ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. Fairy Tail @ Genessia

For people outside of the Fairy Tail guild, we'd love to see anyone from Crime Sorciere, Kagura, Millianna, or any of the Spriggan Twelve (especially August, Eileen, or Brandish).

Given the people who are already in the game, any of the founding members of Fairy Tail (Hades/Precht, Warrod, Yuri Dreyar, or Zeira) could be interesting. Tartaros still has a base in this setting from when its members were there previously, so someone from there could be fun! (For the players, at least)

[game info]: Genessia is a fairly easy-going slice of life game. It's a jamjar, with the option for investigating the city and its mysteries (who sent them there, why, etc.) The city itself is divided into several zones, loosely corresponding to genres and settings of the canons (modern, sci-fi, fantasy, etc.). The game encourages player-run plots, and there are in-game elections for Guardians, people who are in charge of keeping each zone safe. More information can be found here.

The fact that a branch of the Fairy Tail and Tartaros guilds are in Genessia (built by characters who were there previously) and one of the jobs is bounty hunting (which involves a lot of odd jobs, so basically what they already do in canon) makes it really easy to adapt. At the moment, all of the Fairy Tail cast is living at the Fairy Tail guild hall, and they've managed to recruit a few new members from other worlds!

From a player's standpoint, the game is really easy to get into. Just post on the Taken list and you're good - no application necessary! As long as you post somewhat regularly, respond to the check-in every couple of months, and stay in-character for who you're playing as, you're good to go!

One Piece @ Genessia

Special shout-out to any of the Straw Hat Pirates or Ace (or any of the Whitebeard Pirates, for that matter), Tashigi, or Garp, and someone like Doflamingo or Crocodile would be fun, seeing as the pirates in Genessia right now are a bunch of goody-two-shoes (relatively speaking)
[game info]: Genessia’s an easy-going, slow-paced slice of life game. The game encourages player-run plots, though there’s an ongoing one where characters can look into the mysteries of where they’ve been sent. Each city is divided into zones that roughly correspond with different types of genres, such as sci-fi or fantasy, meaning that just about any character can feel at home there.

Applications and activity check are about as easy as you can get – for applications, you just post your character’s name on the taken list, and as long as you stay in-character and you post on the activity check every couple of months to say that you’re still interested, you’re good to go!

Dragon Ball @ Genessia

Any androids could be interesting, given their connection to the game’s cast. (Gero in particular is responsible for the creation of two of them, and the bad future that three others hail from) As far as long-shots are concerned, there's Cheelai and Lemo, the Universe 6 Saiyans, or Chi-Chi, and any of Goku's Saiyan family would be great, since Bardock, Gine, and Raditz don't really get explored outside of video games.

[game info]: Genessia is a slice of life game set in five different cities which are connected by portals. Nobody knows why they've been brought there, though characters have the option of trying to figure that out. Otherwise, there are mod plots and player plots that happen regularly. As a whole, the game is quite easy-going, with a lot of room for creativity. More information about it can be found here.

Applications and Activity Check are both insanely easy. For applications, you post your character's name to the taken list, and you're good to go. Activity Check happens once every few months, and you just post that you're still interested in playing as that character. As long as you've posted regularly and are staying in character, that's all you need to worry about.

Final Fantasy IV @ Duplicity

The world itself is based on the concept of dom-sub and the whole society is built around a privileged class (the doms) and those who are basically abused (the subs). There are horror elements, exploration, survival and other things, most of the characters in the setting are trying to make the best of an awful situation building their small businesses, their small resistence groups, and some others just enjoy the place they are in. Bad behaviour (IC) is encouraged, it will be up to the single character to decide if it's how they want to live or if it's something they want to fight.

From in-game votes, characters are allowed to travel to other islands, discover the mystery of the world itself, it's broken-off islands, and how they happened to come here. AC is VERY low (3 comments in a single thread per month) and involves HEAVY player interaction with the plot. You can also sit back and roll with the punches! It is important to note that it is a low-tech setting and there is some power nerfing (but not total loss)- check out the linked pages for more info.

[game info]: Daybreak Academy is a AU magical school game centered around saving the world from an upcoming cataclysmic event. Students and teachers are both playable, and the game incorporates mission logs, monthly events and player-run plots really well. AC is also very lenient, with a 10 comment requirement for all players, and an additional log from faculty members—running a class, running a mission, things like that! The player base is extremely active, so there's always something going on.

Upon arrival, every new character will be stripped of their previous powers and begin to change into one of the listed monsters. The game is heavily focused on what happens after the change, such as what god you align with, how you go about treating the remaining npc humans, or what you allow yourself to become. Currently, our TAZ cast's permanent monsters are Lup and Taako as Nagas, Barry as a Kelpie, Lucretia as a Nephilim, and John as a Troll.

