SO not sure this one meets all your preferences, but it might be worth a look.
Fade Rift is a plot-focused game set in the Dragon Age (high-ish fantasy) universe. There's an AU option, but you can also bring in characters direct from their own settings.
Characters are members of (or forced to tag along with) the Inquisition, which is trying to Save the World, as ya do. To get there, there are a lot of missions, mod/player plots, and other neat stuff. If it seems like something you're into, any of your dudes could be really cool. We've got a Cosima who'd love castmates, but also a lot of us just love the Witch OOC. Magic (especially blood magic) and demon stuff is super contentious in the setting, so your FMA dudes could also be really fun.
We do have some power nerfing — if that'd be a dealbreaker on a particular character, I'd recommend checking out the Applications page to see some examples of the power limits given to accepted characters.
We've got a TDM up right now if you're interested in checking it out, and we're open for rifter (non-AU) apps from November 1-5. Best of luck finding a game!
