For Rust, I realize a lot of his canon's intrigue is the lack of clarity concerning supernatural phenomenon, but -- I reeeally want to AU him into a higher supernatural setting, involving his "visions" being some sort of untapped ability. Unless I know my character's romantic motivations with a specific character, I tend to struggle with it. I highly enjoy back and forth plot and discussion for interactions and relationship! As for smut, unless I'm posting to a smut meme, I'm likely not seeking it out. I tend to lose momentum during smut, so fade to black or forgiveness in waning interest helps.
