ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. It's got a great mix of serious events and lighthearted ones due to the different gods and what emotions they're trying to inspire, and the playerbase is very friendly. AC is 20 comments a month with log comments counting double!

- Steven has been in game for over a year now, and his current canon point is post-"Mindful Education", though I am intending to update him to the most recent episodes soon!

Because such worlds are Dreaming, any powers that characters possess in canon are not truly bound to them and thus do not come with them upon Awakening. The one true power that exists in the realm of the Wakened is Bending: the power to bend reality itself with willpower and diligence.

However, Bending does not lie only with the recent Wakened. There are beings – Deva and Aeons – that have had the luxury of playing with Bending for millions of years. Those who have existed before the use of The Call and have Awakened on their own. Some use this power for good: creating worlds and guarding the city of Nautilus. Others use it to seek destruction of the established multiverse and to shape it to their own liking. These beings are neither inherently good nor bad but are the products of their own journeys of existence.

The newly Wakened – the first in nine million years – have started on their own path and only time will tell just how this new world will shape them. Or how they will shape it. "

Miraculous Ladybug @ The Wake

[game info]: It's a fantasy game that focuses on character development and while it's mostly slice-of-life, it does do metaplot sometimes.

Characters wake up in a place called Nautilus, who were "awakened" from their worlds and are given the ability to use the ability called Bending. Which, with practice, can create practically anything and is what's needed to bring back powers (or even give themselves new powers).

They can become the "Ascended" and travel to other worlds to search for any issues and fix them.

There was a recent event where Nino, Alya and Adrien were in an AU where Nino was Chat, Alya was Ladybug and Adrien had the Fox Miraculous that went by the name Renard. So there's that.

[game info]: An old-school jamjar set in a world based on Alice in Wonderland! Events are a combo of player plots as the Mansion lets characters relive other's memories, and an overarching metaplot with lots of NPCs. Apps are always open and processed every Sunday, and AC is bimonthly so everyone backtags by at least two month's time. I've also found it to be incredibly friendly and sweet of a playerbase.

[wanted]: LITERALLY ANYONE. Shiro, Lance, Hunk, Pidge, and Allura are top priority, but we would also love to see literally anyone who has enough background to be apped (and yes this includes villains, they can actually thrive quite nicely here). Keith is up to Season 2 Episode 8, and Coran is at the end of Season 2, but both players are caught up to the end of Season 4 of the show so we really do mean it when we say we will take anyone. Consequences are fun, okay?
[game info]: The Wake is set in Nautilus, a powerful being in which all of its residents reside. It is placed in what is essentially the center of the universe, where people "wake" from their dream-like lives to enter the true reality. If you've seen The Matrix, think of it like someone being unplugged from it.

Those who wake have the ability to bend, which is the term for shaping reality to their will. Anyone can learn this with enough practice, regain lost abilities through it, and learn to do so much more. The purpose of learning bending is to help keep every universe on its intended path, but in truth the residents of Nautilus can use these abilities however they choose. Keep in mind, however, that Nautilus is alive and can bend as well. It is a being of chaos, kind or cruel, generous or mischievous, it depends on what it feels like doing given any particular day.

I've found the game itself to be a decent balance of slice of life and plot, with events happening on a regular basis dependant on time of year and player suggestions. Enough player plots go on as well, to the point where there's basically always something going on in game. Participation in such things is always optional, as well as whether or not they'll be affected by the event itself.

Activity check is relatively relaxed, and put simply it is two pieces of the following;
12 network comments (can use multiple threads to make one activity piece)
1 network post (provided you've made an effort to reply)
1 log community participation (doesn't have to be your post)

The first month on joining the game is also a free pass for activity, requiring only a check-in.

As for what is going on with the cast? Coran is relatively new, having only arrived in Nautilus in September. I'm still trying to get him into a groove in the game, and having more familiar faces will help expedite the process for him. Keith was a lone canon warrior for nearly a year before that and has developed significantly, but he misses his friends a lot and would love to see them there. They also need to be there to tease him about his girlfriend, seriously.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn @ The Far Shore

TFS is a Noragami-based game, although there's no need to know the canon, where your character arrives as either a god or a deceased spirit called a shinki, and together they fight crime!

