April EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. [game info]: A survival game located on a far-off archipelago, helped along by a god who runs on stories. From in-game votes, characters are allowed to travel to other islands, discover the mystery of the world itself, it's broken-off islands, and how they happened to come here. AC is VERY low (3 comments in a single thread per month) and involves HEAVY player interaction with the plot. You can also sit back and roll with the punches! It is important to note that it is a low-tech setting and there is some power nerfing (but not total loss)- check out the linked pages for more info.

[game info]: Rookshire is designed to be a small game with a beginning and end. It's a relaxed environment with a tightknit playerbase. It's a great setting for close CR and developing characters, as well as easy access to game plot for everyone.
Rookshire is a pan-fandom game with a focus on survival and exploration. Players will have access to new locations on a monthly basis as well as the ever changing building itself. There will be paranormal elements in many of the new locations as well as significant psychological horror undertones to the main exploration. The goal of this is not to be a horror-based game but there are horror elements that will come up due to the extreme survival situation.
Due to the nature of the game, all players must be at least 18 years of age and all characters must be at least 16.

Both me and Ed’s player are open to characters from either continuity. However, Prismatica treats Manga/Brotherhood and 03 as the same, and thus, there can be only one continuity’s version of each character in the game at the time (for example, since my Manga/Brotherhood Greed is in the game, there can’t be a 03 Greed in it).

It is set on a planet with a crystalline, bright, colourful 80s aesthetic. The central mechanics of the game are basically earning money by touching people, and Three Moons And Three Different Subcategories of (Sexy) Werecreatures.
Greed came in last round so the cast hasn’t done much together so far.

Deerington is a pan-fandom horror game that is based in a dream reality. Characters will experience all different types of horror connected to monthly events and an overarching plot of just who is behind this and what is actually going on. If you want to explore your character's psyche and see how far they can be stretched, then this is the place for you. You will never be without a prompt to encourage your creativity! The mods have done a great job in the world build and providing a lot of options in each event. You are always able to be involved to the level of your comfort, so you don't need to worry about a certain aspect of horror not being your purview. The game is medium-paced and very backtag friendly so you don't need to worry about missing out on something, and AC with rewards help you gain new tools to work with IC.
The Voltron Cast is one big, weird family. Shiro has been in Deerington from the start, followed by Allura few months later. Keith came immediately after in August, and then Krolia in September. Lance has joined the fray in the middle of the October horror fest and Pidge has just joined in this November. Adam and Hunk joined in January. All but Adam live in a shard house (House of Mouse) on Elm Street. Throughout this time, characters have shared in reliving--literally reliving--memories they might not have wanted to share, as well as been pitted against one another with their intentions twisted thanks to game events. But they push through!

[game info]: Empatheais takes place on a floating island where emotions have a strong effect on the world around them. For example, if you're happy to might cause the sun to come out or sparkles to appear, or if you're nervous, maybe plants will twist themselves into knots. There's a lot of things to explore! The game has a good mix of slice of life and adventure, with characters being able to create new lives or delve into the secrets of the wider world and what happened to it!
Our cast is large and active, but we're always eager to have new people join in our fun! The cast is KH3 compliant with a good chunk of it updated to endgame or near there.

Deerington is a pan-fandom horror game that's set in a dream town in Maine. It has a variety of different horror types with most elements of the plots being easily opted-out of in case there is ever a certain type of horror you'd like to avoid. It's medium-paced, backtag friendly, and the AC runs on a point system that's relatively easy to meet; 30 points a month, network tags are 1 point, logs are 3 points, and any points over 30 can be collected for bonus points to put towards rewards.
Chloe and Max are both pretty established in the game with a number of friends that anyone who joins would probably get pretty great CR with. They're both from the Save the Bay ending, but we'd love to have characters from varying canon points because what's better than time shenanigans for the Life is Strange cast?

[game info]: Set in a sprawling and hoppin' 80's-punk alien city, Prismatica is a lighthearted fantasy/sci-fi game geared toward encouraging (but not necessitating!) smut and shipping - getting intimate, touchy-feely, or even just physically affectionate with others produces an energy that doubles as cash! Watch out for the passage of the months, though - the phases of the moons over the city shift characters into sorta-werecreatures for brief monthly periods, giving them animalistic traits (prominence subject to player preference) and (optional) brand-new instincts and powers! Needless to say, if you're cruisin' for smut, you can use these to get weird, if you like - orrrrr alternatively they can just be neat 'n fun and look cool.

Deerington is a panfandom horror game set in 1950's Maine, or at least a dream reality version of it. There's different types of horror, and you can customize it to the level you'd like to play. This place is meant to test your characters psyche! So play out whatever you think will break whoever you bring in, and have fun helping others do the same. Events are not mandatory, but you can always take a prompt and customize it to something you do want to play out. So if there's a month where nothing strikes you? That's okay! There's always something to do here. Game is medium-paced, super backtag friendly, and the AC rewards system can help with getting new IC items for the game.
Roxas has been here the longest, so is the most knowledgeable about how messed up this place can be (though he also likes living here to a degree), and is happy to talk about all the CR and friends he's made in this place. He lives with Sora and Ventus, and the house could probably hold a few more roommates before they might need to consider getting a bigger place.

