hey, he's a good character to come back to; he's one of those moldable protagonists who still has a clearly defined personality no matter what? which i think are some of the most fun to run into in rp.
don't worry about comics knowledge; they're long and silly and sometimes barely make sense. i read comics so other people don't have to. and because i have a problem, apparently.
All of that sounds amazing, and i'm totally fine with you playing up whatever sides of morgan you want to play! i can deal with full asshole morgan and tbh so can peter, he has a high threshhold for other people being shitty, especially if he thinks theyre ~~good deep down~. peter is a bleeding heart juuust a little.
and no worries, i totally understand that reticence. for some reason, every adaptation of peter makes him younger and younger, even though he graduated high school in issue 28 which came out in 1965. he hasnt been a little kid in decades in the comics. comic book peter, the one i play, is the oldest version, somewhere in his early-mid thirties. he's had various grownup jobs, like teaching a high school, starting a tech company, and being the senior science writer for a widely distributed newspaper, and at no point was anyone like 'you're kind of young for that??'. however his dream was always to be a full time scientist at a lab doing experimental work to help people. he couldnt because he dropped out of his phd program due to ~spider drama~ obviously in any talos adjacent au, he didn't.
