FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

[game info]: This game is a reality TV show in space! Everyone is placed onto a spaceship and are given roles based on their skills - for example, Chuuya is combat based, so he was placed in security for combat and handling weapons.

There are opportunities for good vs evil! I've been in the game since April and since then, we've had a heist! It was pretty neat seeing all the thieves and other villainous (or morally grey!) characters getting together to succeed in this mission for information gathering and stealing goods. We also had an event where characters got to see inside the minds of others to learn their deepest, darkest secrets (or not, depending on the characters)!

DF is what you make it - so characters can explore the new planets they land on each month and interact with the locals, chill with their own crew mates, do good (or bad) deeds, make friends with weird creatures, or do embarrassing things for ratings!

The game is relaxed and chill with easy AC. It can vary from slow to medium, depending on the kinds of planets we're on and what things come from them. Apps are always open, so you can app at any time. It's invite only - I can get you an invite :D And players are always willing to help with invites!

Well, high school would be closer to Sakura/Syaoran's age since they're still thirteen for Recolle, but adult would potentially get him more cr with Fai? Which would probably make sense since Fai is overall the one more familiar with Holic/Yuuko and all. But yeah, I just thought I'd throw out the idea in case it might interest you. I know I'd adore more CLAMP, even if not necessarily cast for CCS. We were talking the other day on TRC/Holic and how like, if we got another Syaoran/Watanuki or Sakura they could be like. Cousins or something maybe.

recolle might interest you? It's a medium/fast paced AU game with a focus on regaining canon memories/abilities; some months can get kinda of SOL e.g. it's been low-key to accommodate for the holidays, but player plots make up for it and February will be the game's anniversary so I expect things to pick right back up soon. Reserves (required to app) open on Jan 18, and apps open on the 25th!

For Alisaie, I'm not canon familiar with Final Fantasy so I don't know if the games are connected at all, but we have characters from FFVII, XII, XIII, and XV!

I'll look into the game a bit more. The only way I could see bringing in Fujisaki would be as a god, though, because while I do enjoy memory loss things, I' not sure I'd enjoy it with someone with whom the fun is secret identity shenanigans, lol.

Hi there! Can you tell me a bit about what you like about the game? I have looked at the info before and it never really sold me, but it might just not be represented well by the available objective info. Can you tell me about the plot and events that happen? What's been going on with the current cast, and how did the last Axel leave?

recolle is an AU game (characters regain canon memories/abilities/items/etc through their time in the game) so I'm not sure if that'd interest you, but I wanted to pitch it anyways! It's medium-fast paced, erring towards fast since it's a pretty huge game, but super backtag friendly and I am biased and want to say our Persona cast is wonderful haha

I play Minato, but we also have Minako, Aigis, and Elizabeth from P3; Yu and Souji (Recolle allows two versions of customizable protagonists, hence me playing P3badend!Minato and also having a P3goodend!Minako in the game), Yosuke, Yukiko, Naoto, and Labrys from P4/A; and Akira, Ann, Yusuke, Haru, Futaba, Goro, and Iwai from P5. I would, in particular, love to play with a Junpei even if he's from Minako's timeline!!

We also have a solid Danganronpa cast with Naegi, Kirigiri, Ishimaru, Ibuki, Peko, impostor Byakuya, and Kaede!

Our next AU workshop is on January 11th, with the TDM and reserves (required to app) open on the 18th, and apps on the 25th

I think what I like most about the game is the combination of slice of life and adventure elements. I think there's a good balance of that and the chance to get into really dramatic stuff but also something silly and more relaxed. There's a lot of opportunities for growth and emotions and things like that. I've found people to be very friendly and there's lots of opportunities for CR.

As for the plot of the game, characters arrive on a floating island known as Verens, where emotions have a strong effect on the environment. For example if a character is happy the sun might come out or sparkles will appear or if they're sad, it'll rain in their area. Each character is also aligned with a God-like being known as an Arehtai, and their emotions feed into that creature as well. For example, one of the Arehtai is Elios, who governs love and hate and everything in between. The key is to keep the Arehtai balanced because going too far one way or another can cause them to have effects on the island, usually of a destructive nature. That's one example of the kinds of events.

There's also the option to explore the wider world and try to figure out what happened to it since a good chunk seems to be in ruins and we're only just discovering other cities and places like that. That's another type. Then there's the options for slice of life type events, including festivals and parties and things like that, as well as opportunities for player plots. It's pretty varied but there's a good balance. The game does speed up during event time as well.

So the current cast is Roxas, Sora, Riku Replica, Mickey, Namine and Cloud. Roxas, Sora, and Riku Replica live in the same house with a few final fantasys that have been more or less adopted by Sora. There's also a few Disney characters about. The cast has been pretty quiet lately, mostly because of the holidays. Roxas has been dealing with the fact that he knows he has holes in his memories and both he and Sora have recently learned of the existence of Xion, We previous had an Aqua who taught Namine how to use a keyblade, Sora is currently dating Squall from FF8, and I think that's where we're at mostly. The previous Axel had to drop as the mun got busy with life.

That was kind of a tl;dr but I hope that helps.

So Roxas will have no clue who she is? Will Namine? I'm kind of excited about this for Xion! Looking at the TDM and not being allowed to do new arrival stuff is hard when it is a brand new game for me, so I'll probably just toss Xion there, and not Kairi yet. Since Xion could feasibly have escaped notice and survived hiding for a few days. I love Xion, and if she is in a second game, I may break down and get her a paid..... >.> She is so anti social in the game she's in right now that she pretty much only talks to Lea, lol.

tl;dr is fine! It's just better to hear a description from players, I find, because objectively game info can feel very different from how the actual gameplay pans out. And I asked about the previous Axel mostly because I apped into an existing cast once where my predecessor had left in a kind of unpleasant manner, which made picking up where they left off difficult. Good to know that doesn't seem to be the case here.

I can say that the test drive just has prompts but really you can do whatever you want and I don't think it would be a problem.

Roxas and Sora will have an idea of who she is, but more in the sense of being told about her rather than any actual memories. Roxas knows that they were friends and both in the Organization, but that's the extent of it really. Namine probably has the most information.

empatheias for Ventus? It's medium paced and a little faster during events but I find that everyone is pretty backtag friendly. It's a game that takes place on a floating island where emotions manifest into real things. So being sad might make it rain above the character or being happy might make rainbows or lights glow brighter. We've got a decent sized KH cast and I would personally adore Ventus around for Sora to meet and interact with. Applications open tomorrow but are open once a month as well! Hope you check it out!

Hello there! Sora player here! I just wanted to pop in and fill in some stuff! Roxas and Sora do know of her name, Roxas and Namine knowing more than Sora of course. Most recently Sora asked Namine more about Xion which was mostly that she was made from his memories and that she was Roxas' friend. He feels like he wants to protect her as much as he wants to protect Roxas. Sora is from Post-3D so he's seen her face from the last cutscenes of that game.

There is only one other cross-canon character that has "met" Xion as in she saw a glimpse of her when she traveled through Sora's heart during a player plot.

As for your question about apping Kairi, I think the general guideline is that you can't app a character that would or have interacted in the canon. So I'm not sure you could app both Xion and Kairi.
