ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Perhaps I could interest you in driftfleet. Our game ad is here, but the premise is that your character is stuck in space, traveling to new planets every month. There are slice of life elements with action thrown in at the regular. Activity is terribly reasonable, and everyone is always willing to backtag! We would adore having an Iron Bull. Our test drive can be found here as well!

As far as cast, we have: Dorian, a male and female Lavellan, a female Cousland, Alistair, Anders, and Justice.

lostcarnival currently has a Cole and Lavellan who'd be thrilled for castmates. I would describe the pace of the game as medium, picking up to 'fast' during events, but everyone is very backtag-friendly and a number of different tagging paces exist in the game. AC is an easy 10 comments across two threads, with the option to turn in bonus activity for rewards.

The main premise of the game is that your character is signing on for a year and a day of working for a dimension-hopping faerie carnival (on the run from other, more powerful fae) in exchange for a favor being granted to them. The Ringmaster can't reverse death, but she can do a lot of other things that a year might seem a comparatively small price for.

The test drives reflect their current stop, and right now it's probably up Dorian's alley -- a magical library! You can check it out here.

Castmates, you say.

Fade Rift has an absurd number of those, because we're entirely based in the Dragon Age setting! We're multifandom in the sense that characters can arrive from other canons through 'rifts' between worlds, but we also have a large number of native OCs and canon DA characters.

The game basically follows a heavily-AU'd version of DAI: The Inquisitor's dead, a whole bunch of less influential people have been hit with anchor shards, people are coming through rifts, and a bunch of weirdos are now in an outpost in Kirkwall trying to expand the Inquisition's influence in the north.

We love backtags, our AC for canon characters is super easy (5 consecutive log comments, or 10 consecutive network comments, or an open post), and there are opportunities for SOL and plot alike, with mod plots every other month and player plots available basically all the time. We're going to Tevinter next month!

We had a Dorian and an Iron Bull that dropped about a year ago now, but new players are not required to maintain any CR or developments that past versions of those characters played, so there wouldn't be any catching up to do unless you wanted to. The mods are also super helpful there — we had a Solas app recently and I know they were able to get up to speed pretty quickly.

Wow. Hello castmates. I had no idea y'all existed, so shows where I've been I guess?? This honestly sounds like my dream game, so you can bet I'll be checking it out. The only thing I'd be worried about is catching up on all the AU-canon history since the game opened, but I also love that kind of thing, so I'm not too worried.

I don't play a dragon age there but I would be SO jazzed to see either of them (ESPECIALLY Dorian) at hadriel! It's billed as horror but has... not been horror in quite some time, as the game's swapped more to a survival jamjar. It's about characters stuck in a city run by a pantheon of emotion based gods who are running from a robotic alien force threatening to wipe them all out. We have a Cole, an Inquisitor Trevelyan, and a Warden Brosca who I'm sure would all LOVE to have more castmates. My personal stake is that I also play a gay disaster wizard and him and Dorian are literally my dream cr LMAO

Gay disaster wizards have to stick together, my friend. I actually had a brief look at hadriel a little while ago and thought it looked pretty interesting! honestly it runs semi-fast during events, but it's more like the events run for 10ish days, everyone slaps their top levels up on days 1-3, and then you backtag for. ever HAHA, i'm still running a thread or two from October and a good amount of them from Feb/March. I've been playing here like a year and a half now and really, very killer. I see you on the TDM already so I'll have to hit you up there!!
