FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be screened and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

IN GENERAL:

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

tl;dr: the big bad wolf in human form responsible for protecting a secret enclave of fairy tale characters in 1980s new york. great at punching things, solving mysteries and finding reasons to never sleep. he's a grouchy but ultimately good-hearted guy with a lot of emotional baggage who still doesn't quite understand how to be human even after centuries of living as one, but he's still determined to keep trying anyway and work at making up for all the awful things he did as a giant murderbeast back in ye olden days.

PREFERENCES

in the mood for: psls and memes! dark stuff and light stuff! shipping and gen! anything goes for this dude. admittedly, i love my dark fantasy and violent action plots, but i'm all for playing out lighter, cuter things too — and even blending both together if that's your thing. nothing's too weird for me as long as it leads to something fun and engaging.

shipping: ota 21+ with a preference for older characters. he works well with tough, broody types who have as many issues to work through as he does, but i'd really be interested in playing him against bubbly, playful characters who can get him outside of his comfort zone and push back against his prickliness. being in a relationship with him would be like having a puppy who would follow you around and bite the hell out of anyone who tries to hurt you, so be prepared for that???

i love playing him against characters from dark fantasy or fairy based canons, mythological and folkloric characters, characters from 80s-based canons, other vertigo-dc comic dudes, other telltale games characters, and vigilante/detective types — and supervillains too if you wanna get some hateshipping going, i don't judge.

also, even though i've resigned myself to being an eternal lcw — if you play or have played rose red from fables, i'd be very interested in playing with you! i have several au shipping ideas involving her, so hmu if you're interested. the same goes for any nerissa, bloody mary and cinderella players!

other stuff: building nontraditional families, learning more about the human/"real world" and trying to work past the issues that come with living in it, fighting weird monsters and villains, going on adventures where you'll have the opportunity to ride on a giant wolf, meeting all the wacky fairy tale characters from your childhood and finding out why they all hate your new friend so much... you know, cool, magical stuff.

about me: my timezone is est, and because of work (and eventually school when it starts up in a few weeks) i'm usually online in the late afternoon or evening hours unless i have a day off. i try not to take longer than a day or two to get back to tags and i like to boomerang them as often as possible, so coordinating our threads through discord is definitely an option if you use it.

I'm only familiar through the TellTale game, but I'm a sucker for dark fantasy-esque plots. I'd be glad to do a game rewatch for a canon-mate or maybe pluck up some mythos for a modern take. Any interest?

TWAU has been on the list for a good while for me and bf to check out but it totally sounds like my jam. Esp considering I thought Once Upon a Time had such amazing potential at the start.

I'd be down for some kind of found family or adopted fam type thing for him and Clem though? If you're also familiar with TWD from Telltale as well. Clem could help/work in dealing with darker stuff alongside trying to strive for the lighter moments in between.

it's actually kind of hilarious you bring once upon a time up! there's rumors that it was originally conceived as a fables tv show, which is the comic series twau is based off. they're pretty similar in a lot of regards, so if you liked it, you'll probably really like twau!

THAT BEING SAID, i'm very very familiar with telltale's twd. i'd love to do anything with clem! i've only played the first two seasons, but i know enough about s3 and 4 to not be in the dark if you're playing her from one of those canonpoints. plus, it's one of the great telltale crossovers i've always wanted to do, SO YEAH. i'm game if you are!

I had no idea? But that makes sense? I've had friends mention if I liked the potential/idea of Once that I should check out Fables/TWAU.

I actually only have this journal now since I ended up deleting the ones I had of her when she was younger for season one/two. So if it wouldn't be spoiling you, Final Season works for me!

Heh. Right, I was just mindful with spoilers if you had only gotten through the first couple seasons.

But yes, either of those three are fine for me. As far as memes go I tend to stick with text ones or insomnia/random scenario and picture prompt (the gen one). Otherwise yeah, I'm cool with doing something in museboxes more privately if it might end up a longer term thing.
