ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. what i'm after

commitment: a small-to-medium sized game with a low AC requirement
genre: adventure/sci-fi/horror are all great with me, though i'm open to almost anything
bonus: plot!! plot characters can get involved in!! me gusta. also a fan of AC points systems. also, i'v found that i'm not great at games without some form of network?

for april specifically: i had her in eudio before, and i'd love to find a game where she's just as comically ill-fitting to the theme of the game

for octavia specifically: it'd be cool if it were CRAU-friendly? not a dealbreaker though

for jack specifically: if she doesn't have something to kill, she's gonna be climbing up the walls and an absolute terror to try and socialize with. just... putting that out there

We're a new fantasy-setting game opening on January 15th, with a premise that focuses on both city intrigues and team-based salvage exploration outside the city's barrier. It'll be a good mix of event types that will allow people to control how involved they want to be in the metaplot, and some of the exploration aspects may treat into light horror area just for you, Jack

Our AC requirements are 15 comments from between 1-3 threads, and we incorporate a grace period for finishing existing threads into the new month, so it's very flexible. We do use a points system, and it's pretty easy - you get your Primary ACP for making your required activity, and you can double it up any month you want for a Bonus ACP. These go toward leveling up the new magical Talent your character gains upon arriving in game (great for chars like April who don't are from magic-less canons for extra hilarity!)

OKAY so tell me about el nysa. o: i know literally nothing about it except that it's big, but i'm also terribly easy to enable so i'm very willing to hear you out on how awesome it is

OKAY BUT basically el nysa's premise is that these super technologically advanced aliens are pulling people from other worlds just before those worlds are destroyed, and they're dumping them on a planet. it's a mix of sci-fi and fantasy. the characters are kept in stasis on a space station until they're ready to wake up (until they're apped, basically), and then the planet the natha send the characters to after that is more fantasy based. december's been a pretty chill month, and the last couple of months have been spent building up these factions that the characters will have to choose between.

as for ooc stuff! the game is very big, so there are definitely a lot of logs and stuff going up regularly, but the plot information for the month is released all at once, and people generally backtag those for a while. you can use activity in certain marked mod logs to gain reputation points, and you can use extra activity for bonuses, like weapons or powers or neat items. and there's a huge mix of characters from all sorts of different mediums, and everyone has been really cool and down for planning! i've never felt overwhelmed by the speed of the game as long as i pace myself with how many people i'm tagging.

annnd as for bellamy and clarke specifically, they've been trying to stay out of the faction crap because it hasn't really affected them yet, and there was a plague a while back that made them run themselves into the ground as usual. and ofc they've been trying to wrap their heads around the fact that there's so much food! and clothes! and shelter! weird af

no but this sounds really fun honestly, and i've been the raven to your clarke in a couple of games so that's cool there. how chill are people with backtagging? what's the AC like? and when are app rounds open? AND do i remember apps being capped/filling up in like 10 minutes one time?? or was that a different game?

people are suuuper chill with backtagging, and they've been especially chill this month. ac is two proofs, and a proof counts as a log thread with 5 comments or a network thread with 10.

AND as for apps, they did fill up really fast last time, but i think that might be because it was the first time we had a cap. they accept 60 apps at a time now, and apps open on february 2nd! the tdm goes up on the 27th.
