April EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form. ➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above. ➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened. IN GENERAL: ➤ Don't be a dick. Sooo if it's Break surviving then maybe it could be following them after Pandora shuts down. Or if it's reincarnation au I'd love if they were reckoning with the return of their memories and such. Orrr maybe a time travel type thing if you like that trope.
I dunno I'm just excited to play with a Reim so whatever tickles your fancy is fine!! I got into the fandom way too late so anything would be fun ahah.

- slight au scenario where Reim also gets pulled into the time slip at the end of the series, maybe after Break dying? and his strong feelings about his death accidentally bring him to a time when Break is alive
- post-death Break travels back in time—maybe his soul does? through the abyss? idk handwaves it—and I mean I guess he'd probably know better than to change anything but would he though (yes but maybe he says all the sappy things to Reim he should have said when he was alive)
- just a straight up time travel artifact is uncovered at some point in canon and takes either of them or both of them to the past (or future?)
- slightly different but Reim and Break stuck in a time loop??? either together or only one of them
i'm sorry there are so many of these i just think about time travel more than i think about like what i'm going to eat on any given day. obviously if you have your own ideas, please share!! i would love to hear them!!

anyway TIME TRAVEL!!! i'm deeply enamored with Strong Feelings Cause Time Travel in any form and also One Or Both of Us Time Traveled and We Know It Somehow (Oh God)... maybe a time loops + strong feelings timeslip combo? thank god canon blessed us with both time traveling AND "many stories are possible"... maybe something like, hmm
like basically groundhog day. or erased, do you know erased?? where one or both of them (or they take turns somehow) keep getting thrown back into the past at different points to try and find the golden timeline where nobody dies a horrible death, but they retain memories and it's very dramatic and sappy throughout. by that logic we can zoom them through different scenes as necessary, like, example: Do Not Get Mauled At Yura's Mansion, rippled through a bunch of effects to the next.... THING.

but yes TIME TRAVEL!!! i definitely do know erased and i love this absolute unit of a time travel trope melange, it's perfect.
if it's one or the other only going back... i kind of think it ought to be reim because break would probably not fuck with the timeline. reim would maybe be more proactive? which would make for something more dynamic. whereas break would just live out the flashbacks making subtle changes to the things he's done and said so he doesn't die with regrets. although on the other hand this is a farce because he'll fuckin snap at yura the minute he sees him so. hm.
although now it's got me thinking it'd be some great Irony if they both went back, but break is pretending he hasn't because he's all "i've changed the past before and made everything worse so i ain't touching shit" while reim is out here literally changing the course of history and they both don't know it until they flash back to the present and break is alive BUT AT WHAT COST.
maybe nothing, which could embolden them to do more time travel until some terrible unseen domino effect occurs, because i'm love time travel but i'm also love pain. _(:3」∠)_
golden ending would still be good and attainable of course!! but after some drama first ashjksf

a little bit abbott & costello, a little bit dripping with melodrama, a little bit Golden Timeline... there's also a random and as far as i can tell, not cited anywhere bit on the wiki that's like oh, yes, in an alt ending, reim made a Really Bad Call and made a deal with the will of the abyss to try and get break back, so like. i'm saying. we can go whole hog with reim's bad old man decisions.