Keith and James are kids who grew up in a small town in Arizona and arrived at the academy very recently. Keith is a werewolf whose mother escaped from the werewolf clan 'Galra', though he doesn't know this yet. James is the son of a Garrison officer. In context of the game, the Garrison is a rune-based mecha force protecting humanity. Both Galra and Garrison have been kept fairly vague so far and would provide hook for castmates to weave their AUs in!

[game info]: POKEMON FUNTIME!! Victory Road is a slice of life game (with occasional actiony bits) set in Johto and Kanto, where characters are given their very own starter and let loose on the world. Characters can be either trainers, breeders, or Team Rocket members, can challenge the gyms and the Elite Four... along with monthly events, players are given a ton of free reign to do what they want!
Applications for Victory Road are always open, but are processed every sunday, and Activity Check is very easy (two proofs with at least 14 comments from your characters), and the pace is in the slow side, so it's a pretty good game for those looking for something with relatively little stress.

[game info]: Melodies is a panfandom RP inspired by Final Fantasy games. You don't need to know about FF to enjoy the game, though. New characters show up in the Dream Width cloud/nebular/atmosphere/thing and are rescued via airship by Biggs and Wedge. You then get to pick a job/role for your character (ie. Black Mage, Paladin, etc.) and set to work doing whatever you like.
It's much more plot-heavy than anything else, but SoL stuff is definitely do-able. Activity is 10-20 comments or 1 post a month depending on the comm, and participating in events nets your character some EXP to further advance their jobs. The pace is about slow to medium but some people are willing to boomerang. We're a pretty small game, too. AUs, CRAUs, and Native OCs are accepted! The game's a lot of fun, and everyone's super nice and chill. :)

[game info]: Imagine a world where any/all emotions you feel affect your surroundings, with the stronger the emotions, the bigger the effect. That's basically the setting in a nutshell. The game is fairly active with lots of plot to get involved in... or not if that's not your thing. Really, if you want to just sit and channel your happiness to make flowers grow that's cool too, and most the Fate/ cast thrives on backtagging so no worries if you're a slow tagger! Either way, the possibilities are nigh-endless, there's a decent-sized cast already but always room for more, and minimal (if any) power nerfing for most characters.
With that said, please note if you're an FGO apper, the game's app rules mean that only canon points that have been released in the English version are allowed. Currently that means the most recent appable point is Shinjuku for main story chapters, or Gudaguda Meiji Restoration for events. But anything within that limit is definitely fair game, and test driving characters that aren't appable yet is perfectly fine too. Also please note that while currently the Fate/ cast is primarily from FGO, you do not by any means need to feel obligated to app those versions. Go ahead, bring us some alternate timeline shenanigans!

[game info]: A jamjar-style game in which characters are transported to the high-tech, synthwave/retro-futuristic, neon-lit world of Prismatica, which literally runs on the power of hugs (jk it's physical contact between characters). The environment and prompts are sex positive but not sex mandatory, with optional, pick-and-choose a/b/o and werecreature themes for one week out of the month. Overall the game is large, new, and fast-paced, but backtag friendly with very easy AC requirements (1 proof). Monthly events feature action and SOL prompts about evenly.

The game takes place on a floating island, in a world where emotions can manifest and influence the world around you. A little pissed off? Maybe the ground beneath you is starting to crack and splinter! Feeling happy? Well, the world around you just got a lot brighter, are those sparkles? So on and so forth, the manifestation of emotions are flexible and up to the player! The game itself is a healthy mix of Slice of Life, with some plot and room for adventure. It's a decently sized game, with taggers of varying speeds, and there's always stuff to do!
As for the current cast, most are from post-game shenanigans, Blue is from HG/SS, and Guzma is from U!S&M. Most the cast has been here for nearly a year or longer, though some just apped in a couple months ago!

[game info]: Empatheias takes place on a floating island above a ruined world, where everybody's emotions effect the environment around them. The game is a mix of slice-of-life with an overarching plot, and there's various tones to the threads going on; whatever interests you is playable! There are elements of world exploration and discovery, as well as a task board with various, well, tasks characters can take up, and there are regular game-wide events themed around emotions. There's the opportunity to develop magi-tech and advance the world's technology.

[game info]: Prismatica is a sex-positive (not sex-required) panfandom game set on an alien planet with three moons and some serious '80s aesthetic. Characters can generate both money and energy through physical contact of any sort, so if you don't want to do smut you can still do hugs and handshakes! They're also affiliated on arrival with one of the three moons, which can cause animal-trait transformations and personality changes for the few days that moon is visible. (The extent of the changes is up to player discretion, as well as whether you do the exact same thing from month to month, as long as you're within the pool of traits covered by that moon.)
Hifumi has spent the first month of the game figuring out what she wants, having her mind blown with the concept of poly, learning more about the whole Persona thing (from both Joker and Souji), and greatly enjoying her mother's absence. Joker, meanwhile, is still doing his best to keep his PT identity secret from those not already in the know (so... Hifumi, currently), and has had to deal with Arsene-style buttwings for a few days. Fun for the whole family!
