ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Oh my gosh Shinobu! Can I just +1 on futurology

We get a mix between heavy plot and some moments of SoL (we had a mini-mission recently that was heavier on SoL but still included chances at combat), definitely backtag-friendly and about medium-pace/steady. I've only got good things to say for both playerbase and mods.

I can recommend futurology! It's a mission-based game in which characters are recruited by an organization that aims to save worlds. I'd say it's steadily medium-pace and you can more or less set how heavy your activity is during events with toplevels and tag-outs, players are welcoming and engaging, and the mods are very responsive to the playerbase and often tuning the game.

And as my journal may suggest, I play Haise over there. Ah sorry for the edit, but I neglected to add we just got an Arima, too.

Have you considered entranceway at all? It's sort of based off Alice in Wonderland, so it's got the fantasy vibe, and it's definitely backtag friendly, so that helps. There are some memloss elements, but not really? There's occasionally short term events where characters might remember things differently for a couple days, but it's not really a memory loss game (the events are usually pulled from the player characters canon and pretty much all of them are incredibly opt out friendly).

We've got a small Jojo cast over there, and I know our Josuke would love an Okuyasu around. And I think him and Jolyne would make for fun CR as well. We've also got Giorno and Trish from Vento too, and there's a ton of other nonJojo characters I'm sure he'd get along great with.

The AC is a post and four seven comment threads every two months, which sounds like a lot, but like I said, everybody's definitely tag friendly, so it's a lot less daunting than it sounds. Oh, and we're also having a fourth wall event to celebrate the game's tenth anniversary in early September, just in case you want to check that out!

I hope you'll consider it, and I can definitely try to answer any questions you might have!

It's more on the medium/slow side, but would you be willing to check out entranceway? It's a fantasy game where characters are brought from their world to a mansion in a version of Wonderland with both metaplot events and events taken from the characters canons.

For example because we have Walking Dead characters, the mansion could face a zombie apocalypse for a few days. Or from musical canons, everyone could end up singing for a weekend. It depends on what events get submitted by the players themselves! There can be memory loss stuff involved in those events, but they're almost always temporary and resolved by the end of the event!

We've got a small cast at the moment consisting of Josuke, Giorno, Trish, and Jolyne, and everyone would love to have either another protagonist running around or a wonderful character like Reimi to interact with!

If you're interested, there's also a fourth wall event happening in early September if you're interested in taking a look at that!

Have you looked at Hadriel? We have no castmates, but a few created characters (Nick Valentine from Fallout, a synthetic OC and Iiiiii think more? Those are the two I know about anyway). I'm not sure if "set in a slightly alien city in a cave" fits the contemporary/futuristic, but they have running water and smartphones and such...

I might have poked you before because I like to poke SSSS people, but Hadriel seems to fit you bill and /chinhands at Lalli and Emil I have no SSSS person there but I'd love to see them there. no mysterious illness, just monsters =D

And at least in my experience Hadriel is excellent for building deep, solid CR. It's one of the best games for this that I've ever been in, really.
