ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted. FOR CHARACTER ADS: ➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join. ➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. ⇢ WRITING STYLE
I love to brainstorm! I'd prefer journal threading, and love incorporating things like texts, emails, etc., however, I also use GDocs. I do prefer long-term PSLs with lots of character development over one-shots. Flashback scenes are <3. Shipping is <3. Angst is <3. I'm also always up for pulling in other characters as NPCs to supplement the story we're creating.

I prefer third person, past tense writing. I tend to match whoever I'm writing with regarding length, though I'm a big fan of tags that consist of at least a couple of paragraphs. More is fine, less is fine, I'm most concerned with your tag getting across what you need to write for your character. I love tags that include not just dialogue or actions, but your character's thought process, their inner workings, that sort of thing. If I'm writing with your character, it's because they're interesting to me, so the more I get to read about them the better. Really, you'll never be able to write a tag that I think is "too long". I adore writing with people who have a genuine appreciation for their characters that shows in their headcanons that in turn directs their actions. And love discussing that sort of stuff ooc.

Some of my favorite stuff includes: darker lines (usually the more twisted something is the better), apocalyptic settings, the occasional badass fight scene, angst (so much angst), fluff, star-crossed love, D/s dynamics, love triangles (though honest ooc communication is a must with this when it involves 3 players), power dynamics, past lives, time travel, soulmate-y things, AUs. Most stuff is my favorite stuff.

Honestly, if you have an idea, no matter how out there you think it is, please feel free to run it past me. I come up with some pretty questionable ideas too and if you bring me something 9.9/10 times I'm going to say yes. And if it happens to be that small percentage of the time I'm not comfortable with it, I'll be honest and let you know.

Not even gonna lie, I'm a giant shipper. And I'm willing to explore unconventional ships if you have an idea you want to pitch as long as we can attach some logic to it. I absolutely will not write ships with underage characters and would prefer writing said ships with characters at least in the ballpark of my character's age or older. I do prefer to ship with characters from fandoms I know (or am interested in learning about), typically other DC characters or Marvel characters for Harley and Rogue (though, if there's a reason why their universe and another universe would mesh well, definitely throw that idea at me!).

I love PSLs but I hate too much of the small-talky bits. I am down with AUs, Gen adventures, Ships, anything like that.

Specifics:

- Stargate has a canon AU where John is a burnt out detective in Vegas after being ejected from the Air Force. I'd like to play with this! It's fun to play things that aren't a full retread of canon stuff. I'm down to have him meet someone either on or off a case, investigate something your character is involved with, or if you're a canon character and want to try and drag him into the Stargate crew based on his interactions with them in the ep that's cool too!
- 'Cut off from Earth' drama stuff, where without oversight Atlantis has to start making it's own rules. I like the complication this brings!
- Wacky Space People Interactions. There's always room for just, episodic, 'we met the people who believe it's normal to do a whole bunch of weird stuff' type things to kickstart an arc.
- I'm into John getting aggressively knocked around because he basically begs for it by being an idiot on a daily basis, so if you are looking for someone to capture on a space adventure and kick the hell out of I've got your guy
- Equally, if you want to escape a bad space-kidnapping situation with someone John is... sometimes helpful?
- If you want a technical person to help hack you out of danger, Rodney can! Rodney is just also... much harder to match into a cross-canon friendship because he's pretty unlikeable so often. You might do better with canonmates for him or an AU where your character understands him.
- I'm also down for straight-up random AUs. I can do the vague 'coffee-shop AU ship-driven PSL' thing but it normally needs some kind of... arc and guiding idea so we don't risk small-talk stagnation.
- Post-apoc stuff is cool too, I am down to adventure through the remains of earth after your preferred disaster happened. Or the remains of a non-earth planet after the Atlantis project went bad. Or some other option!

For Tamaki, I'd primarily be interested in Mirio or Nejire, though willing to try with Eijirou. Ochako/Himiko is also a ship I'd really like to explore. M/M, F/F, M/F, smut between adults is all good. No adult/minor (this includes Himiko), but I'm tentatively open to exploring aged-up dynamics.
▷Gen. Especially mentor relationships and (found) family relationships. Todoroki family drama and Shimura family drama (including non-family who were involved with the Shimuras :eyes: ) would be much loved.
▷AUs. Maybe ones where Shimura Tenko or Todoroki Touya are still around? Or... swapping hero/villain roles, post-canon redemptions (Suicide Squad-esque?), no Quirk AUs... I'm pretty open on this front!
▷Cross-canon. Yes! You might have to sell me on a particular character and the potential CR (I'm really canon blind to... a lot), but I can definitely give it a shot!
▷Plots. I really love complicated relationships, whatever form they may take. For that, I'm up for darker plots, though balanced with some fluff or hurt/comfort or just healthy interactions, please. Another major love for me is characters healing from their hardships <3
▷Format. PSLs and memes are all good! Willing to look at games too. I really enjoy developing long-term CR, and as long as the format facilitates that I'll go with it. However, I'm also open to more short-term threads!
