January EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened. IN GENERAL: ➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened. MOD CONTACT: If there's trouble, tell me HERE, please! WE THE LOST - A CRAU GAME
Waking up somewhere new isn't that surprising anymore, is it?
Not when you're the Lost.
You've awakened in new worlds,
battled monsters,
staged revolutions,
and struggled to stay alive.
You've done far more than the god Zephyr knows or ever will know.
All Zephyr truly knows now is that you are in need.
They see you and know you have no home.
This is why you're here. You need a home, and Zephyr needs believers.
Can you work together to build this new world?
We the Lost is primarily a healing game, but while the characters learn and grow; so too does the god that brought them here. Each choice and interaction that your character makes affects the way that Zephyr ultimately views the world. This world is nothing without you.
Characters will encounter the child god, Zephyr, face-to-face and help them grow into a full-fledged god. Zephyr has a name and a form, but they still have much left to figure out about themselves--with the help of the people that they bring in. There are also several other gods who occasionally look in on the Meadous and have a tendency to meddle.
Mod-run events occur roughly once a month and range from silly (e.g., a kite flying festival) to serious and dangerous (e.g., gods tampering with the negative emotions of characters).
Will your character come to accept the Meadous as their new home? Or will they try to find some means of escape? Will they take advantage of the wishing pond? Zephyr can grant many desires: healing characters from their previous games, restoring magic and items, and much more.
We are hosting a 4th Wall event February 14 - 24th. All characters (straight from canon, CRAU, whathaveyou) are welcome! Current details are located HERE!
THE WAKE
You may try to explain this to your friends and loved ones ... but you're unable to get the words out. So you try and break from the routine. If you're a hero, you may try to hurt someone; a villain, you may try to do some good. But you can't. Your life is on rails, and you can't break free. You're a prisoner, trapped in your own body, in a life that no longer seems to have purpose.
Until you hear a voice. Wake, says the voice. And that is all. You reach out with your heart towards that voice; that voice which promises freedom, escape....
And then you Wake.
Welcome to Nautilus, the City of Change. A place where willpower is the key to true strength, and you can change the very fabric of reality. Welcome to a city where even the most average can become extraordinary. Welcome to the real world.
There are many tasks awaiting you in this city: some great, some small. What will you choose to do with the endless possibilities at your feet?
Come, Dreamer. Bring it closer to the Wake.

Sixth Iteration
Sixth Iteration is driven by two sides of the same coin: The unwitting characters thrust into a survival scenario, and the Observers who placed them there. As a player, you portray both.
Using a vivid, lifelike simulation, the Observers have been preparing their subjects for their eventual life on a new planet. They test their physical, mental and emotional fortitude, stoke their curiosity and test their patience. How far can they be pushed before they break? What is the secret formula to balance productivity and morale?
Meanwhile, the characters are simply trying to find their way through — To survive, to thrive, to find any answers to why they're there or how to get home. Some days it's easier than others. And soon, the simulation will end and the stakes will be raised much higher.
LIFEAFTR || A PANFANDOM EXPLORATION GAME
They make the heart bigger.
You rouse to a splash of sea salt drying on your skin. A haze of glass-white sand glitters in your vision, dappled by lush palms and thick, curling foliage that disappears into a jungle of deep jade. From behind, crackling wood and sawing rope groan from a mangled life raft ran ashore. A petering wash of tide over pebbled sand fills your ears as you struggle to gain your bearings in a vast portrait of tropical color.
Perhaps you have arrived here without warning, plucked from a world you hadn’t expected to so suddenly depart. Perhaps you had met your final destination long before you stirred upon these crystal shores. Your guide, the Storyteller, does not discriminate. You’re here now, and the taste of the ocean is thick on your tongue, the faint stirring of warm wind soft against your back as it almost seems to encourage you forth into the island’s vibrant understory.
Welcome to the archipelago of LifeAftr. Your story is about to begin anew.
Lifeaftr is a panfandom game set in an archipelago of the same name, with a heavy focus on survival, exploration, and worldbuilding. Both player and IC influence are strong factors in shaping the dynamic setting, as well as the incorporation of RNG elements. Primary genres are survival and adventure, with genre shifts circling a broad range in accordance with plots and events.
AINMHIAN
AINMHIAN
You awake in an unfamiliar bed, surrounded by stone walls, a warm, finely made duvet tugged up to your chin and tucked around your sleeping body. There's a faint scent in the air, of lush greenery, fallen leaves, moss and sweet nectar, and the sound of a quiet, steady chime. A candle burns on a nearby table, next to a small leather volume--the source, you quickly discover, of the sound.
You stir, and realize you're dressed only in a shirt and trousers, thin and simply made. Your belongings, it would seem, are gone. Your mind feels clouded, your memory vague and misty around the edges. How did you get here? You simply can't remember.
Should you investigate the chiming, you find a flat, clear crystal inlaid into the cover of the book. At first it reflects only your face. Then it shifts and glows, and another face takes the place of your own. Beautiful and ethereal, or dark and shadowed, or far, far from human in appearance. Perhaps it smiles at you--warm and inviting, or sly and elusive. Perhaps not. Regardless, you're going to want to listen to what it has to say.
Outside, you find a city built around and through a wild forest, leaving the trees, the vines, the carpet of moss intact. Roughly hewn stones wind a path around the trees, from structure to structure, stairs carved into the sides of massive tree trunks lead the way to bridges and treehouses above. The sky is a strange color--either a vibrant orange or pink, sometimes dark and grey, but rarely if ever the expected blue. Small glowing orbs of blue and gold wander through the air--perhaps they'll lead you to where you wish to go, or perhaps they'll lead you astray.
What you do now, is for you to decide.
Welcome to Ainmhian.
Ainmhian is a panfandom sex game set in realm of the Fae. A member of the Great Court has handpicked your character to...amuse them. You are a player in a grand piece of carnal theater, an amusing pet to be manipulated for the entertainment of the Courts, a game piece to be moved across an ever-shifting board as the Courts challenge one another and place their bets. Rewards for your active and eager participation are dolled out either by the Courts as a whole, or by an individual patron, depending on who said gift benefits. Will you give in to earn favor, or resist and rebel? The choice is yours, but make no mistake, little mortal--your gracious hosts will not make resistance an easy task.
Apps for the next round will open on February 20th and run through the 25th. Reserves will open on February 1st.

