; it basically just works like generic high fantasy.
characters can be au'd in, but don't have to be — they can also just fall out of a hole in the sky straight from their canon. so you know. that's always fun (ouch)
we're very backtag friendly, and there's both an overarching plot and smaller monthly opportunities for characters to go on missions, explore, and make trouble. we aren't open for apps for rifters (the dudes who fall out of the holes in the sky) until september, but if you're interested we'd love to goof around on the tdm with you! or at least i would. so.
AC's super simple — 5 comments in a log, or 10 comments in a network, and then a bonus point system you're not actually required to care about at all. canon updates are also pretty easy, and come while your character's dreaming.
