ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. The Wake is where characters 'wake up' in a nexus sorry Doctors no time sight here and need to learn how to survive/coop with this new way of life. The main point of this game is character growth. Characters are encouraged to learn and grow beyond canon in however which why they might based on the in-game influencing factors.

Powers are able to regain abilities but not game breaking powers; example time sight. However, characters are also allowed to learn abilities they never had in canon. For instance; shapeshifting. When characters Ascend; aka the character growth, those characters are able to learn higher abilities, like being able to Fly or Teleport. As well as being able to travel to other worlds and fixing flaws (A Player Plot)

The story of the game itself is that there was a war with god like beings, one of those god-like beings in secret became the game setting (Nautilus) and therefore Nautilus is an actual living being that is conscious but don't worry most of the time Nautilus are like the majority of the Time Lords and doesn't interfere.

Activity check is relatively relaxed, and put simply it is two pieces of the following;

1 network post (provided you've made an effort to reply)

For example, if you're happy the sun might start shining that much stronger or you'll cause flowers to bloom, or if you're sad, you might cause it to rain. There's a good mix of adventure and slice of life, as characters have the options of exploring the world around them or getting caught up in the day to day life of the city.

[game info]: El Nysa is a sci-fi/fantasy game where characters are rescued and rehomed on a planet called El Nysa after their own worlds are destroyed by a universes-spanning calamity just called the Storm. There's multiple major cities where characters can settle down ranging from the more fantastical to the more sci-fi, and characters can earn reputation with different factions in the game to get fancy rewards and stuff. There's also quests, a comprehensive regains/rewards system, and the setting is sex-positive if that angle appeals as well. AC is relatively easy (2 proofs of 5 log or 10 network comments, but no splitting proofs) and the game pace is generally fairly chill overall.

Next app round isn't until November, unfortunately, but I'm happy to help anyone voicetest or anything if needed! I can also throw G-era Aichi and Kai icons at people. I am that serious about canonmate hunting.

[game info]: Mask or Menace is The One Where Everyone Gets Superpowers, but I wouldn't call it a "superhero game". The superhero stuff is totally optional, and a lot of what goes down is essentially slice of life, but with plenty of events and mod-run plotlines to keep characters busy! This month, a group of characters went on a mission to a moon of Mars to try and shut down a terrorist group trying to nuke everybody, meanwhile back on Earth there was a giant convention centering on import celebrities (also someone got murdered in a bathroom).

Empatheias is set on a floating island above a ruined wasteland of a world, where their emotions can have effects on the environment around them, both good and bad! As far as the setting goes, it's a mix of both plot and slice of life, with plenty of opportunities for both. Events are monthly, and can range from large-scale excursions where plot unfolds, to festivals where the characters get to unwind and reflect, and anything in between. In between, there's plenty of room for characters to tackle task-like jobs to earn rewards and money and even for player plots to go down, both personal and game-wide. All in all, it's a game where you have a lot of freedom to do what you want within the setting to use it to develop your character in the way you want.

It's a medium-large game, but moves at a medium-slow pace. AC is monthly, consisting of either an entry and at least one (separate) thread with seven comments from you, or two threads with a total of ten comments. YU-GI-OH (ARC-V + ALL SERIES) @ THE FAR SHORE

I'd love to see characters from other YGO series as well - literally any of them, they're all grand, bring them to me.
[game info]: The Far Shore is an urban fantasy game based on the anime/manga series Noragami, set in the Heavens of (modern) Japan. Characters brought into the setting either enter as new incarnations of gods or as shinki, the weapons of gods with memloss (but these can be regained through AC points). Gods and shinki are paired so they can fight ayakashi (the local monsters), answer prayers from their followers, and follow the plot to figure out who it is who has all this beef with the Heavens and keeps attacking them - there's ample opportunity for SoL, plot, and everything in-between, since the setting is very flexible. AC is also really easy (2 proofs of 5 log or 10 network comments, with proofs able to be split), and the game has a 2 OOC:1 IC day ratio, so it's fairly easy to keep up with.

The TDM goes up on the first day of each month at the OOC comm takamagahara, and reserves open at the same time! I tend to keep a close eye on the TDM, so I'm definitely happy to help castmates get samples.

DETROIT: BECOME HUMAN @ HADRIEL

I'd love to have other androids around (even those he's never met) but Hank or anyone else from the DPD, Rose or Adam, or anyone else I'm forgetting would also be fantastic. There's a huge variety of things to do in game/player organizations/etc so pretty much any character should have fun stuff to do.

