ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Does Shougo want to become a god? There’s a Hibiki and Mirei at thefarshore, which is supposed to be a game about gods and their partners who turn into weapons based on the Noragami anime/manga. But both of them are stubbornly doing Idol Things instead, because PriPara.

The weapon characters do lose their memories but if Shougo came in as a god instead he’d get to arrive as-is, plus get some new powers. I have been in the game with Hibiki for long enough that lots of folks actually know the canon, and I’m sure everyone would be excited to see him!

I'm sure shougo would love to be a god. I'm famililar with noragami too so I'm interested in the premise! hibiki and mirei are also my other favs from pripara so having them as castmates is def tempting. I took a brief glance and saw a lot of characters in the game so I'm wondering what the pace is like. I've been on a long break from dwrp and trying to get back into so I'm worried I might be overwhelmed at a game that's really active.

I used to be in this game but had to quit recently for school reasons on my end but the pace is reasonable! It can get a little slow but during events, it definitely picks up. Most people are backtag friendly so don't worry about having to boomerang to get some decent thread lengths going. Our PriPara cast is amazing and get involved in the best shenanigans.

(Also the fact you play Shougo means you're good civilization. Excellent taste.)

A third weirdo coming in from the TFS brigade to confirm that the pacing is pretty nice. I describe as "big game with small game chill". I have had an inbox overload going back weeks (i got sick lmf), but everyone was still fine with me getting back on my own time. And I can confirm that a lot of people will backtag you for as long as you like, or handwave whatever is necessary if you've got too much on your plate.

I've introduced plenty of friends who are slower at tagging or just had a rough month, and they've fallen in love with TFS because of how easy it is to just get through. There's two event threads per month- one which is a training log for new characters and old alike. That helps ensure you always have an easy way of getting AC if nothing else.

Another person from TFS here! I highly recommend this game to people who've been out of games or just want something chill. As others have said, people are very backtag friendly, reasonable, and laidback. I've found the mods and players to be very willing to work with you if something comes up that requires you to put RP on the backburner. The AC is also really easy to keep up with and during your first month, it's just a check in. I'm a fairly slow tagger who can get easily overwhelmed at times but I've never needed to take a strike here despite being here for a long time and going through periods of illness.

It's a really great game and I definitely recommend giving it a shot!

....man, I go to bed and the whole game shows up. But yes, agreed with what everyone else has said! I will also say this game is really good at getting CR started for new people, too - because we have those intro/training logs once a month, there's basically a dedicated place just to meet people.

Our TDM is monthly and goes up at the beginning of the month, with apps from the 8th-15th, so we're just about to get a new one if you wanted to play around in the setting. I think everyone else has addressed your concerns, but if you had any more questions about the game/what the cast has gotten up to feel free to PM this journal or plurk me at ghoulfriend!

I mean, I play Luke from the original games and have not finished Katrielle's game or the anime...but I also can't remember the last time I saw a Layton player anywhere.

So I really just wanted to say hi, honestly. I would love to play with you, but I'm not sure how since I couldn't pull off Grown Up Luke can I tell you I squealed like a toddler when I saw My Boy all grown!!!

hello! yes layton players seem to be rare even though it's a fun canon. I hope you can finish either katry's game or anime one day! (tbh imo the anime does a better job of making the story engaging vs the game)

I actually haven't set up a journal for katry yet but I would like to play her eventually. I'm sure a thread between young luke and katry would be possible since it'll just be another mystery for her to solve! so once I get everything I can send you a dm and we can work something out?
