FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

IN GENERAL:

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

[preferences]: Offer me anything but sex based. Dreamwidth only, community based (are journal based games still a thing? I'm getting back into RP since it's been awhile!).

I'm not planning to play all these characters at once, but these are the ones I feel the most comfortable offering and would love to throw a couple at some games. I've been out of RP for a few years and want to get back into it. :)

You might be interested in

driftfleet. It's a slow to medium paced, community-based game set in space. The premise is that the characters are taken there to be on a reality TV show, but the game is honestly whatever you make it, since there's regularly new planets and stations and such to check out. It can be SoL, exploration, adventure, and you have the freedom to give your characters random crack events due to their augment going haywire. I'm getting back into DWRP after a while, and it's a really chill and fun environment for someone wanting to get back into the swing of things.

We have a healthy Dragon Age cast, with a Cousland, Anders, two Hawkes, Fenris, Dorian, two Lavellans, and me, a Justice. I know that our Cousland especially wants an Alistair, and we'd love to play with you. We have a TDM here if you'd like to give it a shot, and of course, feel free to ask me any questions.

I'd definitely consider it for Alistair! Of course, if the Cousland-mun doesn't mind him being from a different Origin.

We have a number of casts that I'm sure would love you over at

entranceway! Especially your Alistair, Chloe and Persona characters. It's an old-school jamjar based on Alice in Wonderland, with an overarching modplot and player-submitted events based on character memories. It's an amazing game for newbies too (I came back here after four years off and have been here a year and a half now!) and everyone is great on backtagging :)

Would you be okay with an Alistair from a different timeline? I play him from the mage human Origin line normally. I'm happy to work similar timelines though. I have unfortunately not been able to play DA: I yet though.

my warden doesn't know much about inquisition, anyway, because she dies defeating the archdemon... so no issue there, haha...

We have a small Persona 4 cast at

thefarshore who would love a Yosuke, though any of your Personas would be welcomed there, and we also have a Komaeda from a SDR2 canonpoint for Dangan Ronpa cast. It's a medium-paced urban fantasy style game where characters enter as either new incarnations of gods, or shinki, who are weapons of gods that lose memories of their life (though these can be regained through activity points). There's a prayer/mission system so gods and shinki can help out their followers, a pretty wide variety of events, and the mods are very open to player plots on top of that.

The Test Drive is running now and reserves are open too, so it's a good time to take a look if you're interested.

This sounds really interesting! I'll give it a look and maybe throw a Persona character or Chiaki there.

if you haven't already, then you should consider

hadriel for alistair! it's a medium-sized jamjar where the characters are in a cave city controlled by the gods there, each of who represented a certain emotion. there is a good mix of the events, ranging from heavy to lighter and more fun, and we have an awesome mod team and playerbase.

we just have an inquisitor and a cole for now, but there's a warden brosca on reserve. apps are open until the 10th, and you can always toss him at the most recent test drive here! i hope you'll give it a look!

Seems Alistair is pretty popular! I'll give it a look. He's one of my characters I feel the most comfortable playing but I may give Origins another playthrough. The game sounds interesting so I'll take a look. Thanks!

If you like superheroes and cheesy 50s backdrops with some futuristic flair, you might want to look at

maskormenace. It is a large game with a lot of characters but the frequency of posts tends to be fairly slow. Activity is manageable with two proofs existing of either 8 comments to a network thread from your character, 3 comments to a log thread with your character, an entry posted by your character to either the network or the log communities, or 15 comments from your character in an in-character inbox.

I'm specifically prodding you having a look at those purse owners up there. We have Futaba, Yusuke, Akechi, Akira, Makoto, and Iwai from Persona 5. There's also an Adachi from Persona 5 and Shinjiro from Persona 3. We'd love to see Morgana (PERSONAL BIAS), Yosuke, or Akihiko!

Apps currently are open but close on the 8th, with Reserves for November opening up on the 8th. There is a TDM open and if you end up tossing someone on there, you can ping me and I will let the casts know~. You can also reply here or message me with questions!

I've actually considered this game before, but was a little intimidated. Haha. I've never played Morgana before (having only just finished the game a few months back). I might see if I can app at least one of the Persona characters this round but if not I'll definitely be finishing an app for November. :)

Our cap was just reached today 8( But! That does give you time. Reserves open on the 8th, and you can still roll up on our current TDM while waiting for the next one to drop around the 25th of this month.

That's okay, I don't think I'd have had the app finished in time. I'll look into reserving and check out the TDM! :D

If you're alright with AU and fast end, these characters would be fascinating in

recolle and a number would already have castmates. c: It blends both lighthearted and serious, and memory regains are such a blast to work with. AU workshop is soon as well, great for planning out relationships with characters both in and cross-canon.

Personally biased for a Chloe that gets to live happily before remembering everything awful. T__T But really, go for anyone!

I've actually see this place and was thinking of throwing someone in there, and I kinda have a certain love for AU ngl. Do you mean it's fast paced? I am admittedly a bit of a slow tagger, but want to improve on that and I have time now so hopefully it won't be an issue.