[game info]: Hadriel is a survival/horror(ish) jamjar that is super chill in terms of playerbase, with fantastic mods that keep up on an overarching plot that encourages player involvement. If you like plot stuff while still having a chance to do some SOL, it's a perfect balance. The game is on the slower side of medium and gets a little faster during events, and many players are very active in terms of backtagging, plotting, and staying involved in things. There's a huge mix of mediums, genres, species, fandom vs oc, etc etc so lots of variety to have fun with, and for DBH players especially it might be interesting to note that the main 'enemy' in the plot is a hive-mind of robotic aliens. There's also been a recent influx of other mechanical player characters showing up, so that's a whole thing with potential.

Our TDM is up here, and AC is a total of 20 network or 10 log comments (or any mix.) Apps are open from the 1st to the 7th with new arrivals coming into game on the 10th. Reserves are open now. The monthly rundown is up here and particularly noteworthy is that there's a 4th wall coming up at the end of next month! So it's a perfect time to test out playing if you're not totally sure about apping just yet.

The premise is here! I play Hanzo as a native AU - a Tevinter born mage who ran away from home after murdering his brother, now part of the Inquisition in order to redeem himself. I'd be happy to talk out AU stuff with anyone who considers apping!

[game info]: Melodies is a panfandom RP inspired by Final Fantasy games. You don't need to know about FF to enjoy the game, though. New characters show up in the Dream Width cloud and are rescued via airship by Biggs and Wedge. You then get to pick a job/role for your character (ie. Black Mage, Paladin, etc.) and set to work doing whatever you like.

There's a mix of SoL and plot-heavy stuff, so you can do one or the other or both. Activity is 10-20 comments or 1 post depending on the comm, and participating in events nets your character some EXP to further advance their jobs. [game info]: Hadriel is a sometimes-horror jamjar with a heavily character influenced plot. Characters are brought into a ruined city run by parasitic life forms calling themselves Gods, who influence and then feed off their emotions. Events are likewise emotion-based and run the gamut depending on which God wants power that month, PCs get to vote ICly on gamewide decisions and setting changes, and we're being threatened by an alien race called the Null that wants to exterminate us. Fun times! There are also a variety of player run organizations to join and monsters to fight! Hadriel loves player plots, villains, and character development. AC is 20 network or 10 log comments and we're medium paced and super backtag friendly.

This month's TDM is up, reserves are now open, and applications are the first week of the month! We're also having a FOURTH WALL EVENT at the end of October, and I would die of joy if someone poked in even just for that.

Note for zombie castmates: Hope provides vision-free brains but I've gotten to have some antics going hungry before too. Ask me about zombie accommodations!

[game info]: Survival-based, exploration-based island adventure! It's a fairly low-tech setting but characters are encouraged to upgrade and expand - the setting is actually very fluid in that regard, as player interaction has a huge effect on the setting and NPCs. Our AC is a completely automated system - all you have to do is tag - with non-compulsory AC available for IC rewards! Our current app round closes on October 1st, so there's still time to get an app in if you like!

Empatheias is set on a floating island with a ruined-but-recovering world below it. The emotions (or lack thereof) of the characters can effect the environment around them for better or worse, and can even be used like magic with enough training. It's a mix of slice of life antics and plot, where you can get as deep into things or stay as removed as you prefer depending on your playstyle, but there's always something to do between the events, taskboard, adventure requests, different cities to visit, and just general interaction while messing with emotions. The biggest draw in my own opinion lies in how the emotional effects and setting can help push along character development (especially for quieter characters) and the amount of opportunities it gives you to do exactly that. It's a medium-to-large sized game, but don't let that spook you. The pace is more on the medium-slow side, with a light monthly AC of ten comments between at least two threads or one entry plus a seven comment thread. As far as the cast goes, another character in the game restored Zero's memories, so he'll actually know who the heck his old X series buddies are. Zero has been in the game since May 2016 (currently from the end of MMZ4) and Ciel since October 2016 (currently from the very start of MMZ2), and both have been through the ol' character development roller coaster quite a few times.

Empatheias is a game where emotions influence the environment and shape the world around you. There's some SOL, with an overarching plot and space to run your own player plots. For the most part, the core of this game is the playerbase decides where they want the world to go. There's world building, with characters exploring and discovering more of the world outside of the starting city. Pacing-wise, from my experience it sits around mid-pace, with it picking up during events. You have two options to complete AC, 1 Entry and 7 comments from elsewhere, or 10 comments added up from two threads minimum. You only need to meet half AC the first month you app in!
