ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. [game info]: Mask or Menace (MoM) is a super-hero game; characters are brought in to a world like Earth and they are given super-powers and characters asked to help AMERICA to go against Russia & Allies in a Cold war that never ended. Characters can accept and become heroes, refuse and be neutral, become vigilantes, or just downright villains. The game plot revolves around this, with spies and brainwashing, though you can always opt-out. There are a lot of player plots to be involved with as well, from serious action deal like fighting dragons, to slice-of-life like paintball wars!

Kaneki has been in game for two years and half, ever since he was Pre-Aogiri, and got canon updated along the way. He has grown a lot and in some ways he hasn't grown at all. In game he has already outed himself as a ghoul for a while now, and thus he had the chance to see that humans and ghouls REALLY can live well together if they try to understand each other. Which is perfect for OEK-Kaneki to hold on to this belief even harder. Kaneki also had the chance through the years to meet several different canon characters in different ways (from Mutsuki, Arima, Uta, Chie) and he also had the chance to face a lot of the things that happened to him so he grew up a bit, yes.

A partly slice-of-life, partly adventuring/world building game that focuses on forcing characters to deal with their emotions, which a hefty portion of the Guilty Gear cast is in dire need of, most especially Sol. Castmates can come and give him an even harder time than he is already having.

Empatheias is set on a floating island above a pretty ruined world - something that mirrors a lot about the Dangan Ronpa world - and emotions can set a huge impact upon the world around them, as they can literally manifest. There's a good mix of slice and life and plot - what you take from it is what you give and it's totally up to you which path you'd like your character to take! There are plenty of opportunities to explore the world which includes task board jobs, quests, and even excursions that allow characters to delve into the mystery, fun, and even the peculiar. Activity check is also simple, as it's either 10 comments (spread across 2+ links) or an entry and a thread with 7+ comments, so come ahead and join us! Here is our game's navigation and our current test drive. Reserves are currently open and applications will be open from the first to the seventh of June. After this app cycle, apps will be closed until August, so get them in while you can!

Our previous Kyoko Kirigiri has reserved to return this coming cycle with a post-DR3 canon point! As for the current Hope's Peak Academy students of the island, they've been adapting to life on the island and working through their issues.

Hinata, Komaeda and Sonia are from the end of DR3 (Kibou-hen), while the rest of the cast are currently from their respective games / anime series. Hinata also just recently established a business to teach talents to others and Komaeda himself is one of the Peromei representatives. In terms of ships, Hinata and Komaeda are engaged and having their wedding in July (and may have a bachelor party this coming month), Makoto Naegi is coping with Kyouko Kirigiri's current absence, and then there's the clusterfuck that's the 74th trio dealing with the truth and disappearance of Chisa Yukizome. We also have a cast Discord chat where we just hang out and have fun as well for those who do get into the game. If you need any resources, feel free to also give our Hinata player a heads up, as she's willing to make icons from the games and anime and cry over how bad the lighting is in Mirai-hen.

The Far Shore - Your character enters as either a god (ex. Athena, Anubis) or a shinki, who are servants of the gods and can transform into items with powers their god can use although this comes at the cost of their lives and memories. While it is unknown where all these "newcomers" came from, both the established Japanese gods and these newcomer gods must get used to each other. In the meantime, rebellion against the head of Heaven, Amataersu, has been known although not the perpetrators, and lately six murders have been done.... Of course, there's always the ayakashi to worry about- demonic entities which ruin human lives, and which can only be destroyed by a god wielding a shinki. Based on the Noragami series, but no canon knowledge is needed.

Persona Recrusion - A very new game! Literally started up the beginning of this month. Characters live out their normal mundane lives in the paradise-like city of Eddan... Only, with recent murders happening late at night, a curfew has been put into place, making the city a little less like paradise. Amongst all these, various characters receive a strange app on their phone and start getting flashes of memories from another life.... Based on the Persona series, but no canon knowledge needed. Sort of memloss and AU, but neither for long.

The game is set on a floating island above a ruined world, and in this game characters' emotions have effects on the environment around them. There's a mix of slice-of-life and plot, with room for a variety of tones; what you take on is up to you! There are opportunities to explore the world and discover its mysteries, as well as a task board with a variety of different quests/odd jobs that characters can take on, and of course there are events that play with characters’ emotions. AC is also very simple, with ten comments (or an entry + seven comments) that can be spread across multiple links. different recent episodeSteven is going to be in game for an entire year as of this coming month, so he misses his friends and family very much. His canon point is “Mindful Education”, and he’s started to work through some of his issues regarding his mother within the setting. I feel that this would be an interesting setting for any of the gems or humans, with the emphasis on emotional power, the missions to undertake and the use of crystals as a type of magi-technology! The game also did once have a Rose Quartz, but I do not know if she would be properly appable given the questions raised by recent canon. I would still be happy for any appable castmate(s)! Okay so it's a fucken hilarious slice-of-life IN HELL game that characters get to after their death (often lame and non-heroic, think like choking on a cheeseburger, though you can make it as cool as you want).

