FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

( game info ): Entranceway's playerbase is very friendly, and the game itself has a setting and NPCs based on the world of Alice in Wonderland. It's an old school jamjar game with events/player-plots that touch on character memories, but there is also an overarching metaplot and plenty of interaction with the NPCs. The activity check is bi-monthly and has easy requirements to meet. Applications are always open and processed every Sunday.

[wanted]: Lance and Pidge are the big ones, of course, but also high on our collective wishlist are King Alfor, Ulaz, Shay, and Lotor, and also anyone from the original Voltron or GoLion would make for hilarious shenanigans.
[game info]: Empatheias (mostly) takes place in a charming little steampunk town located on a floating island high above a ruined world, with the game's overall aim being to restore life to said ruined world with the power of our ~emotions~ because in Emp, characters' emotions can and do have tangible effects on the environment around them. The game is roughly equal parts slice of life and adventuring with lots of opportunities for shenanigans and pain both. AC is light (10 comments or 1 entry + 7 comments per month) and the game runs at roughly a medium pace with widespread backtagging.

A lot of the Voltron cast has been in the game for a good long while (over a year now for Shiro and Keith, with Hunk and Allura not too far behind), and they've gotten nice and cozy in Verens. We've got a lovely house filled with pets and everything. But Drama is on the horizon as Keith's canon update should be going through in the next couple of days and he will be coming back thinking he is dead as shit. So that's going to be fun!!!

Not that we're going to let that ruin our Christmas! Last year, Keith and Pidge stole a tree to give Shiro a surprise Christmas (the natives of Emp's setting don't celebrate the holiday, hence the theft and the surprise), and Keith will be recruiting the rest of the cast in helping him repeat this stunt. So that's going to be fun!!!

And honestly putting those two events back-to-back really tells you everything you need to know about what to expect from us.

FACT: Alternate realities exist. All of them were born into existence at the same time, in the same way, containing the same things, and just like the inhabitants of any other space that people were born into, they can only make the best of what they have.

And the inhabitants of reality 5561A have really screwed theirs up.

After discovering interdimensional travel, they immediately managed to pick a fight with the next universe over. A few hundred years later, and The Great War was over, leaving reality 5561A decimated, with only stragglers surviving on every planet in the reality. They packed up their portals and were left with only one remaining natural portal they couldn't close - their only real option to recover from the war and repopulate their dying reality.

Thus was founded Riverview Quarantine, a vast city nestled in a valley on a small moon orbiting the Capital World in reality 5561A. With the portal still active, anyone from any reality who feels, even for a fleeting moment, like they don't belong where they are can be pulled through to their new reality, where they can find a new home in a new community on any number of planets...after a pleasant 5-year stay in the Quarantine, to make sure they're not a danger to themselves or others.

Riverview is a relaxed choose-your-own-pace panfandom city game, with options for involvement in an easygoing plot that includes elements of exploration, fighting, and moderate worldbuilding. Characters may simply live their lives in the comfort of the inhabited city and develop friendships and romances, but they also have the option to explore and rebuild the abandoned parts of the city, join the city guard to help protect the city from alien predators, or go forging through the jungle looking for new areas to inhabit. The government is genuinely interested in the characters' well-being. Characters are not trapped forever, and if they were brought by mistake, the Government will do everything in its power to send them home - but it is not an easy task, picking where the portal manifests is something like steering a cyclone, and they ask that characters be patient and try to make the best of their time in the Quarantine until they can.

The game is very flexible regarding world-building when it comes to the exploration mechanics, and player plots are encouraged, as is player contribution to the setting. Sex-positive and adaptable to various playing styles, it features an AC reward system offering various incentives both ICly and OOCly for participation in the game, with extra points for threads featuring exploration, romantic content, fighting monsters, or creating mingle posts for other characters to enjoy. Players are not limited to listed rewards and can make unique requests.

I'd have to say I'd love a Gohan over at Persona: Recursion (

The game fits pretty much all your requirements -- DW-based, slow paced, small cast, plot driven, no smut or pure slice-of-life, and backtag friendly. Powers are taken away, but they are given other ones, and Gohan could definitely keep his martial arts prowess -- just maybe not the flying around and blowing things up part.

The game is based on the Persona series, but you don't necessarily need to know the canon to play. I didn't, and the friends I dragged in didn't, and there are plenty of people who are willing to be pestered with questions if need be. (Including me!)

Seriously though, DF is about whatever you want it to be! SOL? Exploration? Drama? Wacky shenanigans? Choose your own adventure! Characters are now part of a fleet of starships that fly together through the galaxy while their lives are recorded for a reality show. New systems are visited regularly, allowing exploration and activities/quests on planets, which sometimes come with mission rewards (like canon regains). If you prefer the funny side of things, sponsor drops and augments malfunctions can give your character crack effects to deal with like the old ljrp game style. Augments can also be upgraded to get your character some cool powers - they have a price though. Better start improving your ratings, bro.

The game is small and very relaxed, slow paced and medium during events. AC is super easy. Full navigation on the profile! DF requires an invitation to app but we can get you one! Apps are always open.

