ENABLEMEPLZ meme goes up on the last Saturday of every month FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. [game info]: Life After is a survival game set on a group of islands. The gods there function on stories. Characters have to survive and discover the mysteries of the islands. Depending on what you like doing best, you can be heavily involved in plot or just happy taking a backseat and building CR. Both are designed for that. It's also heavily backtag friendly and very accommodating to those with massive RL workloads (like me). Easy AC as well!

Also the current test drive is totally not sinister and suspicious. No way.

[game info]: A panfandom game focused on body horror and long term character development on how they deal with those changes. Upon arrival, every new character will be stripped of their previous powers and begin to change into one of the listed monsters. The game is heavily focused on what happens after the change, such as what god you align with, how you go about treating the remaining npc humans, or what you allow yourself to become. Currently, our TAZ cast's permanent monsters are Lup and Taako as Nagas, Barry as a Kelpie, and John as a Troll.

The game has bimonthly apps, so the app round actually isn't open until July 21st- plenty of time to play around and write an app! As far as other game stuff, AC is pretty standard (twenty comments across the board) which can be used from up to five different threads. We also have a super sweet bonus AC system that awards coins that can be used to buy monster upgrades, spells, or even bring in stuff from a character's homeworld. From in-game votes, characters are allowed to travel to other islands, discover the mystery of the world itself, it's broken-off islands, and how they happened to come here. AC is VERY low (3 comments in a single thread per month) and involves HEAVY player interaction with the plot. You can also sit back and roll with the punches! It is important to note that it is a low-tech setting and there is some power nerfing (but not total loss)- check out the linked pages for more info.

Deerington is a horror focused game taking place in a small town in Maine. Each event has a different theme of horror and so it covers a wide variety of genres so there is something for everyone. Most horror options are capable of partial or full opt-outs and players can usually cater the level of horror involvement to their own personal comfort levels. We've had people go all out on body horror or murder sprees and some who only ever focus on the psychological aspects while others really engage with the monsters, etc. Everyone tends to be able to find their own little niche with each event.

AC is a point based system with 30 points being required each month to pass AC. Text/video/voice tags in any comm/inbox are worth 1 point, face-to-face interactions in any comm/inbox are worth 3 points, and any top-level/post is worth 10 points. Threads commented to your own post/top-level can be counted for points! The game is medium-paced and back-tag friendly (back-tags can be counted for points for up to 3 months from the start date) and it makes AC extremely easy to meet.

Our Life is Strange cast is very active and we have tons of cross-canon friends that would love to meet more people from their world, so you're definitely guaranteed CR! We have a good chunk of villain/quasi-villain characters in the game (Reaper from Overwatch, Billy from Stranger Things, Lilith from the new Sabrina show, etc.), so even people like Nathan or Jefferson who are more prone to negative CR would likely be able to find some solid grounding here.

The game itself is pretty open with the world to explore, with action spread through three major cities and different storylines to pick up. Past game logs have had a heavy focus on action and exploration, and there's also the fact you get your own daemon animal that's the external manifestation of your soul.

The Castlevania cast right now is just from the Netflix side of things, but it'd be great to have characters from the rest of the franchise. The AU aspect of the game also means that you don't have to be strictly human either, so there's a lot of creative freedom.

[game info]: duplicity is a sex game with dark elements involving forced dom/sub dynamics, punishments for not fitting the status quo or filling your monthly sexual quota (ic, not ooc--you can handwave a character's sexual content), so on. there's a focus on getting people to act out on their darker impulses. a lot of characters try to just go day to day without tripping any traps, but a lot also are working toward forms of rebellion, which always has consequences if caught. there are also events ranging from aphro to body altering to role swapping and anything in between. most recently there were trials (for prizes) and slave auctions, where before there have been things like linked jewelry/locked doors forcing sexual contact, different forms of said aphros urging characters to act as they normally wouldn't, etc. some player plots with darker intents have been kicking off lately too, so there's a lot to play with!

Not only do we need THE EARTH SIBLINGS TO BE TOGETHER AGAIN but there's been a lot of plot and due to a recent event uh. ...Neither Eizen nor Rokurou are doing too well, ah ha ha ha. coughmalevolencecough They'll be fine! In general, it would be nice to see the gang again, and look, Rokurou was left to be the captain of the airship from the previous crew. Is this really a great idea? (No, no it's not.)

They're then brought to the city of Lunatia where they find out that they are a Moonblessed—people with the gift of the moons. The moonblessings lend player characters physical and mental traits of animals which are all opt-in. The game has only been around for about three months so plot-wise, not much has been revealed.

[game info]: Aefenglom is a panfandom fantasy game set in the post-apocalyptic world of Geardagas. It's a sort of fantasy/steampunky feel. Characters are mysteriously brought to the world through some unknown magic and have to integrate for the time being. Characters lose any canon abilities and become either monsters or witches, which means they either transform into something or learn magic. In order to help mitigate the effects of these changes, characters are encouraged to form a magical bond from one to three other characters.

AC is fairly undemanding and the pace is medium-slow. People are very kind to back tag and while there are standards for transformation/spell learning, you get to kind of pick and choose how that development goes.

As far as the Voltron crew goes, Allura and Keith (+Kosmo) were the first to arrive in the opening month (May) and are both witches. Allura is staying in the town proper while Keith is building a shack in the woods. (No, really.) "Shiro" joined in June and, from his very early canon point, has no idea what's going on. Keith and Allura are leaning on the idea that ignorance is bliss for now. Shiro is a chimera--part lion, of course. They are all a little worried about Keith living like bigfoot.

[wanted]: tbh it's a hilarious longshot, but anyone? The Good Hunter, Eileen, and for maximum yucks, the Doll and Gehrman are at the top of the list, but anyone she might know (old hunter folks) or might not know (the more modern day peeps) are more than welcome! Also semi-non-canonmates but Dark Souls peeps would be great, too. One of y'all has to have a Friede journal.
[game info]: Premise. It's a smut-friendly game focused on these things called Bonds. There are a variety of Monsters, which can fulfill your daily dose of body horror, and Witches, for those not interested in that, and the Bonds can be formed most strongly between the Monsters and Witches, or lesser so between Monsters and Monsters and Witches and Witches. The creatures here mostly keep their humanity, but it's been super great having a Hunter be really uncomfortable with how laissez faire people are about having Werewolves just hanging out in their midsts.

Trust me, within five minutes of being there, Maria was threatening to throw down with one of the major NPCs, it's fine.

It's medium sized, and medium paced, I can't say much more than that. Friendly crowd! Lot of older characters to interact with. I've been having a grand ol' time; Maria's there as a Witch!