The game's atmosphere is relaxed and a decent mix of serious and comical, you can get a decent feel of the mood by reading the Premise, Setting and FAQ pages. The mods have been nothing but amazing so far, and they're quick to respond and usually very generous to player plots and whatever else you might want to do. There's plenty of worldbuilding to do, you can think up Hellish creatures, get embarrassing (or not) jobs, start your own businesses, SUFFER or make others do so, have your characters contract hellish STDs and whatever else.

As of right now, the Varia has obtained a frozen-over mini-manor (surprisingly helpful in Hell's smeltering heat), a van that plays a loud VOOOOIII when you press the signal, and their own smuggling business in addition to the usual dealings and extortion they were used to up topside. They also may have accidentally started a Hell gang war. Whoops.

We used to have Belphegor and Xanxus, but they are gone and Squalo is drowning his loneliness in working for the big bad (in hopes to organize another coup and have some decent fights in the meantime) and fighting in the local gladiatorial arena (why yes, he does it naked on Thursdays. Chainsaw Caesar is one hell of a show). He'll tell you he's finally having some peace and quiet but he really wants his dysfunctional family back, please and thank you. :(

The majority of the world's population in this setting has some kind of superpower, called a "quirk", and as a result there are also supervillains, superheroes, and schools to train students to become pro heroes! Characters can have any role in society they want, there's an AU workshop over here to help work out those details, and there's a TDM over here!

[game info]: Empatheias (mostly) takes place in a charming little steampunk town located on a floating island high above a ruined world, with the game's overall aim being to restore life to said ruined world with the power of our ~emotions~ because in Emp, characters' emotions can and do have tangible effects on the environment around them. The game is roughly equal parts slice of life and adventuring with lots of opportunities for shenanigans and pain both. AC is light (10 comments or 1 entry + 7 comments per month) and the game runs at roughly a medium pace with widespread backtagging.

Nothing too world-shattering has been happening with the Voltron cast lately, I'd say. Hunk and Lance were victims of the latest game plot but should be back to normal by the time apps are processed. Shiro's cross-canon love life is a fucking mess and he has no idea what he's doing. Shiro, Allura, and now Pidge all know about what happens with Shiro at the end of Season Two and have still not told the others, that's. Probably going to have to come up sooner or later. Keith's been learning how to sword better from a sparkly Victorian who's going to finally reveal that he's a former serial killer in the next couple of months so that's going to be some fun emotional devastation.

There's always plenty to do and lots to get involved in, and I always find myself with a number of things I could get involved with. Plus, due to the emotion-influenced setting, there are plenty of opportunities for Hearts characters to apply their Somatic abilities. I've ended up with a lot of Spiria Link threads over the months I've been playing there!

DRAGON BALL @ THE LEGION

[wanted]: I could just say "everyone" and leave it at that, but any of the Son family (Chi-Chi, Goten, Pan, etc.) would be fantastic! Any version of Trunks (main timeline, Future Trunks, Xenoverse...) would be cool too, and Vegeta and Bulma seem like they'd work well in this setting.

Piccolo would be great to have in the game, since he'd pretty much be Space Batman. Having Krillin and Android 18 around would be interesting as well - Goku can't go Super Saiyan in this setting (I figured it would make him more likely to work as part of a team), so the change in that dynamic could be interesting to play with!

Last, but certainly not least, we would love to see Mr. Satan. Seeing as the premise involves characters getting super-powers, there's all sorts of things that could be done with him, like making him ridiculously over-powered, or giving him something that isn't much use, like flight (everyone gets a ring that lets them fly), and watch him get by regardless with the skills that he has. It seems like it would be so much fun to have him in the game.

[game info]: the Legion is set in the 30th century of the DC Comics universe, long after heroes like the Justice League have faded into memory. However, knowledge of the Legion of Superheroes comics isn't a requirement. To combat a menace to time itself, the Legion is calling upon heroes from across various universes to help.

Activity check is once every two months - for your first activity check, you just need to post that you're there, and beyond that, you need several threads with a total of 10 or 20 comments (ex. five or ten for you, and five or ten for the person who you're commenting with). There's lots of combinations, but it's all covered here.