The March app round is open until the 27th but apps are bi-monthly, so if you can't make it this time around, there's plenty of time to work on apps or play on the test drive! AC is pretty standard, twenty comments across the board, which can be used from up to five different threads. We also have a super sweet bonus AC system that awards coins that can be used to buy monster upgrades, spells, or even bring in stuff from a character's homeworld. [game info]: Breath of Usir is an AU game set in the dark fantasy world of Idan. The story so far is that all characters died 100 years ago during a massive war between the three cities and their guardian dragons, only to be resurrected by unknown forces for reasons they've yet to discover, leaving them to pick up the pieces in a world familiar but so very different all at once. There's mystical soul animals, baby dragons, undead orc hoards, and mysteries that players can unravel as they please.

AC itself is fairly low at 14 comments between 1-3 threads. Every month features rewards and opportunities to pursue your own character's interests. The navigation hosts a ton of information on the world, locations, history, races, magic traits, and pretty expansive help for AUing characters. I know AUs can be a tough sell but, in my own opinion, this one offers a lot to work with.

It's a fairly low-tech setting but characters are encouraged to upgrade and expand - the setting is actually very fluid in that regard, as player interaction has a huge effect on the setting and NPCs. Our AC is a completely automated system - all you have to do is tag - with non-compulsory AC available for IC rewards! Our current app round closes at 11:59pm EST on March 31st, so there's still time to get an app in if you like!

Our TDMs now go up on the 17th of every month to coincide with reserves, and applications open on the 24th of every month! You can find the current TDM over here! I'm a bit slow on the tag front due to being in the middle of a move, but I'll try and hit you up if you want!

Gravity Falls @ POPULATION YOU

A horror game set in Silent Hill, a foggy Maine hell-town where the characters have to deal with the landscape occasionally changing to a rust-filled, industrial, rotten mess, with angry ghosts and grotesque monsters. The town is designed to torment them with their own guilt and traumas but it's rounded out by the fact that it wants them to face their issues and let them go, so it isn't a torture-fest 24/7.

During fog times there are survival elements, with the gang having to find supplies and survive. During "nightmare" levels, they have to survive against monsters and solve puzzles. The plot involves conspiracies, cults, puzzles, and mysteries to solve around what made the town that way. The plot has been pretty dynamic and allowed for players to poke at things the mods didn't exect. The player base is a lot of fun and while people take the scary stuff seriously, there's definitely been an edge of horror comedy.

Dipper and Mabel are pretty much running around feral and poking at cursed things so they could probably use an Adult to make sure they don't wind up getting into too much trouble. Dipper especially has befriended Alessa, the tormented hell child behind it all, and plans to play her morbid riddle games. He's definitely playing with fire there.

Symphogear @ The Far Shore

[game info]: Prismatica is a sex-friendly sci-fi/fantasy game set on an alien world with three very important moons. Characters are brought in and welcomed as outsiders by the general population, namely because they can produce Chroma — a valuable energy that can be used to repair the planet— through physical affection. Player characters are dubbed "Moonblessed" because they may take on the physical/mental properties associated with one of the planet's three moons. These manifest once a month at different times depending on which moon you're aligned with.

So far it's a lot of fun. Everyone seems to be having a good time plotting and jumping right into the game. You can mix and match Moonblessing traits within your choice, at your discretion, so there's a lot of options for customization. It's sex positive but sex is not a requirement even for bonus points, since Chroma can be produced through things like hand-holding.

[game info]: Empatheias is a large once-floating island suspended on a giant pillar, and is one of the last remnants of a destroyed world. It is a medium-large panfandom game where characters can affect their environment through their emotions, CR, and other discoveries they make. It has a mixture of slice-of-life and adventure with a focus on character relationships and development.

Emotions take the center stage by being able to manifest. For example, being incredibly happy might make a light snap or being sad or expressing despair might make a raincloud form over your head. Emotions can also be altered by food, the environment (such as flower pollen that could change your mood if inhaled) and certain main events.

The game is anticipating a Flower Festival in April which is primetime for creating new CR and a wonderful opportunity for new players to dive in head first to try out game mechanics and play with the setting. There are monthly introduction logs for new players as well as monthly events corresponding to the overarching plot of the changing world and discovering the past truths about the world.

The Kingdom Hearts cast has just undergone canon updates so most of the cast is Kingdom Hearts 3 updated. We’re excited to meet new friends and are always open-minded to new plots and development! Come check it out!

[game info]: Acatalepsy is a world-hopping game where characters are pulled to a temple between worlds by a witch who sends them out to save other worlds from the edge of destruction in some way or another (whether it's due to politics/war or natural disaster or monster or what have you). It's very reliant on character involvement, so how much characters do in each world and what they choose to do will affect that world's outcome (it's possible to "fail" worlds and it's happened once before), and characters can get very involved in finding clues/following leads and so on. The pace is about medium, and AC is 20+ comments over two threads with no distinction between what log and network comments are worth.

[game info]: The game is set on a floating island above a ruined world, where characters' emotions have effects on the environment around them. There's a mix of slice-of-life and plot, with room for a variety of tones; and what interests you to play is available! There are opportunities to explore the world and uncover its mysteries, as well as a task board with a variety of different quests/odd jobs that characters can take on, and of course, there are regular events that play with characters’ emotions. There's also the opportunity to get involved with magi-tech and advancing the world's technology.