Here are the basics:

On a practical level, while TFS is a very large game, it still manages to have a pretty relaxed feeling to it and this includes the pace. The only time it gets really fast is during events, but everyone is always happy to tag around for months on end, so don't be afraid of being late. The AC is also very easy. There is a bonus AC mechanic, but the mods tally all of that up for you so you don't have to worry about that mechanic at all!

The main mechanic involves entering your character into the game as either a god or a shinki. Gods gain a new bonus ability, the power to teleport, and access to a temple of their very own. Shinki are technically dead and thus arrive with memory loss of their life. Shinki can be "named" by a god, which allows them to turn into a magic item/animal which grants their god to use another ability. To offset this, however, shinki can use canon-based spells that are unavailable to gods, although it takes time to learn.

While being a god is the easiest and most appealing since it doesn't involve memloss, being a shinki come with its own interesting aspects as well! I'll gladly talk about either or.

The mood of the game is, for the most part... SOL but with an underlying plot/mystery. Depending on you or your character, you can either just have them mess around with being a god/dead person, or you can try to investigate some of the deeper mysteries or cozy up to the NPC gods of the heavens who run things. I think it can lean either way, honestly, and the things I've been able to get up to with Chikusa have been very different than what I'm doing with my other two characters!

Our Hibari has just re-entered the game, which makes Chikusa having been year an OOC year now, and Ken having showed up near the beginning of this year.

KINGDOM HEARTS @ EMPATHEIAS

Some of the characters have been here for a long time and are missing their family and friends a lot! Any Organization XIII baddies, Vanitas or Back Cover characters who want to stir something up would also be really awesome and intriguing to see! We always like to see what we can do with cross-canon keyblades (Riku Replica has the Treasure Trove keyblade from Snow White! Naminé can now wield a keyblade!) and are always wanting to expand on what Kingdom Hearts characters can do and bring to the game.

For example, being sad might create a raincloud over your head and being happy might make you warmer to the touch or make a light glow brighter. It can go beyond that as well such as creating emotional magic like fire, ice, healing and shields or helping plants grow by infusing them with good emotions. There is a world below the floating island that is being explored as well as various other floating islands. AC is easy, the pace is medium, plots are always developing and it’s a good mix of slice of life and high adventure.

[game info]: El Nysa is a game set after the destruction of all the worlds, with characters rescued by omnipotent beings called the Natha, where they're taken to another planet to live. But the planet doesn't promise to be as peaceful as they might hope, with two powerful factions constantly at odds with one another. Characters can choose sides, build up their reputation, or just explore the new world around them!

AC is ten comments per month, and players with high activity can collect activity points to be redeemed for regains or new powers for their character. It has a medium pace, and an ongoing plot! Unfortunately, apps recently closed, but they'll reopen in January with 60 slots available!

MoM is a medium/large game set in a world where your character is dragged away from their home world and given super powers of your choice. It encourages player plot and has great world based plots too, and everyone is super chill and friendly.

Back-tagging is a-okay and AC isn't too difficult, requiring two separate proofs a month. We also have a monthly TDM if you want to try out your characters in the setting first.

Empatheias is a game where emotions influence the environment and shape the world around you. There's some SOL, but it's mostly a plot driven game with space to run player plots. There's a lot of world building, with characters able to explore more of the world outside of the starting city. For the most part, the core of this game is the playerbase decides where they want the world to go. Pacing-wise, from my experience it sits around mid-pace, with it picking up during events. You have two options to complete AC, 1 Entry and 7 comments from elsewhere, or 10 comments added up from two threads minimum. You only need to meet half AC the first month you app in!

Cast going ons, Maya is getting deep into why her spirit channeling doesn't work, dancing lessons are...well happening between Sherlock and Naruhodou, Kay and Sebastian are helping Miles settle in and Dhurke and Apollo are still living together down in Sharnaath. Oh and Dhurke is currently plotting to have a holiday party and give out presents in secret next month.

