September EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened. IN GENERAL: ➤ Don't be a dick. Character-specific Preferences:
• Mayuzumi: All canonmates welcome, but especially Akashi, Kuroko, other Rakuzan characters, the other TFS members. He's a light novel nerd so crosscanon nerds would be great. I also love playing M/F with him as well as M/M and would kind of love to play out cute crosscanon girlfriend stuff, whether that's high school cliches or university dating.
• Akashi: Almost all canonmates welcome, but especially Mayuzumi, Midorima, Kuroko, Momoi, the other Miragen, Kagami, Takao, Riko; I'm not really interested in playing AkaFuri though so no Furihatas please, sorry. I'd also be down playing him off another Akashi for some messed-up AkaAka, whether it's all in his own head or a twin/siblings thing. I can play either Bokushi or Oreshi depending on preference. For crosscanon, same as Mayuzumi, I'm down for both M/M and M/F with him. Considering he's a shoujo prince type when he's not being overly obsessed with winning I'd love playing some cute tropey romance with him. A rich family arranged marriage scenario would also be excellent.
• Rosetta: All castmates that are 18 or older are welcome. For crosscanon I especially love playing her off of guys who are 25 or older. I'm dying to play out some grown-up flirting and romance with her and a rogue, gentleman, or serious and reserved type, whether more canon-oriented or a fantasy/historical romance AU where she's a noble of some kind. I'd also love to play a more atmospheric fairytale-like AU with Rosetta in Rose Queen mode as a fae ruling a spooky forest and having her romancing (unlucky) adventurers/travelers, or making pacts with wizards/witches seeking her out for power.
• Belial: Here to be hideous to everyone, canonmates or crosscanon; danchous also welcome. More suited to darker smutty storylines, corruption kink, etc. As an AU option I'd dig playing him as an incubus or a demon summoned as a familiar or to form a pact.
• Zakuro: His canon's obscure so it's all about the crosscanon. I'd love to play something more canon-adjacent where Zakuro's haunting/possessing someone. Or an AU where he's more of a wild/mischevous youkai like he was in the past, whether he's tricking/seducing humans or alternatively, being the local deity/shrine resident.
• Ayato and Ruki: Yuis are forever welcome. Of course it's all about the vampire stuff with these two; Ayato is the trashier fetishy option, Ruki the one more suited for classy gothic romance AUs (he's good for both though lbr). Playing them off of other vampires crosscanon or otherwise is interesting too. Both M/F and M/M are great.
• Orihime: A bit rusty with her but all canonmates welcome. I especially love playing her off of Arrancar characters but shippy stuff with Ichigo, Uryuu, and Rukia are also great. For crosscanon I'm ok with darker romantic storylines but I'm not really looking for hardcore corruption or age gap fetish stuff.
• Sasori: Canonmates welcome as well as crosscanon, but I'm not interested in playing canon setting stuff right now so AU settings only (exception: CRAU from previous games). Another character that's great for darker, creepy storylines. I typically play him in human form for ship/smut stuff but the puppet body is also available.
Thread/PSL Ideas
• I love both more canon-based storylines and total AUs. Post-canon AU storylines where high school characters are aged-up to be in university or beyond are also good.
• All kinds of AUs are great, but I especially enjoy cyberpunk, fairytale/fantasy, SF, spooky supernatural creatures like vampires and youkai, angels and demons, wizardy stuff, Fate/-style Master/Servant stuff, etc.
• Tonewise I love darker themes but also humor, romance, adventure, etc. The only thing I'm not interested in playing is intense angst or tragedy.
• Some tropes I enjoy are: arranged marriages, fake dating, soulmates, spoils of war, awkward teenage romance, villain/hero(ine) romances, dumb shounen rival shipping, shoujo romantic fluff, enemies with benefits, horrible people finding love (...sort of) with each other, mage/familiar, master/servant, royalty/loyal knight, teacher/student.
• With Halloween around the corner I'd love to play some spooky-themed stuff! Besides vampire AUs (with any of them not just the dialovers, I love vampire AUs), anything with ghosts, demons, youkai, werewolves, witches and familiars, etc. I'd particularly like the aforementioned Incubus!Belial and Haunting!Zakuro, but something with Ghost!Mayuzumi or Possessed Doll/Ghost!Sasori would also be fun. These storylines could be darker and genuinely creepy horror, atmospheric gothic romance, more lighthearted fluff, or a mixture.
• CRAU from previous games in general is always welcome.

• I'm CST timezone, usually more actively tagging at night
• Pretty slow right now, closer to hitting tags around once a day on average, although I may be faster or slower depending on my RL schedule
• Open to backtagging and reviving old threads/CR if we've threaded before
• Both brackets and prose are OK, but I may be a little slower with the latter
• I can have a habit of TL;DR sometimes but I'm comfortable playing off of any tag length
