FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. [wanted]: I will literally do anything for a Davenport at this point. I have icons. I will give you paid time. I swear, literally anything, please assist. Our Lydia is also willing to do the same for an Edward so the Wonderland Twins can really terrorize the place. I'm sure our Carey would also appreciate a Killian, and I would looove to see more one arc NPCs (Hurley, Roswell, ect). But honestly, please, someone bring Davenport, we're so close to a full 7 bird set and I'd die on the ground.
[game info]: A horror/jamjaresque game where characters are stuck in a city controlled by a pantheon of emotion-based gods. Arc 2 just ended and we're finally out of the hellcave, and it's looking like there's going to be some exploration in the coming future with the city moving between planets! The NPCs are engaging, there's so much room to interact with the metaplot, and it's just wicked fun. AC is 20 comments a month with log comments counting double!

[game info]: Empatheias takes place on a floating island where emotions can effect the world around them. For example, if you're happy you might cause flowers to grow or sparkles to appear, but if you're angry you might make something explode. The game is a mix of slice of life and action/adventure, as characters can settle into a life in the city or go on excursions to find out what's happening in the wider world.
Most of the Cast lives together and is dealing with shenanigans and how to coexist with each other. Which is going well for the most part.

FAIRY TAIL @ GENESSIA

[wanted]: anyone from the Fairy Tail guild itself would be wonderful! Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Gray, Wendy, Carla, Gajeel, Juvia, Elfman, Lisanna, Makarov... I could go on and on, but you get the point.
For people outside of the Fairy Tail guild, we'd love to see Jellal, anyone from Crime Sorciere, Kagura, Millianna, or any of the Spriggan Twelve (especially August, Eileen, or Brandish).
Given the people who are already in the game, any of the founding members of Fairy Tail (Hades/Precht, Warrod, Yuri Dreyar, or Zeira) could be interesting. Tartaros still has a base in this setting from when its members were there previously, so someone from there could be fun! (For the players, at least)
[game info]: Genessia is a fairly easy-going slice of life game. It's a jamjar, with the option for investigating the city and its mysteries (who sent them there, why, etc.) The city itself is divided into several zones, loosely corresponding to genres and settings of the canons (modern, sci-fi, fantasy, etc.). The game encourages player-run plots, and there are in-game elections for Guardians, people who are in charge of keeping each zone safe. More information can be found here.
The fact that a branch of the Fairy Tail and Tartaros guilds are in Genessia (built by characters who were there previously) and one of the jobs is bounty hunting (which involves a lot of odd jobs, so basically what they already do in canon) makes it really easy to adapt. At the moment, all of the Fairy Tail cast is living at the Fairy Tail guild hall, and they've managed to recruit a few new members from other worlds!
From a player's standpoint, the game is really easy to get into. Just post on the Taken list and you're good - no application necessary! As long as you post somewhat regularly, respond to the check-in every couple of months, and stay in-character for who you're playing as, you're good to go!
THE WALKING DEAD @ MASK OR MENACE

[wanted]: ANYONE. Obviously, I'd especially love characters with ties to Beth (Maggie, Hershel, Glenn, Daryl, Rick, Noah, Carl, &cet.), but I'd also love characters she's never met! Tell her about the future. Bring me Enid and Jesus and Tara and Rosita and everyone else, pals.
[game info]: Mask or Menace is a pretty straightforward premise: characters are given superpowers, dumped in a jamjar. The game itself is a mix of slice-of-life and Cold War-esque metaplot, with room for characters to choose just how involved they'll get in any one aspect. I find it fun for TWD characters because it serves as a sort of respite from the misery and deprivation of their canon; when you aren't half-starving, there's a little more time to process what happened to you when you were.

