Have you thought about Subnautica? It's a small, medium-paced game with a player cap of 50. It's mission-based and very heavily influenced by player actions. I say medium-paced, but like any game, it has boomerangers and backtaggers. It's pretty friendly for most speeds.

Currently we have Hinata (me) and Souda as Dangans, and we'd love to add more to the cast! One caveat is that they're both currently from chapter 5 -- Hinata from the beginning, Souda from the end -- so their opinion of Komaeda is. Less than positive lmao.