Characters are brought to Riverview Quarantine after they feel like they don’t belong in their world. The plan is to stay there five years until they’ve proven safe to live on the planet. They can go back to their homes but only after they’ve contributed to the community as it takes time and resources to get them back.

AC is ten comments or five comments that are over 150 words in a thread. You can use points from activity to buy stuff. The game is slice of life and laid back but there can be action oriented plots. Players get to make up plots or choose from a selection. There are fast taggers and slower taggers and people in between. There are festivals every month, which has been anything from celebrating the different kinds of love, which includes carnal as the game is sex positive for 18+ characters, to mourning the dead. The test drive can be considered canon and the prompts can be used in game as well.

Recent events include everyone saving and adopting some strays for the last festival. December will have a holiday celebrating family. Ronan’s going to sit a lot of that one out because he got beat up by night horrors and is in the hospital. Adam’s not happy with him. I’m sure Adam could use someone to vent to about his idiot boyfriend. Ronan could use therapy. So, you know, the usual.

[game info]: Thisavrou is a medium-paced space exploration and survival game. Recently it's clicked into Arc III, and characters are now stranded on a station known as Avagi. It's constantly falling apart and is in need of repairs, not to mention reworking from the ground up in some areas. Every month (or close to a month, it depends), strange lights appear and open like portals into other worlds. Sometimes the visits are for trading and gaining resources- other times, characters may be asked to assist in missions or aiding a planet in some problems they have. In general, characters need to learn to work together and survive, though that doesn't always mean things run smoothly.

AC is very easy, the mods are great, and there really aren't any power nerfs (so long as you don't break the game)! Come play with us!

[game info]: Empatheias is that feelings game! It's a jamjar where character are pulled from their worlds to the floating island of Empatheias, a place where their emotions manifest themselves in the environment around them. Feeling angry? You might just start an accidental fire! Sad? That's a literal rain cloud hanging over your head! Characters are here to help balance the emotions of the world, which are personified in beings called the Arehtei. There are also opportunities to learn to harness your emotions to do cool magic! Who doesn't like magic? There's also plenty to keep your character busy with the monthly task board and events.

The game is large, but is mostly medium-paced except for during events. As for the RWBY cast specifically, there are always some kind of shenans going on, from food fights to the floor is lava. We LOVE shenans. And new friends! We're a big cast but we're a pretty chill bunch, so don't hesitate to hit us up if you have any questions!

Fairy Tail @ Genessia

[wanted]: anyone from the Fairy Tail guild itself would be wonderful! Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Gray, Wendy, Carla, Gajeel, Juvia, Elfman, Lisanna, Makarov... I could go on and on, but you get the point.

For people outside of the Fairy Tail guild, we'd love to see Jellal, anyone from Crime Sorciere, Kagura, Millianna, or any of the Spriggan Twelve (especially August, Eileen, or Brandish).

Given the people who are already in the game, any of the founding members of Fairy Tail (Hades/Precht, Warrod, Yuri Dreyar, or Zeira) could be interesting. Tartaros still has a base in this setting from when its members were there previously, so someone from there could be fun! (For the players, at least)

[game info]: Genessia is a fairly easy-going slice of life game. It's a jamjar, with the option for investigating the city and its mysteries (who sent them there, why, etc.) The city itself is divided into several zones, loosely corresponding to genres and settings of the canons (modern, sci-fi, fantasy, etc.). The game encourages player-run plots, and there are in-game elections for Guardians, people who are in charge of keeping each zone safe. More information can be found here.

The fact that a branch of the Fairy Tail and Tartaros guilds are in Genessia (built by characters who were there previously) and one of the jobs is bounty hunting (which involves a lot of odd jobs, so basically what they already do in canon) makes it really easy to adapt. At the moment, all of the Fairy Tail cast is living at the Fairy Tail guild hall, and they've managed to recruit a few new members from other worlds!

From a player's standpoint, the game is really easy to get into. Just post on the Taken list and you're good - no application necessary! As long as you post somewhat regularly, respond to the check-in every couple of months, and stay in-character for who you're playing as, you're good to go!