Here's more information as to the sorts of characters and abilities that can be accepted. Reserves and apps for new players are open at the moment, and there is a test drive to try if you want to try out your character in the setting.

FAIRY TAIL @ GENESSIA

For people outside of the Fairy Tail guild, we'd love to see Jellal, anyone from Crime Sorciere, Kagura, Millianna, or any of the Spriggan Twelve (especially August and Irene). Given the people who are already in the game, any of the founding members of Fairy Tail (Hades/Precht, Warrod, Yuri Dreyar, or Zeira) could be interesting. Tartaros still has a base in this setting from when its members were there previously, so someone from there could be fun! (For the players, at least)

[game info]: Genessia is a fairly easy-going slice of life game. It's a jamjar, with the option for investigating the city and its mysteries (who sent them there, why, etc.) The city itself is divided into several zones, loosely corresponding to genres and settings of the canons (modern, sci-fi, fantasy, etc.). The game encourages player-run plots, and there are in-game elections for Guardians, people who are jn charge of keeping each zone safe. More information can be found here.

The fact that a branch of the Fairy Tail and Tartaros guilds are in Genessia (built by characters who were there previously) and one of the jobs is bounty hunting (which involves a lot of odd jobs, so basically what they already do in canon) makes it really easy to adapt. At the moment, Mavis, Zeref, and Erza are all living at the Fairy Tail guild hall, which can be a little awkward at times, to say the least.

From a player's standpoint, the game is really easy to get into. Just post on the Taken list and you're good - no application necessary! As long as you post somewhat regularly, respond to the check-in every couple of months, and stay in-character for who you're playing as, you're good to go!

Characters are pulled in during a time of feeling they don't belong, whatever that means to them, and are living and working in the city as payment to be sent home one day, maybe. The game is largely make-your-own-fun and slice-of-life, with options to explore the jungle around the city and beyond on quests/missions. You get bonus reward points to trade for cool stuff for doing that, too.

[game info]: The game is a sci-fi setting, taking place on a fleet of ships that travel around a bunch of different galaxies. Characters' powers are zeroed upon arrival, and Lily's just recently received her wand back and she's so happy about that. But as much as she's happy to have access to her magic again, she misses having someone from her world she can even just talk to about stuff from her world.

Currently the fleet of ships has stopped at a mining colony where there are markets to buy things and there are far more alien species than Lily thought was ever possible in the universe (even though she comes from a world with many different non-human sentient life.)

Jane Kirk (a canon Rule!63 AU of James Kirk of Star Trek) has taken Lily in as a kind of younger sister - which cannot be good for anyone involved. But Lily likes it because Jane is awesome and encourages her to try new (dangerous) things. Someone needs to come in to put things in order... or add to the havoc.

[game info]: Empatheias is a relatively large game with a mostly medium pace, although it can be fast during certain events! It mostly takes place on a floating island, but the world itself centers around emotions, where people can affect the environment through them (ie happiness can cause flowers to bloom or anger can make buildings crack). Each person is aligned with an Arehtei, who are 'gods' that represent various emotions. While the game itself is a lot of slice-of-life, there are many chances to go on adventures and take on tasks that involve fixing the broken world around them or figuring out the mystery surrounding everything.

Our cast definitely deals with a lot of Skywalker drama, but there's still a lot of discussion and focus on the more 'military' side of the Republic/Empire. That tension definitely drives a lot of CR for us too.

Just to note, applications are open from June 1st to June 7th and don't open again until August!

[game info]: Currently the fleet is stopped at a mining colony and it's clearly just one tiny step above slavery, in Anakin's opinion. The miners are kept in a state of perpetual poverty with no means of getting off the colony to ensure their dependency on the colony owners. And clearly something nefarious is going on in this place.

However, Anakin is kind of in a state of exile from the rest of the characters given that his future self is who he is, and the other cast members are comfortable with that future person (he basically only has bitty Leia on his side). So he has no one to share his thoughts with about the terrible colony conditions. More cast who are comfortable with him would be great, then he can start a colonist insurrection.

[game info]: Empatheias is an adventure/slice of life where characters wake up on a floating island where emotions can actively affect the environment (think, if someone's sad, it starts raining). They have the option of exploring the world and trying to figure out why they are there, as well as just exploring their new surroundings. There's a lot of opportunity for a lot of things.

Mostly the cast has been learning to adjust to each other. There was a bit of an incident with mirror aquas running around, and plans for a sparring log later in June.

If you are interested in joining us, this would be the app round to do it as apps will be closed for the June cycle, meaning you won't be able to join until August if you miss it. There is a test drive up and reserves are open.
