FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

The game is set in Wonderland (as in Alice in) where characters live in a fancy mansion and game events are based around their own memories- for example, we just had an Infinity War plot from Steve Roger's memories of home.

[game info]: A panfandom game focused on body horror and long term character development on how they deal with those changes. Upon arrival, every new character will be stripped of their previous powers and begin to change into one of the listed monsters. The game is heavily focused on what happens after the change, such as what god you align with, how you go about treating the remaining npc humans, or what you allow yourself to become. Currently, our TAZ cast's permanent monsters are Lup and Taako as Nagas, Barry as a Kelpie, and John as a Troll.

The May app round is open until the 27th but apps are bi-monthly, and we're having a fourth wall next month which you can find deets about here! Even if you don't want to app we'd love to see you around. As far as other game stuff, AC is pretty standard (twenty comments across the board) which can be used from up to five different threads. We also have a super sweet bonus AC system that awards coins that can be used to buy monster upgrades, spells, or even bring in stuff from a character's homeworld. From in-game votes, characters are allowed to travel to other islands, discover the mystery of the world itself, it's broken-off islands, and how they happened to come here. AC is VERY low (3 comments in a single thread per month) and involves HEAVY player interaction with the plot. You can also sit back and roll with the punches! It's sex-friendly and some moonblessing traits do lend themselves to that, but platonic intimacy (e.g. hand-holding and hugging) are totally viable for a character to live off as well since the local currency is produced by all kinds of intimacy, and what traits taken are up to the player every moon cycle. Events tend to be a nice mix between CR building opportunities and action, and the setting has been developing based on past events.

The usual timing of the TDM/reserves is on the 8th, with apps opening a week later on the 15th. Come join our shenanigans, please...

[game info]: The Wake is a panfandom fantasy (mostly SoL but it does have an ongoing plot that happens sometimes) game where characters are "awakened" from their worlds in a place called Nautilus. This is because the multiverse is in need of protection from Flaws, a thing that alters a world in an unnatural way and if left unchecked, can destroy that world. Characters who had powers have those taken, but can be gained back by using an ability called Bending. The ability to create anyone the character wants. Limited by their imagination and skills.

The game focuses on character development and characters can "ascend" and gain more abilities and get stronger. They can also travel to other worlds as well. Activity Check is two pieces leading up to 12 pieces or two 6 pieces and another piece, but we do have a system in place where you can re-use a piece up to two times from within six months.

TDM is bi-monthly and apps & reserves are always open.

It's a fantasy game where your character is either established as a witch, or transformed into a monster of your choosing. Characters can establish magical "bonds" with one another to their own magical benefit. While characters have their magical powers nerfed, these are replaced by the game's system of magic depending on whether they end up as a witch or a monster. AC is monthly, 10 comments over two threads. Reserves are closed, but applications are open until 5/31.

[game info]: Life After is a survival game set on a group of islands. The gods there function on stories. Characters have to survive and discover the mysteries of the islands. Depending on what you like doing best, you can be heavily involved in plot or just happy taking a backseat and building CR. Both are designed for that. It's also heavily backtag friendly and very accommodating to those with massive RL workloads (like me). Easy AC as well!

Also this month's test drive is totally not suspicious and creepy.

[game info]: Asgard was an old panfandom game (before my time) set in the ethereal and mysterious... place... of Yggdrasil, and now it's coming back. People choose a god with their own goals and ideals to align with and house up based on those gods. It hasn't started yet and is still under construction, but the original game was super popular.

Reserves are open and the total player limit is set at 100. There are 60-some reserves up at the moment, but a lot are for, say, A Song of Ice and Fire, and not everyone in that fandom will get in, so take the incoming player assault with a grain of salt.

The AC checks are monthly and are pretty lenient compared to other games. There are overarching plots, but they mostly let you run around and do your own thing. I'd recommend reading the Introduction page to get a better idea of how it works since it's still fairly new.

Deerington is a panfandom horror game set in 1950's Maine, or at least a dream reality version of it. There's different types of horror, and you can customize it to the level you'd like to play. This place is meant to test your characters psyche! So play out whatever you think will break whoever you bring in, and have fun helping others do the same. Events are not mandatory, but you can always take a prompt and customize it to something you do want to play out. So if there's a month where nothing strikes you? That's okay! There's always something to do here. Game is medium-paced, super backtag friendly, and the AC rewards system can help with getting new IC items for the game.

[game info]: Imagine a world where any/all emotions you feel affect your surroundings, with the stronger the emotions, the bigger the effect. That's basically the setting in a nutshell. The game is fairly active with lots of plot to get involved in... or not if that's not your thing. Really, if you want to just sit and channel your happiness to make flowers grow that's cool too, and most the Fate/ cast thrives on backtagging so no worries if you're a slow tagger! Either way, the possibilities are nigh-endless, there's a decent-sized cast already but always room for more, and minimal (if any) power nerfing for most characters.

With that said, please note if you're an FGO apper, the game's app rules mean that only canon points that have been released in the English version are allowed. Currently that means the most recent appable point is Shinjuku for main story chapters, or SE.RA.PH for events. But anything within that limit is definitely fair game, and test driving characters that aren't appable yet is perfectly fine too. Also please note that while currently the Fate/ cast is primarily from FGO, you do not by any means need to feel obligated to app those versions. Go ahead, bring us some alternate timeline shenanigans!

Player Plots/Overarching Meta plot with slice of life

The Wake is where characters 'wake up' in a nexus sorry Doctors no time sight here and need to learn how to survive/coop with this new way of life. The main point of this game is character growth. Characters are encouraged to learn and grow beyond canon in however which why they might based on the in-game influencing factors.

Powers are able to regain abilities but not game breaking powers; example time sight. However, characters are also allowed to learn abilities they never had in canon. For instance; shapeshifting. When characters Ascend; aka the character growth, those characters are able to learn higher abilities, like being able to Fly or Teleport. As well as being able to travel to other worlds and fixing flaws (A Player Plot)

The story of the game itself is that there was a war with god like beings, one of those god-like beings in secret became the game setting (Nautilus) and therefore Nautilus is an actual living being that is conscious but don't worry most of the time Nautilus are like the majority of the Time Lords and doesn't interfere.

Activity check is relatively relaxed, and put simply it is two pieces of the following;
12 network comments (can use multiple threads to make one activity piece)
1 network post (provided you've made an effort to reply)
1 log community participation (doesn't have to be your post)

[game info]: Rookshire is designed to be a small game with a beginning and end. It's a relaxed environment with a tightknit playerbase. It's a great setting for close CR and developing characters, as well as easy access to game plot for everyone.

Rookshire is a pan-fandom game with a focus on survival and exploration. Players will have access to new locations on a monthly basis as well as the ever changing building itself. There will be paranormal elements in many of the new locations as well as significant psychological horror undertones to the main exploration. The goal of this is not to be a horror-based game but there are horror elements that will come up due to the extreme survival situation.

Due to the nature of the game, all players must be at least 18 years of age and all characters must be at least 16.