LOST CARNIVAL - faeries and fair rides
As imperfect and strange as its travels can be, its paid employees receive powerful faerie boons – favours from the Ringmaster that can be used to change your world or yourself as you see fit. While working there, it’s possible to learn magic, learn new skills, and discover parts of yourself you never knew existed. It’s also possible that you might grow some fantastical new physical features from the presence of the Ringmaster’s faerie magic, though the reviews of that particular service are mixed.
In the carnival you could become a new you, live a new life, and return home without ever having missed a thing. It used to be so easy.
But now the same faerie powers that enable the carnival’s journeys have returned to seek vengeance for actions of the ancient past. With long forgotten ties to both the Summer and Winter Courts of Arcadia, the Ringmaster has taken the carnival on the run, fighting to elude the enemies and allies she abandoned for a life among mortals eons ago – and all the while, those that follow her have been dragged into a battle between multiversal powers they never knew existed.
The Faerie Courts' hold on the multiverse is growing. How far will you run?
The game has entered its second year and its second IC season - stakes are higher than ever as characters are forced to fight for their freedom and potentially for the fate of the entire multiverse. There is a more serious and dramatic metaplot arc concerning the Faerie Courts mixed in with more lighthearted visits to various worlds and tour locations. The path the carnival takes is very much in your hands.
SPELLBIND ▢ a sci-fi / fantasy adventure game ▢ apps open january 1st
At least, that's the first thought you have. You aren't where you were a second ago, as dumb as that sounds. There's a lot going through your head and your body -- new physical sensations, a throbbing in your temple, a lump in your throat. Things are missing, things are gained. There's not a lot you know about where you are, but after a few minutes -- maybe more than a few if you're the late blooming sort -- you've come to discover something very crucial:
There's magic within you.

Adventure is waiting. It's calling you -- whether you like it or not.

MODPLOT NEXT UP: Panultima (Fake Married, Dystopic Horror)
Two dead boys got up to fight.
Back-to-back they faced one another,
Drew their swords and shot each other.
One was blind and the other couldn’t see,
So they chose a dummy for a referee.
A blind man went to see fair play,
A dumb man went to shout “hooray!”
A deaf policeman heard the noise,
And came and killed those two dead boys.
The world as you know it is ending. You don’t know why. You don’t know how. It starts with a quake, or a storm, or a fire. It starts with invasion. It starts in different ways on different worlds, but one terrible reality binds them all; this is your D.E.S.T.I.N.Y.
But all is not lost. The F.A.T.E.S can step in.
You awaken on a beach. It’s warm, breezy, but more chaotic than you might have thought. All around you are others who’ve arrived, just as confused as you, having escaped disaster of their own. The thing that approaches you might look like an animal, or an object, or a long lost friend. This is your personal Daemon. It welcomes you to XISTENTIA.
It welcomes you to the war. The future of every universe now rests on your shoulders. You’ve been uploaded to our server, and saved from your own Apocalypse. Now help us save the rest.
Xistentia is a panfandom game with a sci-fi/fantasy setting. Characters arrive as refugees drafted into a war not of their making, but which is currently destroying their homeworld. Plots alternate between intense and casual gameplay. The war metaplot focuses on ACTION, with elements of mystery, world-hopping, and horror. Between these crises, we have lower-key events to encourage EMOTIONAL CONNECTIONS which power the city’s defenses, ranging from sexual intimacy to community-building.
