ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Because such worlds are Dreaming, any powers that characters possess in canon are not truly bound to them and thus do not come with them upon Awakening. The one true power that exists in the realm of the Wakened is Bending: the power to bend reality itself with willpower and diligence.

However, Bending does not lie only with the recent Wakened. There are beings – Deva and Aeons – that have had the luxury of playing with Bending for millions of years. Those who have existed before the use of The Call and have Awakened on their own. Some use this power for good: creating worlds and guarding the city of Nautilus. Others use it to seek destruction of the established multiverse and to shape it to their own liking. These beings are neither inherently good nor bad but are the products of their own journeys of existence.

The newly Wakened – the first in nine million years – have started on their own path and only time will tell just how this new world will shape them. Or how they will shape it. "

seeking: at the moment, i'm mostly looking for things with castmates to build up to infinity war! (obligatory "hey marvel where's the damn trailer" comment.) there's a big time gap between their last outing and this movie to fill in for a lot of these characters, which leaves a lot of room for playing around in, and is definitely what i'm here for

for natasha or steve, i'm interested in filling in some of the post-civil war time period — the raft breakout and afterward, being fugitives, running rogue missions; i especially love the idea of a secret avengers-esque scenario, adapted to fit into the mcu timeline. for peter or gamora, i'm mostly interested in fleshing out their relationships with the other guardians over the (several years', according to gunn and feige) gap between vol 2 and infinity war, some shenanigans here and there, and exploring how the imminent thanos threat impacts them (gamora in particular).

The game is set on a floating island above a ruined world, where characters' emotions have effects on the environment around them. There's a mix of slice-of-life and plot, with room for a variety of tones; what you take on is up to you! There are opportunities to explore the world and uncover its mysteries, as well as a task board with a variety of different quests/odd jobs that characters can take on, and of course there are regular events that play with characters’ emotions.

AC is also very simple, with ten comments (or an entry + seven comments) that can be spread across multiple links. If there are any questions about the game, feel free to ask!

[game info]: It's a fantasy game that focuses on character development and while it's mostly slice-of-life, it does do metaplot sometimes.

Characters wake up in a place called Nautilus, who were "awakened" from their worlds and are given the ability to use the ability called Bending. Which, with practice, can create practically anything and is what's needed to bring back powers (or even give themselves new powers).

They can become the "Ascended" and travel to other worlds to search for any issues and fix them.

There was a recent event where Nino, Alya and Adrien were in an AU where Nino was Chat, Alya was Ladybug and Adrien had the Fox Miraculous that went by the name Renard. So there's that.

[game info]: An old-school jamjar set in a world based on Alice in Wonderland! Events are a combo of player plots as the Mansion lets characters relive other's memories, and an overarching metaplot with lots of NPCs. Apps are always open and processed every Sunday, and AC is bimonthly so everyone backtags by at least two month's time. I've also found it to be incredibly friendly and sweet of a playerbase.

ZANZIVATA is a panfandom science fiction/fantasy game with a focus on the political machinations and intrigue of a group of very ambitious and manipulative player-driven and created NPCs. These NPCs are jockeying for a senatorial position only lately available, and are bringing in player characters from the far reaches of various universes to help them strong-arm, bribe, charm, flirt or backstab their way into power. Its events will run the gamut from whimsical parties to assassinations and the fallout thereof. There will be occurrences that ring to the tune of horror and some that are more slice of life, and the plot is largely malleable and driven by player actions.

[wanted]: LITERALLY ANYONE. Shiro, Lance, Hunk, Pidge, and Allura are top priority, but we would also love to see literally anyone who has enough background to be apped (and yes this includes villains, they can actually thrive quite nicely here). Keith is up to Season 2 Episode 8, and Coran is at the end of Season 2, but both players are caught up to the end of Season 4 of the show so we really do mean it when we say we will take anyone. Consequences are fun, okay?
[game info]: The Wake is set in Nautilus, a powerful being in which all of its residents reside. It is placed in what is essentially the center of the universe, where people "wake" from their dream-like lives to enter the true reality. If you've seen The Matrix, think of it like someone being unplugged from it.

Those who wake have the ability to bend, which is the term for shaping reality to their will. Anyone can learn this with enough practice, regain lost abilities through it, and learn to do so much more. The purpose of learning bending is to help keep every universe on its intended path, but in truth the residents of Nautilus can use these abilities however they choose. Keep in mind, however, that Nautilus is alive and can bend as well. It is a being of chaos, kind or cruel, generous or mischievous, it depends on what it feels like doing given any particular day.

I've found the game itself to be a decent balance of slice of life and plot, with events happening on a regular basis dependant on time of year and player suggestions. Enough player plots go on as well, to the point where there's basically always something going on in game. Participation in such things is always optional, as well as whether or not they'll be affected by the event itself.

Activity check is relatively relaxed, and put simply it is two pieces of the following;
12 network comments (can use multiple threads to make one activity piece)
1 network post (provided you've made an effort to reply)
1 log community participation (doesn't have to be your post)

The first month on joining the game is also a free pass for activity, requiring only a check-in.

As for what is going on with the cast? Coran is relatively new, having only arrived in Nautilus in September. I'm still trying to get him into a groove in the game, and having more familiar faces will help expedite the process for him. Keith was a lone canon warrior for nearly a year before that and has developed significantly, but he misses his friends a lot and would love to see them there. They also need to be there to tease him about his girlfriend, seriously.

Nah, it's fine. The majority of characters I play are antagonistic shits so Taako's brand of everything isn't new to me.