Note on new seasons: S3 is currently appable, and S4 becomes appable starting on Dec 13th. We're all currently 2x13 and planning to update to 4x6 soon! (Yes, including Shiro - it's been discussed with the mods and they said it's ok, we'll deal with the possible jossing if the time comes.) Of course you can choose whatever canon point you like, this is just a little blurb to let you know how we're currently standing since on-going canons can be complicated like that. ^^;

I am really enjoying it so far, especially Michael and Tilly and Stamets and... well, everyone.

Ten years before TOS puts Spock as science officer on the Enterprise under Pike, which is easy to work with. Spock's not talking to his parents but he at least has to know what's going on with Michael. (And also his parents but that's another matter.)

If we did it for AOS I'm not sure where that would even be but just imagine the pain of both of them dealing with Amanda's death and the destruction of Vulcan and everything after that....

Either option sounds appealing. Why don't we start with TOS Spock and Michael and go from there?

[game info]: TFS is based on the manga/anime Noragami, so familiarity with the series is a plus but not necessary! The gist of it is that characters are apped in as either Gods or Shinki. God characters take on the role of a god from any religion/mythology (including fictional gods!) and are given their own temple, a cool superpower of your choosing, and are assigned a shinki character to serve and protect them. Shinki characters lose all their memories on arrival (though they can regain portions of their memories by spending activity points OOCly) and are assigned to a god character, and with the help of said god character they can be transformed into a "vessel" (anything from weapons to animals to random everyday objects) that has a cool superpower of your choosing. Much more detailed info on the roles of gods/shinki can be found in the game's FAQ, but that's the short version!

The game has a very laid-back pace and a 3:1 day ratio, which is great if you ever need to take a hiatus or like to do a lot of backtagging! The genre is also a bit "choose your own adventure" in that there's a lot of options for slice of life, action, horror, missions and quests to complete, a touch of politics, etc., but you can easily choose which things you're most interested in and focus on those over others. I'm super into horror and investigations into the plot/setting, for example, so I tend to play up a lot of the more horrific aspects of the god/shinki roles when I can and focus more on investigating plot stuff ICly over other types of events.

TL;DR:
- 3:1 day ratio
- Medium/slow-paced (depends on who you tag, it's a big game)
- Elements of SoL, horror, action/missions, and an overarching game plot
- No powerloss/humanization
- OPTIONAL memloss w\ regains

Add is currently acting as the god Henir (YEAH...) and I would kill to get some castmates for him, either as fellow gods with all their memories intact or shinki for him to secretly be really upset about. Forgive the cryptid I'm replying with, I just wanted to tell you that yes, I'll absolutely wait for you! If you want I could always play Utena if you want to play anthy as well!!

The characters are just so great, I love them all which is so rare. There's always That One Character but there isn't one. Yet.

Oh god, Michael learning about the destruction of Vulcan and Amanada's death would just be so painful. Her biological parents and then Amanda? Damn.

TOS Spock it is! Did you want to set it sometime during the current Disc season or before? OR after, because hand wave magic. There's also a thing that happens in a later episode that would be a great place to thread out a conversation between Michael and Spock.

BEAUTIFUL, OK... i'll defs have to do some rewatching which might take a bit, but i'd also love to talk some ideas with you in the meantime, esp as i've seen 801 takes on their post-series reunion ranging from the realistic to the downright surreal. the big question seems to be how literally you wanna take like.... any of that wild symbolism shit! so i'd be curious to hear your spin on things.

Seeking: Both canon and cross-canon CR! I'm interested in playing off nearly everyone in canon (less interested in Shane, Andrea, or Negan), and I'm always happy to try throwing her at somebody new from outside TWD.
Verse Ideas: Currently most interested in shipping rather than gen--the exception would be gen CR with characters she knows in canon. Primarily interested in Beth at the end of her storyline rather than the beginning of it, so these are pretty much all AU ideas:

✔ Beth-lives AUs are my favourite--I love exploring the long-term ramifications of the hospital arc and fitting her into life in Alexandria and beyond.

✔ AUs where Beth still gets shot but ends up dragged into a different universe are also high on the list for me. I especially like putting her into the DCU and/or Marvel's Earth-616 (specifically the X-Men-related corners), since comic-book logic makes it easy to justify something that silly, and I like throwing in superpowers on the way.

✔ AUing her into other canons, especially if we can do some canon fusion there--most post-apocalyptic canons work well for this, ime.

✔ Just about anything lowkey spooky involving coming back to life a little screwed up--I'd rather not get into straight-up walker territory, since that doesn't leave a lot of thinking to write out on my end, but shit like clawing her way out of whatever grave they buried her in, terrible scars, suddenly waking up out in the woods someplace with feathers growing out of her skin, memory problems, anything that might be a little strange or skewed.

✔ Spooky-scary and/or Ghost and Mrs. Muir-esque "well, she's a ghost now, and you're kind of stuck with her" stuff--I'd love to have her haunt somebody.

✔ Afterlife-set threads with other dead motherfuckers.

✔ Beth/Daryl is my ship of ships, and if you're up for playing it, I'm up for playing with you. I'm also interested in cross-canon stuff, Beth/Noah, and Beth/Sasha.

✔ If you have an idea for something set in late season 4 rather than season 5 and beyond, I'm interested in that, too--for the most part, I'd like to play things after the prison's fall, however.

And, most importantly, any ideas you might have for your character. Let's explore interesting stuff together. ♥
