FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

So then are we looking at something like:

Britannia, being a space colony with limited resources compared to Earth, is secretly supported by an alien race that spurs its technological advancement well beyond the rate at which it would develop without their assistance. Thus, the Knightmares. Without realizing this, the Britannian people buy heavily into the idea that they're superior to the people of Earth. Public support for conquering and claiming their home planet grows significantly, and their culture (or at least, the culture of their aristocracy) develops along a similar war-mongering vein to what we see in the anime.

Britannia invaded a year? Two? Three? Longer? Before the start of the PSL. It's conquered some land (a significant amount? just enough to establish a stronghold?) and is making ground, but it's also suffered significant losses -- as has the rest of Earth's forces. The aliens lay in wait until one massive battle finally balances the odds in their favour and they begin their onslaught against humanity as a whole. The PSL would begin either before Cornelia's priorities shift, the moment that she joins forces with Troy, or after they begin working together? Yes, no?

Do you think the aliens should launch a direct attack or should there be more of a subtle build-up to an all-out war? Also, what'll be happening with Troy while all of the pre-aliens stuff is going down?

Hiyori!! I am currently not playing Yukine anywhere, but I do play over at

awashrpg (as Hawke from Dragon Age) and might enjoy Noragami to a large degree.

Apps just opened today and the TDM is over here and general faq here. In short, it's about a colourless town where the characters within are working hard together to restore it. Everyone is separated between RED, BLUE, and YELLOW. It has monthly events, which vary in severity and style. Characters are also offered additional quests each month, which are an excellent tool to jumpstart threads.

I have had a great time here insofar and fondly enjoy everyone's willingness to backtag.

pacing is slow / medium, no castmates from his universe but we have other marvels (mostly from comics) that might know of another version of him and make things interesting

our ac is 15 comments spread over a medium of 3 threads. theres no power nerfing, just optional power kickbacks (ie, your character ends up with a nosebleed when they use some powers. or not! up to you)

it's a psychological horror game, but not too dark, mostly spooky with lovecraftian themes

our tdm is still going strong after a month and change, give us a look!

(personally, i'm dying to get more characters who are younger... and also... i love spiders........... but anyway)

it's pretty plot heavy, psych horror with lovecraftian elements, but all the really twisted stuff is up to the descretion of the player obviously, so you never have to do anything too intense unless YOU want to. there's also a heavy exploration element, and you can submit animals and plantlife and locations to fill these new areas, etc.

speaking of, there's no power nerfing, so much as backlash, the intensity of which is basically up to you. it's a fun way to make your characters work around powers, but if you to minimize it, that's totally fine too!

we're extremely oc friendly, and always looking for more ;)

wastemods), a psych horror game with strong focus on exploration. the more you explore in the setting, the less creepy it gets... or does it. etc etc. ultimately it's always up to the player how much weird stuff they want to happen.

speaking of, we're very plot focused, and definitely backtag friendly! pace is slow / medium, one plot post every 3 weeks, ac is 15 comments over 3 threads, it's pretty easy to keep up with. sadly no ff or harry potters yet. yet. we're also very oc friendly!

that said, someone with a knowledge of farming would be real helpful since the characters just discovered an open pasture area with arable land. but, yanno, goku doesn't have to do that... forever... especially when the newest thing shows up that needs to be punched

we're slow / medium paced, with pretty simple ac (15 comments over 3 threads).

we dont do power nerfs so much as choose-your-own-power-fuckery. since the game has a horror elements, certain powers (which are up to your discretion) can be weakened, nerfed, or cause backlash. up to you! as long as its not gamebreaking, we're probably good for it.

i know you said you're over horror games, so it's totally cool if this is a no go for you, but we're much more psych horror / lovecraftian than gore stuff (if you want body horror, it's optional, not required; we're much more interested in mindfuckery).

we're medium / slow paced, with a new plot event every 3 weeks, and our ac is 15 comments spread over 3 threads per month.

aefenglom! It's a game with the option of having the characters come in either as a witch with using magic or a monster that slowly transforms into one of many options to choose from. You can also choose different kinds of magic for her to focus on if you go with the witch option for her.

The ac is pretty lowkey and so is the pace, at least for me. If you're keen, we can talk more about it and I can answer questions.

Anyway, it's looking like it's gonna end up being on the "smaller game" side, so I doubt it'll be going crazy fast. While it'll have the occasional spoopy elements, it won't be straight up horror, and focus more on the sci-fi/light fantasy with potential for slice of life and plot.

So I've been setting up a game called Summer's End for a while that maybe you'd be interested in? It's definitely gonna look like it'll be on the slow-paced and smaller side for now, but it'll have a mixture of SoL and plot that I'm really hype and determined to do. We're CRAU-friendly and I like to think that the AC is fairly simple, so hopefully it'll fulfill those quotas.

Humanization won't be necessary, and is in fact encouraged for characters to remain as they are and keep their canon abilities unless they're gonna be game-breaking, so spooky ghost doll thing would be totally chill.

The game's will have some mature elements but is still welcoming towards underaged characters, so no worries about any smut-related events or anything. It looks like we're gonna start out on the smaller/slower side, if that's okay with you.

Overall the tone will be a bit of everything. For the most part it's sci-fi with apocalyptic/end-of-the-world themes, but there will be plenty of light and comical elements with chance for slice of life as well. It's gonna be a mixture of plot and "make your own fun" type of setting, if that interests you any.

While the game will have some slice of life/make your own fun elements, it's a mixture of everything and there will be an overarching plot and mysteries for characters to uncover if they're on the proactive side. The game's not open yet but I'm pretty sure we're gonna end up on the small/slow paced side for now, if that's okay with you.

Powers will be retained, so long as they're not particularly game-breaking, which I don't think will be an issue here. I haven't really thought of putting up a full moon cycle on the calendar yet, but I can get on that for any werewolf types that end up in the game.

Jill might fit in well with the game I've been setting up: Summer's End? There will be a decent amount of focus on adventure, exploration, and action, with chances for slice of life/"make your own fun" with the locations. Smut is allowed but we're not a sex game.

The setting is on an island that's pretty large and openish, with a lot of areas and ecosystems to explore. While there are some high-tech areas, the island itself is pretty diverse with lots of animals/monsters to encounter.

We haven't opened yet, but it looks like we'll be starting out as a small/slow paced game, so I can't really say how many older characters we'll be getting. I know I'll be bringing my OC here who is a synthetic soldier-lady thing and I know a few others who will be apping mature characters as well.
