ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Hey, crosschecks vet here! I see you're already looking at us, but we've got a great big Fate cast that would love to welcome a Tokiomi. I do notice complete power nerfing seems to be a concern for you but would like to offer some reassurance that the way the game's set up does allow you to regain different powers that make for a decent substitute for the real thing. It works well with the game setting and, speaking as someone who plays a character who relies a lot on their powers, I was able to get along just fine without. Couple of things to mention:

SOL does happen in-game, but we have war and dungeon events going on as well, and there's always something interesting to do. This is one game I've never been bored in (and the SOL is actually really fun, IMO, because it often serves a greater and more focused purpose than you might expect).

Wonderful assortment of castmates, as mentioned, and I'd personally love to see more Zero folks (I play Gil here from Zero).

Class system that's a blast to play around with. Tokiomi can gain similar powers, like I said, in addition to new ones.

Overarching plot is present in the form of players being summoned as Heroes to take part in a big war between two factions. Excellent fit for Tokiomi.

Sitting at a good size around 100 characters with a manageable pace.

Test drive going on now if you'd like to give it a whirl and app later. (And man, we'd be all over helping you voice test, lemme tell ya.)

NGL Zero is my favorite Fate/ anything. THEN AGAIN I don't have a lot of exposure to Fate/, weh.

I've heard a bit about current cast shenanigans from Amy and Shana though and lemme tell you, I'm a bit more tempted to throw Tokiomi into the mess. As I said, I'll probably have to watch a few Zero eps to get the voice back and then muck around in the TDM, thanks so much for offering to help me with that.

No problem! Take your time on that front, Tokiomi's one of the more complex characters so I can definitely understand wanting a solid handle on him before tossing him out. Test drives are no pressure and aren't technically game canon (it's all a dream) so you're free to mess around without any strings attached. No cast or game caps are planned, either, so you won't have to worry about slots being filled up before you get there.

Thanks again! Yeah, Tokiomi is a pretty complex character and I play Edgeworth from Ace Attorney, who's basically Tokiomi's good twin brother from another universe, so I want to keep their voices from blending or sounding the same.

Most of the CC info has already been covered, but I did want to add re: power loss that it was actually a big thing that kept me away from the game for a while! I've been pleasantly surprised since I apped in. One of the ranks available to characters essentially lets them cast elemental magic in a way similar to Fate/ mages (Tokiomi could even specialize in fire), and characters start out as Pawns which are still capable of casting minor spells in all elements/a variety of areas.

I know your post says she's tentative/needing a canon review but if you're at all looking for a game for her later, might I interest you in cosmographia?

It's a Steven Universe-inspired game in which characters become Crystal Gems. It's SOL with a plot; there's bi-monthly mod-plots and player plots are highly encouraged! Prior knowledge of Steven Universe isn't required to play as it's merely inspired by the canon, not taken directly from it. The pace is easy to moderate and very back tag friendly!

We currently have a Pyrrha who is post-V3 (*sob*) and I play Yang who is still from the end of V2 (although I may be canon updating her...soon >.> <.< ).