[wanted]: Anyone? Seriously though I'd love to see the rest of the thieves, and I'd give my palace for some of the adults. As for P4, I'd die to have any one honestly. I'd love to see some classic purse ownas too.
[game info]: Your character is ported in and given a file with all of their info and SURPRISE you have powers. Whether you choose to use them for good, evil, or nothing at all is purely up to you. DRAGON BALL @ GENESSIA

[wanted]: any family members of the current cast would be greatly appreciated. Krillin would be fantastic, given his interactions with Goku and the Androids (especially in Super), and Vegeta and Trunks (any version) would also be appreciated! I'd love to see Chi-Chi, Gohan, (especially now that Cell's in the game) or Goten, and any of the Universe 6 Saiyans would make things interesting.
Any of the main cast that I haven't mentioned would be great, of course, and villains could be fun. With Cell joining the game recently, and the twins already there, Android 16, Dr. Gero, or even Android 21 could be fun! As far as long-shots go, I've always wanted to play Goku off of Roshi (I really like their dynamic, and Super helped to build that up), and any of Goku's Saiyan family would be great, since that side of things doesn't really get explored outside of video games.
[game info]: Genessia is a slice of life game set in five different cities which are connected by portals. Nobody knows why they've been brought there, though characters have the option of trying to figure that out. Otherwise, there are mod plots and player plots that happen regularly. As a whole, the game is quite easy-going, with a lot of room for creativity. More information about it can be found here.
Applications and Activity Check are both insanely easy. For applications, you post your character's name to the taken list, and you're good to go. Activity Check happens once every few months, and you just post that you're still interested in playing as that character. As long as you've posted regularly and are staying in character, that's all you need to worry about.

Empatheias is a game where emotions influence the environment and shape the world around you. There's some SOL, but it's mostly a plot driven game with space to run player plots. There's a lot of world building, with characters able to explore more of the world outside of the starting city. For the most part, the core of this game is the playerbase decides where they want the world to go. Pacing-wise, from my experience it sits around mid-pace, with it picking up during events. You have two options to complete AC, 1 Entry and 7 comments from elsewhere, or 10 comments added up from two threads minimum. You only need to meet half AC the first month you app in!
Currently Reserves are open and applications will open between February 1st-4th and this is our current Test Drive!

[game info]: Empatheias is a magical steampunk setting that primarily takes place on the titular floating island of Empatheias, hanging over the ruined surface world below that was destroyed due to war. Due to the downright magical effects emotions have in this world, players are not only able to explore, but also shape the world itself; too much jealousy could cause plants that reach out possessively to capture people, only to be banished by feelings of appreciation instead, to say nothing of the individual effects you as a player can choose to occur whenever your character feels a particular way.
OOCly, Empatheias is a large, medium-paced game with plenty of opportunity for both slice of life and plot aspects - plot-wise, there are many characters who are seeking to both heal the ruined world below as well as discover the truth of what happened to bring it to such a state. Some characters (the Spiral cast included) have businesses they run on the side for more slice of life opportunities; that said, it's perfectly acceptable to focus on one or the other, just as it's also entirely possible to do a bit of both! A character who adventures can definitely work at a bakery so they can actually afford things.
As for the Spiral cast specifically, Hizumi and Ayumu have been in the game for a number of years and are both going to be nineteen as of December first! They are also secretly dating. Thanks to the power emotions have in this world, they were able to break the curse on themselves and are no longer God nor the Devil. They're both hoping for the Blade Children to show up so that they can teach them the same method to save themselves, as it requires one to channel the emotions gathered over the course of at least four months. They run a cat café with Hiyono and have a number of cats named after the Blade Children, and all three are involved in both slice of life antics as well as plot! The main thing of note is that Hizumi and Ayumu are from chapter 58 and in an attempt not to break everything, we'd prefer that characters are apped from prior to Hizumi Doing A Murder (or even from Spiral: Alive, that's perfectly cool too!)

YU-GI-OH (ARC-V/GX/ZEXAL/ALL SERIES) @ THE FAR SHORE

[game's current cast]: Shun Kurosaki from ARC-V, Fubuki Tenjoin from GX
[who I play]: Shun! He's at Episode 109 canonpoint so quite a bit earlier than end-of-series.
[wanted]: Yuya, Yuto, Yuzu, Ruri, Serena...any of their counterparts, those are just the ones I'd be really pleased to see, and honestly I'd just like any ARC-V castmates at all. Since Shun's universe is pretty much AU Zexal, I'd also love some Zexal players if I could get them, particularly Kaito, Shark, Droite, Anna or Rio, but that's more a matter of who my personal favs are so really I'd love anyone.
[game info]: The Far Shore is set in the Japanese Heavens and is an urban fantasy game where characters come in as either new incarnations of gods or as shinki, the weapons of gods. Magical shenanigans/dark spooky things happen, characters can go on prayers to help their followers and get AC points, the mods are really open to player plots/player-run events so it's a really easy game to get the most out of. February round is actually a shinki-only round for balance purposes, but potential gods can still TDM for samples if they're interested!
Bungou Stray Dogs @ Drift Fleet

[wanted]: Dazai, Akutagawa, Yosano, anyone would be neat! Both mafias and detectives would be great in this game!
[game info]: This game is a reality TV show in space! Everyone is placed onto a spaceship and are given roles based on their skills - for example, Chuuya is combat based, so he was placed in security for combat and handling weapons.
DF is what you make it - so characters can explore the new planets they land on each month and interact with the locals, chill with their own crew mates, do good (or bad) deeds, make friends with weird creatures, or just about anything for ratings!
The game is relaxed and chill with easy AC. It can vary from slow to medium, depending on the kinds of planets we're on and what things come from them. Apps are always open, so you can app at any time. It's invite only - I can get you an invite :D And players are always willing to help with invites!

Memory loss and power nerfing are both optional, and the game explores the silly, slice of life aspects of the series as well as the darker, more serious ones.
FINAL FANTASY XIII @ THE FAR SHORE

[game info]: Set in modern-day Japan, characters are brought to the Far Shore, this setting's equivalent of Heaven, in order to replace the various pantheons who have been disappearing of late. We're generally a slow-to-medium paced game, with mingle and event posts that go up roughly twice a month. The game is extremely back-tag friendly, and swaps between SoL and action, depending on the event.
TFS also gives the unique opportunity to either play a character with memories and (as long as they aren't game-breaking) all powers in tact as a god or goddess, or to play out mem loss as a spirit (shinki). Currently, both Lightning and Serah are in this game as goddesses, and Snow as a shinki!

The main events of the game take place in modern day Los Angeles, with the Phantom Thieves acting as a larger group, taking hearts all over. The first palace log opens up on FEBRUARY 1, and reserves open a week after that, on FEBRUARY 8.

Empatheias is set on a floating island above a ruined wasteland of a world, where their emotions can have effects on the environment around them, both good and bad! The game is a mix of slice of life and plot, with a scenario constantly unfolding in the background while the characters go about their lives, all the while the world constantly growing and changing as a result of their actions! There are tasks to tackle, excursions to go on, and festivals to attend. It's very much a decide what you want to do kind of game, with no pressure to get involved in the meta plot if you kind of just want to do your own stuff.

[wanted]: Anyone, honestly-- imperials, rebel scum, Legends characters, etc! The Last Jedi characters are now applicable, and I'd personally love to see more people from that movie!
[game info]: Empatheias is a relatively large game with a mostly medium pace. It mostly takes place on a floating island, but the world itself centers around emotions, where people can affect the environment through them (ie happiness can cause flowers to bloom or anger can make buildings crack). Each person is aligned with an Arehtei, who are 'gods' that represent various emotions. While the game itself is a lot of slice-of-life, there are many chances to go on adventures and take on tasks that involve fixing the broken world around them or figuring out the mystery surrounding everything.

Fairly new, very chill, lots of opportunity to do your own thing, no power nerfs (worldbreaking shit notwithstanding), a modplot coming up on the 31st and a new TDM dropping February 1st. Anyone is welcome and wanted, the characters listed are just off the top of the dome from a quick poll of the Kilgrave and Punisher players and myself (and in no particular order).

[game info]: El Nysa is a choose-your-own-adventure-style game where characters are sent to live on a high fantasy-esque planet after being rescued from an interdimensional force called the Storm that destroyed their home world. There's a mixture of sci-fi and fantasy elements with politics and questing and all that good stuff! You can read more about the premise here and the current test drive just went up here! The next application round begins on 2/2.
